Hey Lucas, I just wanted to let you know that I've been listening to John Williams's stuff actively for the past 8 years and upon recently hearing your stuff for the first time, I think it's absolutely on-par with his and it's definitely something I'll be throwing into my Star Wars playlists from now on. Revan's theme, but with echoes of Binary sunset, Vader's rise, and Anakin's fall. This music really is the perfect 'theme' for Revan
The betrayal felt by the Jedi and the republic when he was leading the Sith against them was as bad if not worse than Anakins, after all the knowledge that he was Vader was not common at all
This theme always gives me chills when i hear it especially the vocals

that fucking bitch kylo ren sucks compared to revan. The first time i noticed kylo i immediately thought "oh a revan rip off" (in terms of appearance)
Ι have heard of it before, people making comparisons between Revan and Kylo but I just shrugged it off as simple retardation. I never had the chance to ask anyone, how is Kylo similar to Revan?
-Revan's robes are blue with a red stripe and he has a bronze, two-part breastplate which connects to his cape. Kylo's robes are just black, there is nothing close to a breastplate and the components of his clothing are modern. His hood comes from a rag he hangs around his shoulders.
-Revan's mask is red and Mandalorian in origin. Fully metal from what I remember. Kylo's mask is not red or Mandalorian. It is a makeshift black helmet with leather and silver parts.
-Revan has had alot of simple lightsabers. Kylo only has one original lightsaber.
-Revan is a beast in both Light and Dark and thus carves his own path in between. Kylo is a beast in both Light and Dark but is torn apart by those immense forces instead.
-Revan was at the top of his military, Kylo is directly subservient to Snoke.
-Revan is complete, Kylo is still in training.
So, yeah, help me out here. In which way at all, appearance or otherwise, are they similar. Is it the vaguely oblong mask? Because if so, Old Republic era Sith were all Revan copycats.

Wrong. The only two to ever understand the force as it was intended, was Kreia(Darth Traya), and Valkorion(Vitiate). Those two truly knew the cruel fate that the force sets for them. Kreia accepts it, and falls into it's arms, and Valkorion controls it to his whim. Revan was simply a man conflicted by the Force.
Every Revan fan needs to hear this.

AngelDemon Hey there. KOTOR lore speaking Revan returned to the light and that was that. I honestly despise anything Gray because that was fan fiction from day one. @@CDRW24 Even KOTOR 2 talks about Gray Jedi as being the polar opposite of Revan personality wise. Gray Jedi are indecisive. Revan Does not wait, he acts, he makes sacrifices, gives into the dark so others dont have to.

While part of me hates Revan not being part of Star Wars anymore, I personally hope Disney keeps their filthy hands off of him. They'd probably find some way to damage his character totally beyond repair...
I still prefer, and probably always will, to keep the Legends as the real Star Wars. The politics, the war, the struggle, the history, the legacy, ... there's nothing of that in the new Canon. Legends has a lively history of both the Sith and the Jedi, and an everlasting struggle for power between the two. Star Wars is sth that never truly can have an ending. The Jedi won't ever cast out the Darkness, and the Sith will never truly extinguish the Light.
They'd make him fricking Mickey Mouse or something. Or a crazy old man who dies in the first minute of the movie after the title crawl

They’ll probably do it anyway considering that they’re pretty deceitful people who will probably go back on their word about not touching the real canon. We’ve all complained enough that I’m sure that they’ll be desperate enough to retract all their decisions so far.
It’s what happened with the ‘new trilogy’ of their version of canon. They switched directors midway, and the plots they were building suffered because of difference in ideas between directors and appeasing the oh so great Mistress Kathleen Kennedy (the garbage person that she is).

I would've loved if the Shadow of Revan arc ended up in Revan Reborn being the Revanite Compound Leader instead of the actual Revan, and have Revan make his final apperance in KOTET fighting at your side the final battle aganist Valkorion.
I mean, he had been fighting a 300 years campaign aganist Vitiate, it would have been real awsome to have him join you in that final duel.

I was working on a paper and I noticed that I was silently muttering the story of Revan, and somehow the moments of swelling and the silence in many ways correlate with his story. I thought it was a cool thing, and an example of how well this piece encapsulates the emotion and story of Revan. Great job man

They completely broke the entire plot, it makes no sense to accept their plot-hole-ridden nonsensical crap. Until Disney came along, Star Wars (inc EU/Legends) was pretty damn coherent and consistent (relatively speaking anyway). Then in one swift idiotic move, they managed to not only fuck up the new trilogy, but go one step further and actually ruin all the prior stuff as well!!! The half-assed "writing" in the new trilogy introduces more plot holes than I came even keep track of. To say that Disney's bs is "canon" is laughable.

The dark-side/evil ending of Kotor 1 is so damn badass. I was never much into Legends as I never have read any of the comics or books, but damn Kotor 1 made me fall in love with Revan's character very quickly.

Revan is my favorite character of all time because he walked the razor's edge between the light and the dark and mastered both. He was willing to wage war and commit atrocities in order to help and protect others. He was truly a savior. conqueror, hero, and villain.
The Sith are much cooler than the Jedi. Almost all the best characters in Star Wars , either canon or legends , are sith. or have been sith at some point. Palpatine , Vader , Revan , Treya , Ragnos , Bane , Lumiya , Krayt , Dooku , Exar Kun , Ventress , Maul etc etc etc. Yes they may be considered evil but they are much more interesting than the bland Jedi. Long live to the Sith !!!!

Thats what i loved so much about KototR: The revolutinary view on the force. As 2 sides that belong to each other, like light and shadow. They are depending on each other,; both cant exist with each other. Only through keeping this 2 in balance, you reach true power. Both extremes of the force will lead to a dead end...The dark and light side alike. The dark side will make you very powerful but it will consume you, the light side will make you weak and too passiv...The grey knights are the real wielders of power!
Revan > Anything Disney's given us thus far (even Rogue One which was honestly pretty good)
With that, I honestly don't think it matters that the man/woman who was both the most powerful Jedi and most powerful Sith in history isn't canon.
