This new climbing axe mechanic is actually far superior because with the older ones if you try to climb some times one axe will interupt the other making you have to swing again, now when can have both axes in the wall at the same time removing this issue.
This would be great in Revenge of The Rot-Weiners, imagine scaling a cliff or dilapidated building and if there's a rot-weiner near or at the top you could either shoot it and risk attracting more to your precarious position, or take a chance and try to snag it so you can send it over the cliff you just climbed up.

@@daggerace9918 That is a major difference, but it's not the only one. Compared to the M16A2, the C7A1 features ambidextrous controls, which the M16 does not have. C7 platform rifles equipped with scopes use the Elcan C79 3.4x28 magnified sight, as opposed to the Trijicon ACOG 4x32 rifle scope on the M16 (the Elcan C79 offers a wider field of view and a less obstructive reticle in exchange for less powerful magnification and less ability to compensate for range and windage on the fly). C7 platform rifles are all semi/full auto while many M16 variants are semi/burst. The handguard on the C7A1 is visually similar to that of the M16A2, but it's made of a thicker, sturdier polymer, and has an integrated heat shield which the M16 lacks. The chrome lining in the barrel and chamber is also thicker, meaning it lasts longer and is more resistant to corrosion. Lastly, the barrel is a cold hammer forged CMV steel barrel with a thicker profile and 1:7 rifling twist as opposed to the 1:9 twist the Americans use. This results in a much more accurate and durable barrel, though significantly heavier. The C8 also has a longer barrel than the M4, allowing a bullet to retain more power over distance. These are just a few of over 300 differences between the rifles. Overall the C7 platform is more accurate and more durable than the M16, but also heavier and more expensive. And when I was using the axes I was like "Wouldn't it be cool if you could stick an axe in the wall and shoot at something?" And you added them the next day. I love the devs of this game and how they just add cool shit because... they can! This whole new take and hold has made sniping so much more fun in h3vr too, and I think that a grappling gun would be super fun to use in take&hold aswell. (Also, if any players are reading this that want to explore the new terrain quickly, I recommend using "The OG" shotgun. I think its supposed to be a joke gun but it actually works as high speed transport across the map.)
You should add c4 or some sticky explosive with a clacker and be able to stick them to the doors that you have been working on. With this player could create breach and clear scenes.
If you like break forward revolvers/ multi barreled weapons, I highly advise you look up the Lancaster Howdah pistol, and Webley Auto revolver if you don't know about it already. Super weird and cool turn of the century design, and both are weapons in BF1. The howdah has "Sweeper" shells too. Amazing work as always Anton.

Just because simple mode or no targets mode is "cheesy" doesn't mean that it isn't exactly what I've wanted for a long time. Thank you much!
The ropes and climbing make me really really hopeful for a future sniper dedicated mode. I know I've posted this on the reddit twice, discord once and here once but I feel it could be a great thing especially with the new climbing. A mode for snipers where you are given a target and a picture showing what the meat is wearing and you have to use a sniper to take them out. And maybe sub modes of this like shooting a hostage taker, shooting rots while they attempt to attack people, holding out against cops/military. Maybe some sit still and some move around in buildings and across streets and stuff. Almost like a Meatman (Hitman)
I'd love to see something on the Northest Dakota map akin to rottweiners where you've got plenty of enemies scattered around the map or that come in waves so you can just enjoy taking em out from a high point like during holds with watchtowers and such
