I'm not sure what I enjoyed more. The cars or the owner. What a wonderful and kind man. I love that some of his cars are modified and that he has zero issues with that. In fact, he seems to encourage it. Love it.
Wow wicked cars here. The 914 brings me back to 1971 as a kid on my paper route I would always stop by the VW dealership and look at the 914’s thru the glass. 😎👍🇨🇦
914 always represented Porsche to me as a kid in the 70's too. ...Just pure function when so many other cars became bloated broughams or cartoonish sticker-mobiles. Lots of 914s then in Tacoma from Tom Carsten's Autohaus.
Your 1963 Morgan DHC [BRG] nearly pancaked this Arizona Ol' Fuss to the floor. My wife and I may very well have been the original owners of this car delivered at the London dealer in August 1963. If memory serves, there were only two '63 BRG Drop heads built in 1963. Ours did have a driving light and a very special chrome luggage rack. IF yours has a custom knurled brass accelerator roller, it will indeed be our car. Many Great Drives were enjoyed owning this Morgan during our six years living in Europe.
Great stuff! Especially the sleepers: 230 HP 356 and 500 HP 914. Everything is better with more HP... What a challenge to wake up every day and have to choose which one of these puppies to drive.
A 914 with 500hp???? I can't imagine. Kudos for a beautiful garage (are there any ugly garages in Carmel?)...and for having a collection that is DRIVEN!
Fantastic collection! Anytime I see someone who’s collected like this I’m always curious how they succeeded in life to afford it. This fellow clearly knows how to enjoy his success.
yes, congrats on his success. 7-1-2021, the home is a DREAM come true too. carmel - carmel valley. check it out online before it sells. the cars were shown - but not promoted or expanded upon - in the photo shoot!
Amazing Car Collection Background Music is too loud !!! Trying to watch video quietly And music is so loud i can hear him talk about the cars Can’t turn up the volume as others are sleeping Maybe keep the music out of the videos???
Seems to be a few guys commenting on here that aren't true car guys. They sound like a bunch of whining babies. What a great video this is and some nice cars and pickup trucks.
It should be said that certain vehicles can stir your soul, certainly they all look very nice but none of those cars really call to me like some of the cars from the eighties and nineties.
But not the first ute though,Because model A's with ute body work were available in Australia . I'd be guessing but I would say that is a Ute conversion. Hundreds were built from older cars in Australia right up to the 1950's as coach building was big industry for decades. I have worked on Uted cars going back to the 1900's and the standard of workman ship varied from rough as guts efforts by a farmer with an axe ,to examples like the 32 Ford which were of a higher quality that the factory efforts.
I love your youtube channel, but you have to make better shots of the cars, you didn't film interiors, the engines, in some cars you didn't take a detail front part, in others the rear part etc. Thanks for your channel 👍👍
Chrome and very reflective paint are unforgiving as far as revealing the camera crew movements are concerned [2:23 - 2:34]. If you think a fixed camera angle might work, it's probably best to use another static angle as your backup/second camera rather than relying on a panning shot that is easily discerned. Regardless, the hard exposure adjustment at 2:38 is just unforgivable. Exposure shouldn't jump like that; it's highly distracting and should never have made it to the final edit.
What a beautiful collection. Glad that Ron must drive most of them, since they're all fun to drive. Beats working at SecPac!

Wonderful cars and the house is insanely cool.
Appreciate you sharing with us! Beautiful collection!
So many hidden gems in the Monterey Bay area. Looking forward to car week!
Wow, Ron, what an amazing collection!
Thank you Petersen Automotive for bringing this to us, love it! ;)
More to come! We publish every weekend ;)
Wonderful collection. Thank you sharing both your cars and your passion for design and engineering.
Beautiful collection ! ❤️

Ron seems pretty chill. I like his taste in cars.
Absolutely the finest Devon I've ever seen.
A perfect blend of beautifully restored and tastefully modded classic cars! Fabulous collection.
That Porsche is a delight
Which Porsche? The 356, the 912, or the 914.
@@tracylemme1375 356
@@BlueHopi144 That one's scary. It's got about 250 HP and a swing axle. I'd be surprised if I found it fun to drive.

The one parked outside.

Ron is a Hot Rodder 👍. Every car has flawless paint; wow! Love the 914 w 500hp and how stock it looks; sleeper! 😎
Thanks for sharing such a cool collection! Love that ‘32 Ford
We need to see the engine of that sleeper 914!
5 inch engine hatch. 914 was always on the rack for viewing the 4 or 6 cyl.
Beautiful collection
Great garage Ron
Thanks for the tour
Thanks for watching!
Great collection, I love the 356!! He loves his Resto-mods!! 👌🏼
We are only custodians to theses fine cars , they will surpass many people’s lives....beautiful collection
Thanks for sharing, another impressive collection.
Love the ‘32 roadster......a really different, one of a kind result with the body sectioning.
As I'm looking at that garage, I hear 'Bueller! Bueller!'.
Envy!, that’s right I totally envy your collection Ron. Damnit I should have gone to college. Seriously a wonderful collection.
Amazing collection, heartfelt memories, thank you Ron & Petersen!
What a wonderful, eclectic collection. And an Aussie ute - sweet! Thanks, Petersen. Love your videos.
Glad you like them!
@@PetersenMuseum Would be great to fly over and visit your Museum from Sydney once COVID restrictions ease.
Glad you've made a nice place for your collection up there. I miss your old haunt in Pasadena.

That’s a car collection, not brand specific, just a nice group of all around cars. Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
Thanks for sharing Enjoy EveryDay!

Looks like a typical exploiter of the proletariat. Carmel's lousy with them.

5:33 "..beefed-up the breaks a bit, not enough..." LOLOL
Those 2 sleeper Porsche cars 914/356..FAR OUT MAN! Great collection.

5:25 oh, just a 914. Wait, you have what engine in that? Haha 🤯
Great collection for a real car guy. Not just a rich guy.
We are all be going insane, after 70 years old. We!ll all become a museum; Lol!
Great video, music sounds like he’s gonna get murdered or Nancy Drew is gonna solve a mystery!
Amazing Car Collection

The 914 is the cats meow.
some nice porsches
Nice collection of cars. Entertaining except for the bubble gum background muzak. Shoot the sound man!
A Subaru engine in a Porsche? Brilliant,
I love that Woody.
Exceptionally tasty group.
Take a shot every time he says fun
Homer drool status, wow, thank you for sharing
one question: do you know John Frinkle from Pacific Groove? My Cousin in law. Very aficionado to vintage cars

Good way to spend your money, thanks for saving these cars. What's the annoying noise in the background?
I like the 914
I lv them all but the vette is my favorite. Jesus loves you all

Where's Beuller?
My girlfriends. Nice. Which one? Go get em pops
Nice variety but a classic Mercedes-Benz is needed to complete the collection.
Great, an enthusiast who modifies his cars his for his interest and enjoyment with little if any concern about the opinions of others!
“Stuff that I did” = stuff I paid someone to do
The first ford ute was released in 1934 and did not look like that pickup.

it's good to have money
A stock 32 hard to drive? Leave them alone and return them to the way they were built. Enjoy them for what they are. Old cars......
No longer a secret
Loved the cars, HATED the music.
That first car was serious clickbait
Stop the music please🤔
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼. Well up to Ron. The music is extremely annoying though
Couldn’t watch beyond 6:25 due to the background music 🤦🏻♂️
first
the lip smacking is obnoxious lol. amazong cars though
The sucking of teeth in this video make it hard to watch.
Cars need to be driven not standing still.. stop cleaning and get them back on the open road .
Sounds like he's got a lose tappet with the constant lip smacking.
