Back in november I moved into a new place and I never set up my VR there, I moved back about a month ago and GOD, I missed this game. Thank you for all that you've done with this amazing game Anton :)
nice. i just got my vr system last week and just got my cable in (quest 2 so need that USB-C to USB-C. gotta admit, pretty impressed with the amount of guns in the game. do gotta ask, does anyone have recommendations for a control scheme that balances moving and one handed manipulation of gun while sitting for the quest 2 controllers?
Other Games: struggling with a few breaking objekts H3VR: "That is the sound of like 30 Objects breaking into peaces and colliding" Love the little changes btw, MP5 consitency and so on. Great work.
Looking forward to seeing people just using the Breaching Scene and GamePlanner to just decorate Anton’s apartment like it’s a VR interior decorating game.

as someone who as a child, binge watched Matrix, Die Hard, and amongst other action films, along with playing video games like Max Payne and COD4. The Berreta M9 has such a special place in my heart. So much nostalgia. When i turned of legal age to purchase a handgun. I bought an M9. And that was my first, AND last gun purchase. I feel like my childhood ended in a sense now that i finally had one. And since its so damn expensive to shoot. This update is amazing dude. Truly awesome
These destructible objects give me an idea... Hardcore Onsite Procurement Patrice. No knife, but a random destructible object spawns with you. I want to be able to show Sosigs what the Rock is cooking with a chairslam to the back.
I laughed like a idiot when Anton used the lamp as a melee weapon, I don't know why silly items such as that are so hilarious to me when used in a "incorrect" fashion.
The large object inertia is a good idea to keep because I kinda wanna see a Super Strength Weenie that would temporarily remove it and let you yeet heavy objects at regular speed.
I still can't believe update 100 is coming up, this game has been getting better and better every week and a collective 100 updates, improvements, and bug fixes to the game still sound unbelievable to me. Thank you Anton for doing so much to this game and for always making entertaining and content-rich updates!
Great video man, as always. But since you have been working on the beretta series you could include a slide release button on the 93r, unless it is in other button, different from the other pistols and my dumb head didn' figure that out.
YES! M9s! These might be the only guns out there I'd describe as beautiful. I just love how they're both functional and have a sense of style. So many other guns just look "cool" or "futuristic," meaning they have a bunch of rails and look vaguely SCAR/ACR-esque for rifles and basic Browning for pistols. Not the Beretta. Also, destructible props are a great thing to work on when updating Chow Yun Fat's favorite firearm.
Just want to say that I think focusing on general quality improvements like this is a welcome focus instead of new content. There are so many great firearms in the game but the truth is there a ton that would benefit from a bit of love. Thanks!
very well done Anton. the Berettas are looking great! I'm a fan of the 92 FS as that's what I carried in the Corps 2004-2008. I never got to see the A3, Corps is always last to bet the new toys lol, but they're all fine handguns.
With the addition of new destructibles I cannot wait for modders to make more custom maps with them! Right now everything is very blank and static but with these new additions hopefully we will see more full maps!
hey anton one change id love in the item spawner is when you look at a weapon it shows you all the mags and ammo types that are compatable with it, i like using different mags as part of my gun customizing but i always have to spend ages looking through the other guns trying to find other mags ans testing which ones are compatable with my gun
The updated environment you showcased, along with the cool object interactions you showed made me think you would be great at making shootout levels. Imagine a bar shootout where hot dogs are ambushing you, and you just smash bottles or stools into them, maybe throw up a few objects for cover. How fun ^-^

Your offhand comment about the M9A3's profile, with the mainspring housing being a different shape, reminded me of mine. My M9A3, which I got new, came with a Hogue wraparound grip to mimic the feel of the more classic humpback design, and which is currently on my pistol. Perhaps you could add that for those who prefer the classic one?
Hey Anton, i noticed a few shotguns like the KSG having some collision issues with the Geo-location of the HTC Vive hands(gen1) is there a way we can move it a little bit forward so i dont smack my controllers everytime i want to pump the shotgun(traditional, instead of using a foregrip)
I can't remember all the melee weapons off the top of my head, but if we don't have one already we absolutely need a golf club for pottery shenanigans. :D

I'm so glad that the A3 got this once-over. The slide being a different cover than the grip always bugged me. I really like the tacticool potential of destructible lightbulbs! Even if they aren't technically functional.
You may or may not be aware but the M9A3 comes with a wrap-around grip that looks like the original grip for those people who have more meaty paws and cant use the slim grip.
I was thinking, you know what would be super cool? The gun from Dredd that has different ammo types in one magazine of rounds. I'd love to see something like that in H3VR later down the road.
The moment I saw the big leaves, there is a part of my mind that really wants Anton to implement bullet holes in them like the paper target he did a while ago😂
Do you have any interest in supporting the decamove SDK? It’s hardware agnostic and personally when I saw it it seemed like it could help a lot with arm swinger movement. If you didn’t see it it’s a 3doF IMU clipped to the belt (works with a phone or vive tracker) that adds the user’s waist as an anchor for movement’s direction instead of their head or hands.
I'd love some drag on two-handed weapons! It feels so good when it actually feels hefty, and not just air that has a loud bang. Blade & Sorcery does "weight" pretty well, for instance.
In just glad modding and updating is easier than it seems. Even tho there's an update every week the modding team makes it instantly accessible. Thank you for working with these guys not against them.
Can we get support for deca move for locomotion / rig placement? You don’t really turn your chest away from your hip unless your stretching and you can also just attach the deca move to your stomach instead of hip

In regards to the inertia thing, it looked as tho the whole prop just kept position in relation to the hands. You talked about bring that into the larger melee weapons, i have an idea thst doesn't look to be part of it yet. Have it so that the farther end of the object lags behind in speed change, but gains momentum. Like you were able to hit that sosig with the couch but it wouldn't do much, if you had instead done a large swipe after enough of a swing that couch would have enough momentum to smash whatever it hits. (Of course this is ignoring how hard it would be to swing a couch around) Think of more like how a axe works, long swipe to build momentum, then suddenly impact and all that momentum smashes the blade into the object. The start of the swing would be weakened, but the end of a long swipe would be amplified into the target. Depending on the target and object used you could take away a certain amount of momentum per object. Hit a sosig with a baseballbat? Momentum ends, but all is imparted on that part and pushes the sosig from that point, knocking them over after enough of a hit. A katana to the face would need a certain amount to cut through their head, but could actually be possible to do a single slash head chop every time by using the momentum, not enough however and it will get stuck part way through, potentially even killing the sosig but getting stuck in it's meat. Of course this wouldn't be simple and would require coding a weight class (some form of momentum scaling) to each melee weapon.

My inner gun nut loves the new M9s and pistol changes. Also, if you do look into the Item Spawner, could you maybe add the ability to name vaulted weapons? I think it'd be cool to name a kitted out stealth M4 the "Whisper" or some other cheesy crud that helps me remember what each "blueprint" was for. :)

i love the attention to triggers, i shoot competition and have certainly taken note of which guns have good trigger resets or short pulls!
