1 FPS Never Looked So Good...

- I recently found a modern low end graphics card that can do Ray Tracing, but it's safe to say the option should remain firmly OFF in any and all games...
Thanks for watching :) - Наука та технологія
Thats not gameplay thats a photo gallery
The PowerPoint experience
You just spam the screenshot button 😂
Technically that’s all a video is is a series of photos being presented at a predetermined rate
@@titaniac3037 we all know that
Playing the video at 5X speed makes it look playable.
when your frames per second ends up turning into seconds per frame
😁
Was legit thinking the same thing damn 😂😂
*Frames per minute
Frametime : > 3000ms
yea thats 3 seconds per frame lol
@@ariefnugraha243 3000ms? That's fast as hellium hell!

Cleanest RT ever. No motion blur at all.
Very true haha
No motion blur cause of the lack of motion 😂
@ukraine_supporter_777 u usually explain jokes after u Tell them and laugh at the same time? Stop doing that.
@@pR0ManiacS Ukraine_supporter_777 can say whatever they want. Besides, I told the joke.
Actually kinda interesting, I would have thought each frame would be a smeary mess
Im amazed Cyberpunk waited patiently for the gpu to render each frame without crashing or locking up
Haha yeah it took a while to load to but it got there
FSR 2.1 ultra preset went from 0.5 fps to ONE, which means the performance was doubled. Wow very impressive, much more playable now.
100% improvement can’t complain
omg ICANT
with fsr 3 that could be 3 entire fps( with the latency of one fps)!!!!!!!!!!!
FSR 2.1 Frame generation confirmed
In this case the "F" in FPS stands for Frame. Singular
It's still a nice 60. Oh 60 what you may ask? 60 FPM.
Wait that still doesn't make sense, should it more like Here FPS stands for frames per slide
More like SPF (seconds per frame)
3600 FPH 💪
Fucks per second
Alan wake me up inside and save me was the best quote ever
that’s what I thought lol
Wake me up before you go go... the next week.

lmao dude, that's was a good one 😂
haha
I emulate games with microsoft powerpoint
It's so good to see how PowerPoint presentations have improved
I love that you try these things!
It’s always fun to try to be honest haha
Fsr in cyberpunk gave it a 600% boost, what a beast
Let us all be honest, 20 years ago doing 3d stuff with as much detail as Cyberpunk would have taken hours, if you were lucky enough to render at 1920x1080 or higher resolutions. This is still insanely impressive for such a low end graphics card today. But it is mind blowing what we do in real time now looks better than some CG movies from even just 10 years ago, and getting closer to what we do now in full CG movies. And I mean that as in, on at home, PC hardware.
When you compare a game like Ratchet & Clank with Toy Story 3, you have to applaud developers for this. I have never watched Beowulf but I'd like to take a look at it and pit it against the most realistic looking games out there. Unfortunately, development costs also rose up quite dramatically.
Coming from a place where a raytraced frame could take days to compute, this really is quite impressive (from a certain point of view).
Nice PowerPoint presentation fam
Thanks mate 😁
"I've never seen 0 frames per second before, but there's a first time for everything." 😆
"Alan Wake me up inside and save me" 🤣
The jokes all had me lol. Great video as per usual
Thanks, glad you liked them 😁
found it's limits and proceeded to push it beyond its limits.
I thought you edited with DaVinci, not PowerPoint, but those slides sure look good!
😂
I've been watching this dude from the start and I have to say, I subbed because of the jokes that are about as subtle as a house brick dropped on your foot and the time I spent watching has been worth every min.
AMD can officially say FSR 2 triples FPS 💀💀
Ah yes the power point presentation gameplay
Bro. Never change. This channel and your content has the ability to make me smile even, when i'm in a shit mood. Seriously, thank you. I needed it!
This is fascinating, thank you for making this video I was actually curious! :)
Well, now you have to overclock it to get an extra 1 fps
I love your videos brother, doing benchmarks with hardware no one else will! This particular case is almost comedic when it comes to the performance, but at least we know what to expect from this card! 😂
Wow, i haven't seen a game ran at 2 SPF (seconds per frame) for ages, nice!
Love your channel for that kind of videos 😁
The famed dry British humor was on perfect display here. Delivery was on point! :D
Still more FPS than my school's PCs
You got people saying 60 or 144fps is the way to go, but when it’s going at 3 you can truly appreciate the beauty.
That you actually thought that this was worth trying worries me!! Your videos are always worth watching, sometimes for the wrong reasons too....
😁
These kind of videos really bring me back to my experience with pc gaming in the 90s. I was so happy when I convinced my mom to do a modest upgrade on our aging family pc that allowed me to run Quake at 10-15 fps lol
Gonna take Steam screenshots with this thing to fool all my friends into thinking that I've got an absolute beast of a gaming PC
I love your creativity when it comes to videos 🔥
You always have such great ideas for videos.
The first time I had Need for Speed 2, I waited a few minutes for camera to move to the car, once it went into a cockpit, the game stopped moving. I didn't know what computer I had but I think it could have been 386 or 486.
This was the funniest video you ever did, keep them coming, a day without a laugh is a day wasted!
you all joke, but this brings back childhood memories of having a real garbage pc back in the day. a good reminder of my roots lol
That's a realtime blender renderer right there
when you spam f12 every second i guess
Steve, taking the "Powerpoint slideshow gaming experience" pain so we don't have to. Thanks mate! :)
This might be the funniest of the videos you made out there, whoever allowed this card to RT has no idea of the meme potential he just allowed 🤣
thanks for that powerpoint presentation :D
"HL2.EXE is not responding" Man... I did not know the executable for Portal 2 was H L 2 . E X E
Always has been
Same for TF2 as well I believe
That was Portal RTX, not Portal 2.
Well all Valve games are all technically just a mod of Half Life 2
@@Chillacee Going back further, the Source engine is based on Half Life 1's code, which is based on Quake.
i loved this slideshow. your hired.
Should’ve released a few days later for April fools. As a former GT 710 user, I appreciate the focus on an older low vram card!
"Waiting a fortnight" Good one 😂
i used to do RT back in the 90's using a dos program called POV which still exists to this day, this was on a 486DX2 66MHZ, some glass balls , a light , 1 FPS you say, try 1 frame rendered in an hour if you are lucky.
1FPH
coming from those early days the fact RT can be done Realtime is still amazing
that little thing can run portal rtx and my gtx 1660 cant
Xd
It's a beautiful day when stressing over FPS turns into fits of the old adage FFS..... Awesome content mate!
Those screenshots are crazy. Can’t wait to play the real thing when it launches
Waiting for the next frame isn't gaming... Amazing you found the patients to do this
Patience?
@@LukeTheJoker patience yes.
Oh I see, it was a typo.
Thanks
rest in peace everyone who choked at 'alan wake me up inside and save me'
You spoiled it for me
When I built my first PC back in 1997, CPU's never had iGPU's in them. Motherboards occasionally had an on-board GPU, but if not, you had to have a GPU of some kind, just to have a place to plug in a monitor. Computers for productivity applications often used something like an S3 Virge card for that purpose. But today, more CPU's than not have iGPU's, and many of those are capable of gaming at low to medium settings at 1080p - provided you use them on a motherboard with the appropriate connectors. So my question is, why, in 2024, is a GPU being made and sold that is slower than any current-production iGPU?
The biggest advantage of a GPU like this is the multi monitor support. Having more than 1 video output on a motherboard is really rare, especially on budget motherboards where those cards end up being used.
Not every CPU has an iGPU. This is for example true with Threadrippers; a beast for CPU-intensive tasks for workstation PC's, but you still need something to output the video signal. Also keep in mind that this video showcases its raytracing performance. It can probably do rasterization a bit better.
The upcoming HP t755 thin client can be had with one of these - it comes with integrated graphics, but you can get an RX 6300 in it if you want more monitors. The t740 used an Embedded Radeon E9173 for the same reason. Neither one has any reason to do 3D, so these cards do just fine.
There's also hardware that doesn't have an iGPU in the first place. Sometimes you just need *some* kind of video output for the lowest cost possible.
Yeah was mostly those horrible SIS or VIA chips onboard with 8mb of ram
@@chillhour6155 Eight? Usually 2 or four. They worked fine for what they were made for.
I love this type of tests because they are full of surprises
Killing it with the puns, my dude. XD
Always nice to see a good old fashioned shitpost video from you.
Thanks for finally testing Minecraft RTX, and really Minecraft in general. This is really the only game I'm going to play with ray tracing enabled and I'm glad to see it in this test. Most people don't know how demanding Minecraft can be, especially Java edition. Having a good dedicated GPU (And a good CPU, you don't want to bottleneck the system!) is essential for playing Minecraft and makes the experience much better.
I recall how back when the RTX 2060 was new Digital Foundry did a video investigating if it was fast enough to handle RT going forward. Little did we know how low the performance floor would be for RT-capable GPUs.
"Coffee World" sounds like a theme park I wouldn't mind going to. :)
1:04 "the game crashed on this 2 GIGABYTE BEAST" 🤣
It's actually supposed to be like that, it means your experience will last way longer, think about it. Epic card!
The amount of patience required to "run" these tests is something that I can't even imagine lol
The fact you can take fucking RTX screenshots with this old card is still mindboggling
"Hello, I would like to return my burnt Nintendo Switch."
0:56 That one came from downtown loool. good one 😂
wow new PowerPoint Presentation??? Cool!
0% res scale on Fortnite does nothing, but 1% does work, and it’s truly an experience
What a coincidence. I spent the whole weekend troubled shutting Horizon Zero Dawn on my RX 7900XTX, because I was having the exact same cinematic experience.
1 whole FPS.
came for the RT stayed for the puns
Yay, another one! One cheap old GPU I'd love to see is the Radeon x1650 Pro, looks like they can be had for $10-30. It's the first custom PC part I ever bought for my first build back in about 2006-2007 so I could play Crysis- it got 20-25 fps on all low settings, which to me was playable back then... I remember overclocking the thing and making my own custom heat sink from some other hardware (I think maybe an old Pentium CPU cooler- they were big)- had it zip tied on with a regular case fan ziptied on to that and it worked- only the software and my ignorance kept me from overclocking it more. Good memories!
I've got an AGP variant of this card, I wonder if I'll build some oldschool XP thing around it someday - I remember it didn't really amount to much in any game past like 2007, but I still have fond memories of it, haha
I would have never, not in a million years, have imagined that quake 2 will be a benchmark title in 2024.
Well, the rtx quake works on a pentium 4, so.
Lower framerate makes you appreciate the beauty of a frame even more. Not only that, but it forces you to have more methodical mouse movements rather than apm adhd style. Some might apprecieate that change of pace
Damn good screen shots
I love the picture slideshow 😂
😁
This is how I played cs source with integrated graphics mid 2000. Looking at ground helped to turn a slideshow into stop motion.
The puns today were on point! 😂
Came for the title stayed for the puns
The fact that it worked at all actual speaks volumes.
0:46 that's a 100% increase!
Hold on. I had no idea such card existed ! I would love to get one as my current desktop now refuses to boot after a BIOS update. A lot of people think this is because secure boot is now turned on by default and apparently, older GPUs do not handle that very well (I still run a R9 390). Doesn't look costly and may always come in handy.
2:17 reminds me of younger me insisting on playing minecraft with shaders on my ""gaming"" laptop from 2010
I'm really surprised Quake RTX ran so good with the resolution scaling, that was a real outlier in the PowerPoint-lineup today
Bro the puns were strong in this one 😅
finally something i can relate my laptop to
This does make me wonder, if RT might work on a something less demanding. I play a game called Kingdom, which, graphically, might run on an old Amiga, or an old VGA setup. CPU heavy. Looks nice on a CRT, btw. Does have a nice night and day cycle, which has me wondering, if RTX enabled Kingdom might actually run on this graphics card. It's a pity RTX isn't just a setting like full screen AA.
Damn, the puns in this video are on another level :D
How did you run rtx on it? I can't even do it on my Rx580 :( Does the 6300 have an RT core?
Wow 😅 right 🎉 and good work mate 😂
what do you think of the arc 310 low profile
Never mind the 1 FPS, I wanna hear the fan going absolute ham.
how that one homie is gaming:
I liked watching this, makes me appreciate my gpu more
my first pc was a 256 mhz cpu, 6 mb gpu memory with 128 mb of ram and a whopping 80 gigs and 5600 rpm hard drive, it ran cs 1.6 poorly but i really enjoyed it because it was my first pc which i received far later than my peers kinda learnt a lot of stuff on it tbh, looking back at it i am kinda disappointed that i threw it away, it would've been a perfect machine for retro gaming plus the sentimental value it had ...
0:58 made me laugh out loud, well said xD
The puns are everything😂😂
Oh that's how websites get those review screenshots
The card can produce a piece of art as displayed when using FSR 2 on The Witcher 3, now the game looks like a classic oil painting
Remember when we'd see something at this framerate, with worse graphics, and still go "woah, this is amazing"
