I've been on TRT ever since and getting the correct dose is a challenge. I'm just barely into the lower end the T level chart but end up with a high Hematocrit level, usually over 51. I have phlebotomy monthly to help treat that side effect. Just a pain in the ass to have the condition. Oh well. I'm alive.
I'm an old guy with the opposite problem. I have all kinds of desire, but as an old guy...well...what good is desire when you have no one to give it to?
My total T is fine, but my free T is always out of range low. I’ve tried a number of supplements to correct this and nothing works. Are there any medications that can help with this?
You need your doctor to assess if it's low via a blood test. If it is low, then your doctor will discuss with you the options, most of which were mentioned in the earlier reply. I use Human Chorionic Gonadotropin.

Have you ever had a sleep study performed? Sleep apnea can contribute to poor hematocrit levels...it did with me..

I had seminoma and teratoma in the same testicle and had that removed.
I'm 46 and have all those symptoms, and yet my insurance still denied my coverage for testosterone injections. If I don't qualify, then who does?

I just turned 70. Even though boron did not help with my free testosterone, I’ve read that it serves as a benefit for prostate health.

What's considered low T and for what age group ? I'm 61 yo , my levels are at 749 and I have those symptoms. should men in their 60's be at 1000 ?
I think the low level is under 300

Check mayo. Think it was something less than 250 or free less than 7
