What is up with all the "add on" pieces? Over the last couple years I have done 2 projects with these forms, never used any of the add on parts. Simply set the forms, stake each 8' piece down with a 1x2x24" wood stake, then put 2x8 screed boards into the slot at the top(2x8's are flush with the top of the styrofoam). Backfill leaving the 2x8 exposed, and pour. KISS principle. If I had watched this video prior to trying these forms in the first place, I'm not sure I would have ever tried them out. Doing another project with them this summer. Ignore the 2x12 and add on pieces and spray foam and little angle brackets attached to ??? the dirt??? and just use the commercial sized forms at 24" tall and go.. Again KISS principle. These can be really nice and simple to use..
