This video was very interesting! However I would like to add that in Ryan Holiday's book "The Daily Stoic", he talks about how one shouldn't be miserable in advance. Moreover, Seneca says that “it’s ruinous for the soul to be anxious about the future and miserable in advance of misery, engulfed by anxiety that the things it desires might remain its own until the very end. For such a soul will never be at rest- by longing for things to come it will lose the ability to enjoy present things” Seneca, Moral Letters. Essentially the stories are saying that best case scenario, if the news of something that one is anxious and worried about comes out better than expected, the person has waited all that time with needless fear and anxiety. Worst case scenario, that person would have put themselves through that pain and misery twice. I find this part very fascinating because even though we have our fears and we should address them, there is a certain balance on the importance of whether or not we should pay it any mind, especially if it’s not within our control. Rather, we should enjoy the present moment and take things as they come if they are not within our control. This reminds me of a saying that says do not trust that they won’t hurt you but that you’ll be okay regardless.

Is religion not following another’s teaching of their own beliefs? Beliefs you cannot understand through yourself but by that of another? Thereby losing oneself in the midst of another’s mind. Further, are you truly in control of yourself when you are abiding by the parameters of another’s way of being? It seems the only way we are free is when we let go of all knowledge we’ve accumulated and contained, and release our total being into the space around us, without attachments or leanings on another’s thought process. Take what is said outside of your mind as a consideration, and build from within what makes the most sense for you. Otherwise, you stand to live through another’s way. Find your own way.
And when it comes to content sharing: share not what has already been thought and expressed and instead, understand through personal interpretation for yourself what has been thought/expressed and share your internal world with others.
In other words, I enjoy listening to these content videos, though they only express the former whilst neglecting new thought and ideas; hence, you are using others’ thoughts and ideas to gain views and profit. Try profiting off of your personal interpretations of what has already been said thousands of times.
