Quick suggestion would have been to install Dynamat between the plywood sheets and the cage on the ceiling and sides. Imagine the sound control that would have been.

Worst purchase was a Rockville 12" subwoofer. On an amp that was rated for it. Blew it faster then a boss subwoofer that was second hand. Best purchase was a Kicker L7 QClass 15" with a 1200 watt RMS kicker amp and built a custom box tuned @ 29Hz and she bangs hard.
On a related thought, if any car hits this van, it is going to be insta-totalled! Just the sheer mass of all the steel and wood that EXO has added is going to be a big factor and he is just getting started... Fred

I bet it will last another five or ten years, and it has helped me through my whole degree. My worst purchase.. this is a hard one. I guess it would be my 2001 Volvo XC70 with 215k miles for $1700. It has thrown a lot of issues on me, but it is an old car in good condition and the issues are inexpensive ones, so I guess my worst purchase isn't bad at all. I'm just comparing it to my old Mitsubishis, and they have been quite reliable. I have my doubts that the transmission and turbo on the Volvo will live for long, but we'll see.
