Fishing Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake

I recently found out that anglers can rent aluminum jon boats through Bill Frederick Park at Turkey, so I decided to check it out and fish on of the "Fab Five" lakes/ponds in Orlando, FL. It was a tough bite early on in the day, but picked up offshore later in the morning. Hope you all enjoy the video! Don't forget to like and subscribe for more content coming soon this summer. Imma be there in a week on turkey lake and never been, any suggestions for this time of year on it? And also would you know if they are on beds yet or not

As of right now I have not seen any on beds, they have typical pre-spawning behavior currently. The first attractors are a great place to start looking for bass. Many of the attractors are in about 8-12 feet of water and will probably have fish stocked up on them getting ready to move up shallow for the spawn in late February. As far as baits, I would go with some type of shad imitation like jerkbaits, small swimbaits, and crankbaits. If there is light or no wind, bigger Texas-rigged worms work really well.
