I really like and appreciate your vids, you don't shy away from telling us what you're doing, how you're doing it, where you are and all the tips and tricks. Great video again. - Lou.
Congratulations on a great day! I love trolling on Watauga & S. Holston for lakers. I don’t think my stomach would ever forgive me if I turned those trout loose! 😂 Setting up a new yak for the tailwaters.
@@MichaelKaal-TriFisher have you ever fished Cedar Creek in Rural Retreat? I just came back from up there. No real monsters but most were 22”-24”. In the 5-7 lb range. Planning on going back in September. If you want to get together, and try it, let me know. I’m making the reservations for another trip this week. He stays booked up well in advance. It’s about an hour to get there. $70/day/fisherman. Rainbow, brown, brook, golden, & tiger trout.
What is an average price of a guide on Watauga Lake? I brought my kids out there on Saturday and we did some kayak fishing. Had some bites but ultimately we got skunked. It’s getting frustrating. Been out twice so far and fishing with artificial baits. We don’t get out much to fish but at this point I would love to hire a guide to get some knowledge of the lake. Primarily want to focus on smallmouth and largemouth.
I can’t speak specifically to each Guide, but a general rule would be $300- $600 depending on how many hours you book. I left George ‘s website in the description of the video. He may be able to help you.
We are currently running a special until this Friday for $250 for four hours of Fishing and then from memorial day weekend till the beginning of summer we are at our spring rate for $350 for five hours.
