    Another thing to point out is you can do this quality of restoration by yourself with having a family and home to take care of, and a full time job. Doing it in a two car garage with pretty basic tools. When my buddies complain they dont have time to work on their own cars i should direct them to your channel. Now get started on that GTO.

    I have a 69 Firebird I'm currently working on. I'm having trouble getting the headlight buckets and rubber spacer to meet up with the fenders. From my research it's apparently a common problem. I can't remember if you covered this in a previous video. If so please point it out. If not how about helping a lot of people out. Really appreciate all the instructional videos and they help a lot! Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    The more I watch the Trans Am’s the more I want one..problem, there’s a numbers matching 400 Firebird at a reasonable cost ($15 grand)...(California car so zero rust hardtop) now the problem original paint code is 72 and the car is orange...easy to make a driver. I’ll keep looking, as you know I have plenty to do.

    • @VinylVillageGarage
      @VinylVillageGarage  2 місяці тому +2

      Sounds reasonable to me. Not to mention I have one just like that. 400 4spd 72 paint code carrousel red. But it’s far from a California car, has some advanced rust issues the way I like them.

      Yes and no, I sold him the before car a few years ago, then we stayed in touch and worked out a deal to restore his car. This isn’t something I would want to do full time it really is a big project to do a car bumper to bumper. Now I could see myself doing parts of a resto for other people in the near future. I have two of my own cars and my dad’s car to complete first.
