I don't know that it is bullshit per say. I'm not a DVM and as far as I know neither is Clinton, no disrespect Sir. I'm certain it would be fairly uncommon to not be able to use any kind of bit. Should you have to always use a bit. The answer should be no. The reason is simply because the horse has adequate training that starts with fundamental ground control first right? If you put the time it takes in, it takes less time. Horses always take a lot of time for just day to day care and routine. Training is more difficult for some horses versus others because some learn finess things at a slower rate just like all mamnals actually, humans included. The only thing I can think of without knowing and just a hypothetical is maybe a previous jaw injury thst healed improperly. I would think this would be extremely rare and wonder about the quality of life for the horse if this was the case even actually which is a different conversation entirely. We can wrap these damn things in bubble wrap and they still get fucked up and seriously injured. That's a strong reality with horses. Thanks for sharing the video, I like to watch your stuff. I don't follow or practice all of it. I think a lot of your stuff is solid and spot on, especially for novice people and you do a wonderful job bridging horses and people together. Keep up the goid work!

Definitely foul language. Totally not necessary to cuss every other word. Or to to be so critical.

I ride in a 4 knot rope halter all the time, even at a horse show. I always ride bitless because it is not the equipment. It is attunement and connection with my horse. Why ask that question? Does she need approval? My husband hates that I ride bitless, he says it is dangerous, well not working your horse and connecting and understanding how they think is dangerous.
