Been studying nutrition for many years and recently became Vegan, I haven’t seen such quality in the content in this channels videos. It all makes sense now. High protein with voluminous foods like veggies will give you the calorie deficit you need as long as you are under maintenance calories while also not feel like you are starving. So simple yet never has it been explained so well and intuitively.
Thank you for watching Andrew! So glad you found value in it!

Great video. A suggestion: I use a little water instead of the oil for stir fry. Even though I have a nonstick pan, things can still burn at the bottom. So the small amount of water tempers the heat a little.
Yes! Great suggestion! Thanks for sharing, Kim 😊
Great video, thank you so much.

Probably a weird question, but what if you want to do both - build muscle and lose weight? Loving your videos.
Good question. Both is definitely possible!
If I want to lose weight while building muscle would I focus my meals around the muscle growth types of meals as I am working out about 45 mins everyday trying to get between 4-6 days of either cardio and weights
If you want to lose weight, you should eat in a caloric deficit and focus on fat loss meals. To build muscle, you will want to focus on strength training and progressive overload. Finally, to lose body fat while gaining lean muscle, you need to maintain a high-protein diet. @@TheVeganGym Great article - thank you!
Wait, that whole bowl of food is one meal? 600 calories? Not meant to be split into two meals? I'm confused. Great video. It would be SO MUCH clearer if you did one meal first, completely, then did the other meal imo.
Ikr! When you don't use oil or sugar or flour the volume of food you can eat is intimidating at first!
I'm worried about the sodium content in the soya sauce 😢 I love ss but it's not healthy although I'm always tempted 😅
Since I'm an athlete, I need more sodium in my diet. 🌱🙂
❤❤❤
💚💚
I eat at a banana after every meal for surplus... thanks I really needed this.
Adding fruit is a great way to boost calorie intake! I'm glad you enjoyed this video! 😃
Where is the 4 or 7 day meal plan?

So confused on what to eat. Many swear buy the carnivore diet, keto, then others say go vegan. 😕
I don't know what to do. I want to burn fat ang gain muscle :D
It's all a process!!
Sorry, but way too much sodium.
Sodium needs are highly dependent on how much you sweat. I live a very active lifestyle and sweat a lot. You can adjust your sodium intake to meet your needs.
Great effort however THE HUMAN BODY CANNOT DIGEST MOST OF THIS FOOD, BIOLOGICAL, ANATOMICAL FACT.
Which food, exactly, can we not process? And which studies prove the indigestibility of these foods?
Yes, it's all a ploy by the evil brocolli industry trying to push out inoccent and totally ethical animal killing with all the healthy products it gives us.
@@TheVeganGym also, I would not recommend to reply to obvious trolls like this in the future, since entering discussions and leaving several posts is the easiest way for them to do a-b testing and then use the most successful comments on other social platforms. heard it in a online security podcast but makes sense at least to me.
