    This just popped up on my feed (thanks, algo!) And it's probably the best Ti2 sound design video I've found to date. I've been missing the delayed LFO ever since i sold my first synth, the mighty Juno-6 and i had no idea the Virus could do it, so thank you! Joining the chorus here for a call for more of this, please!

  • @bjornb8986
    @bjornb8986 Рік тому

    Danke Martin. Ich habe das ganze mal versucht in Hive 2 nachzubauen und bin natürlich zu etwas anderen, aber dafür nicht weniger interessanten Resultaten gekommen. Es zeigt sich mal wieder - man muss sich einfach Zeit nehmen und kreativ werden. Mit Modulationen kann man den Sound soviel interessanter gestalten! Und man kommt auf neue Ideen. Ich glaube in Hive kann man den LFO leider nicht anschwellen lassen, also hab ich wiederum den LFO mit einer Hüllkurve (Function) gesteuert. Funktioniert ebenfalls sehr gut und im Prinzip ergeben sich dadurch weitere Möglichkeiten. Danke für deine bereichernden Videos.

    • @MartinStuertzer
      @MartinStuertzer  Рік тому +1

      Ich hatte auch überlegt, den gleichen Sound noch mit einem anderen Synthesizer zu bauen. Die Fade In Funktion haben nicht viele Synths, aber so wie du es beschrieben hast kann man es auch lösen. Ich hatte bei dem Sound auch erst diese Idee, bis mir auffiel, dass der dritte LFO diese Funktion hat!

    i repeated the same patch on my novation peak . i only had to dive inti the matrix twice to adjust pan and fm . everything else could be done from the board and FM coud be replaced by shaping on the board of synth.

    Moin Martin! Schöne introduction. Kaum glaubbar, dass du deinen erster Synth erst 2004 hattest ;-) Dafür hat sich seit dem einiges angesammelt 🙂 An diesem Video ist schön zu sehen, dass am Ende das Gesamt-Ensemble an Sounds und Melodien deine Musik ausmacht, weswegen es mir wohl auch so gut gefällt 👌
    Wenn du so ein Video nun noch mit einem Hydrasynth machen könntest 😉🙃 Da würde ich sicher noch viel neues erfahren.

    Hi Martin and thanks for this detailed sound design tutorial. I'm close to buying either a Ti2 Polar or desktop but have held-back because of the many reported issues with the Virus's Editor and its inability to send Audio over USB to and from Ableton when running the latest versions of MacOS. So, can I ask please, if you're using MacOS how you've been able to work around this. Thanks.

    • @MartinStuertzer

    • @user-ny7el1sp6h
      @user-ny7el1sp6h Рік тому

      The filter envelope is actually just a regular envelope like the others available, except there are parameter knobs already tied to it without having to set it up in the matrix. From the top of my head, it is the FM of oscillator 2 and 'amount' of filter 1.
