Hi everyone beware there’s a fake account using my profile picture and name responding to comments. I’ve reported them but just be wary. Do not get social engineered! ❤
One of the few songs written by Midori (blond guitarist) She wrote this as sort of a gift to everyone during Covid. About the outfits, when Lovebites was touring Europe as the opening act for Dragonforce, a French metal mag interviewed Asami (singer) about their costumes, her response, "We're girls, we don't want to dress as boys. Also, we are all small and the white and gold makes it easier to see us on stage." And the are SMALL, Haruna (drums) is only 4' 9" 144 cm. The tallest, Miyako is 5' 2" 157 cm but with their new bassist, Fami, she is the tallest at 5' 2 1/2" 158 cm. Also, the "church" is a wedding chapel in Tokyo and several bands have shot videos at that location.
nice to see you jump right back in to watch the queens of metal. i just subscribed to your channel as will a lot of lovebites fans. i still say do the live versions of songs. have a great day and happy new year to you!!!

Welcome to the Wolf Pack !!!🐺🐺🐺The Members of Lovebites called themselves the Lone wolf of heavy metal, Each album features the image of a wolf on the cover. So naturally, The fan base has adopted the wolf pack as their name. Asami - vocals Midori - Guitars Miyako - Guitars Piano Fami - Bass (New as of 2022) Haruna - Drums Miho - (Original Bassist, Founding Member in this Video - left 2021)
LOVEBITES - Glory to the World lyrics & credits: Everything around us will fall into dark When you keep on looking into the sadness Nobody in this world may ever be free My hearts will shiver and I can't take deep breath But rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify The dawn will come and bring the light in this world Grace to my heart, Hallelujah I know you really care for me So I leave everything in your hands You'd walk with me all the way Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me Standing in nowhere and searching for meanings A sleepless night haunting us like a shadow A blur in the future, the fear of unknown There will come a time where we can leave everything behind Breeze are running through the land and endless to the sky Together we will make it through this deep night Grace to my heart, Hallelujah I know you really care for me So I leave everything in your hands You'd walk with me all the way Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me SOLO: midori / miyako / both And rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify The dawn will come and bring the light and lead us to a new world Grace to my heart, Hallelujah I know you really care for me So I leave everything in your hands You'd walk with me all the way Learning to love yourself It is the greatest love of all Wherever you go, this world that we breathe together, Nothing more precious ----- lyrics: asami music: midori & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) album: Glory, Glory To The World 03/10/2021 -----
I just commented on yesterday's "Holy War" reaction about how that song seems to be every reaction channel's first Lovebites song. Well, this song/video right here was *my* first exposure to Lovebites, and I've been hooked ever since. As a bass guitarist, my initial "mind blown" moment was seeing Miho playing bass at this tempo *with her fingers*. Most metal bassists who play at these speeds use a pick.
Happy new year. I subscribe to your channel because of your Lovebites reaction. I am a 50 year old metalhead from Greece and i love this band. I haven't heard so much talent, skills and musicianship since the 80's. They are even better live.
Asami along with Floor are my favorite female led vocalists. At 4' 10" Asami has a pair of Floor lungs the way she belts out over the insanely talented music being played behind her. I have to admit a duet with Asami and Floor would be a visual riot to behold but a brain melting event to experience. BTW Haruna/drums is only 4' 9" yet she is a demon on that massive kit much like Kai is for Nightwish. This is a Midori song to give hope during the COVID period that really derailed the band's world tour. It was shot in a chapel that many Japanese bands have used for their music videos. Everything this band does is with total class and respect by musicians who are dedicated to each other, their music and their fanbase (Wolfpack). They bring, grace, humility, insane talent and a unique metal sound that we can't get enough of.
Btw.: here you can see good how tiny she is when she is on stage with Lzzy Hale (who is also only 1,73 so not a Floor who is over 1,80) : ua-cam.com/video/OCRaHKul8xY/v-deo.html
Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers, and Happy New Year! Many of LOVEBITES' lyrics metaphorically depict issues that cast a dark shadow over people, such as war, social unrest, and personal suffering, but they always end with courage and hope to move forward. Please come see their live performance and experience the positive power that the whole band exudes and the magnetism that ASAMI has that captivates the audience. BTW, you are already a Wolfpack member. As you go further, you will continue to be amazed by their musical diversity.
Mostly she just hasn't heared the "right" metal. Just give her some nice ballads from Epica or Nightwish and the e-songs form Lovebites to start with, and after a while she maybe also starts to like the harder stuff. Often its really just that people don't like growling / screaming.
I'm a Japanese viewer who always watches❗️ I liked your reaction and subscribed to this channel❗️ I will go to Zepp Fukuoka (2025/01/26) for the first live of the year❗️ It's in front of Midori in the front row of the 2nd floor seats❗️
This is one of my favorite songs from Lovebites, Overall it's a very good message, I love how Asami sings it. The guitars and drums are just spectacular in this song.
Virtually every LoveBites song contains a killer double guitar solo from Myako and Midori. One plays, the other plays, then they both play. The name LoveBites comes from the Halestorm song 'Love Bites(And So Do I)' that they say Asami sang at her audition. I guess they really liked that song, to name the band after it.
Words cannot describe how much I love them! So happy you found them and are exploring their songs! Their talent is unbelievable, and Asami's vocals are stellar. She is really mesmerizing on stage. She's had years of ballet training and the ice skating reference is apt - she floats around stage. Her crowd engagement is stellar too. You could choose anything to react to, as they don't have a bad song, but I think I'll recommend Set the World on Fire. That'll be a great song for after just saving the world with this one lol. ua-cam.com/video/99zsH6iG_6c/v-deo.html Happy New Year! Also, 100% You're part of the Wolfpack for sure! All that requires is loving them and being a fan, and you've accomplished that already (they got me really, really quickly too lol). The Wolf Pack comes from them their identifying with wolves and being a lone wolf in the industry.
I can't wait to see Dom's face when see see's Miyako play piano on Swan Song (with Chopin intro) and she will see how playing the guitar appears so easy for Miyako.
Glory to the World a good one to do for coming into the new year. Midori got the idea for this song after going to gospel churches in America and Asami wrote the lyrics to give people hope in a time of the pandemic. This song is off EP Glory, Glory to the World. Midori came up with the album title from the line "Glory, glory, hallelujah" in the song "Battle Hymn of the Republic". It became Glory, Glory, to the World in reference to the global pandemic. Midori and Miyako are the best guitar duo that I've seen in 40+ years of listening to rock/metal of hundreds of bands. Asami has been described as the female Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden). Wolfpack for the fans comes from the wolf, which appears on all but the band's debut release and it's s latest EP symbolizing that by playing the non-mainstream genre of heavy metal Lovebites are a "lone wolf" in the music scene. With your obvious love for Lovebites "The Metal Queens" as I call them, you are most definitely welcome into the Wolfpack. With 65+ songs in their discography to discover the adventure has just begun. Happy New Year.
Great reaction. I've subscribed to your channel. There are so many great all-female hard rock and metal bands in Japan, so I look forward to seeing more reactions.🤘
While the other band members were practicing their instruments in their kindergartens, Asami was studying ballet (@ hand movements) .. Japanese stuff .. 😅
Happy New year, thanks for the reaction to my favourite Metal Band love bites, you mention the movements from Asami , Asami is a fully trained Ballerina, you will see her with movements throughout their songs, you will find the hidden Talents of these girls as you progress through there song list, be prepared to be picking your jaw off the ground a lot lol , thanks from Tim from Australia 🦘 loved it
Great reactions. Now, you've got bitten by Lovebites and wanting for more. This is what happen to everybody. The live version even more mind-blowing. These gorgeous ladies really love to play live. Check it out. Thanks sis, happy new year 🎉🎇
Thank you for your reaction. 'Glory to the World' was written in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, Japan was in a very difficult situation. Including the fact that Japan has a very high population density. During the entire pandemic, about 34 million Japanese fell ill with Covid-19. Due to the declaration of a state of emergency by the Japanese government, additional mandatory various restrictions, the Japanese could not lead their usual way of life, people lost their jobs, life plans collapsed, etc. LOVEBITES composed this song in order to psychologically support their fans during a difficult time for everyone. With the help of this song, the ladies wanted to give people hope that dark times will pass, people will stop dying. Therefore, the Music Video (2021) includes the reincarnation of Jesus Christ in our time, stigmata, a large fiery Cross over Asami, singing Angels, etc. The MV was filmed in a Christian Chapel in the city of Yokogama.
🐺To understand where the name Wolf Pack came from, I advise you to look at the cover of the first Album of LOVEBITES 'Awakening from Abyss' (October 2017). The cover of the Album 'Awakening from Abyss' is the idea of the founder and leader of the band Miho (bass). The cover depicts the Goddess in a white dress, holding a white banner in her hands and the White Wolf. They are standing on the ruins of the old world. The Goddess is preparing to give life to the New World (the world of Heavy Metal). Your first reaction was to the song 'Holy War'. In this song, LOVEBITES call themselves the Warriors of the God of Heavy Metal, who must revive and protect 'old-school' heavy metal, giving it a modern sound. LOVEBITES position themselves as the Lone Wolf on the modern music scene. Why did ladies choose the Wolf as their mascot, what does the White Wolf mean in Japanese mythology, what is the connection between Wolves (which all became extinct in Japan as a biological species about 100 years ago), LOVEBITES and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, etc. - this is a separate story. On all the band's releases: EPs, Single, Albums, Live Albums, DVDs/Blu-rays, etc. (except for EPs 2017 and 2024), a Wolf or Wolves are depicted. Accordingly, the first fans that LOVEBITES had began to call themselves the Wolf Pack. P.S. I apologize, but try not to pause during the guitar solos. Then your impression of each LOVEBITES song will be even stronger. This is not criticism. 🤗This is just advice.🙏
You will see that the cover art for each LOVEBITES album features a lone wolf, representing the band’s status in world of Heavy Metal, which is dominated by Western men.
Happy New Year, best wishes and welcome to wolfpack :) You find Miyako and Midori impressive? Wait until Shadowmaker or Scream for Me or When Destinies Align. And Miyako hasnt started playing the piano yet..
Congrats on 10K. 🎉 From the EP, Glory Glory To The World, released in early 2021. It is the last studio release with original bassist, and band co founder, Miho. Yes, Asami is the lead singer, she wrote the lyrics to this song. Midori and Mao wrote the music. (Mao works with them a lot in composition, ex Lightbringer keyboardist) To help you learn the names: Asami lead vocals Midori guitar (blond pony tail) Miyako guitar/piano Haruna drums Miho, original bassist, left in 2021 Fami ,new bassist joined Oct 2022
Happy New Year to you, another stellar song by the Goddess's of metal.Really glad you're enjoying #Lovebites can't wait for your next reaction 😁 Regards Wolfpack 🐺 UK 🤘🎸🥁🎤🎹🎶🔥🤯🤘
Asami spent 16 years in classical ballet so that probably explains why she moves like that. I believe that the wolf they use as their logo/symbol is supposed to represent how they see themeselfes as the lonewolf of their style but I dont think its been officially explained. Happy new year!
Hello from Greece! This song was written by Midori during the pandemic, with lyrics from Asami. (Midori is the blonde guitarist, the other is called Miyako. The drummer is named Haruna and the bass player in that video was Miho, the co-founder of the band but she left and now they have a new bass player with the (nick)name Fami). The Wolfpack nickname is because they feature a lone wolf in all their album covers, even from their first album, because they are "lone wolves" as women in the metal scene, a scene that's dominated historically by men. In Japan the fans call them "White Wolves" but internationally the fanbase organically is called "Wolfpack". Welcome to the Wolfpack! I saw them live in July in Milan Italy, I am fan of the band from autumn 2017 and it was the first time watching them on state and I can tell you, they are impeccable. They are truly perfect. Enjoy the journey!
Hi Dominique Welcome back, and congrats on the 10 000 subs.. Easy for genuine reactors. Won't be long before you are up to 20 000.. Please react to A Frozen Serenade live... Can't wait to see your reaction to this song.. Best wishes for a fantastic New year.
Next up should be ‘Hammer of Wrath’ Live to introduce you to the most recent band member, the new bassist, Fami. Possibly the most smiley Bass player ever. Happy new year Dom.
Dear Metal Muse, thank you for reacting again to Lovebites!!! The reason why the Lovebites fans are called the Wolfpack is because Lovebites see themselves as a lone wolf in music in a sense they're the only new band that are playing traditional old school heavy metal...when Miho (the original bassist) started the band (with Haruna, the drummer) she wanted to play traditional heavy metal because she noticed no modern bands really played it anymore ...thus making them a lone wolf in metal ...and their mascot is a wolf, and is featured on all band's albums except the first EP "The Lovebites". Also, at the opening of the “Five Of A Kind” Live concert in Tokyo 2020, you can see 5 wolfs coming together to make the pentagram that symbolizes them individually coming together to make a whole...so the band is the "lone wolf" and we the fans are the Wolfpack because we follow them! I noticed that you have been “captivated” by Asami, the lead vocalist. Maybe you’ll like the notes below about her background. Before joining Lovebites in 2016, becoming a metal-singer, she was previously an RnB and Jazz singer (she has had vocal coaching), and she is also a trained (for a decade or so) ballet dancer, hence her fluid arm movements you could see and appreciate especially during live shows. Asami’s voice is a classic mezzo-soprano. She doesn’t have the top notes of a soprano, but she can easily drop down to the lower range of an alto when necessary. She could sing whatever she wants - opera, pop, jazz, rhythm and blues, you name it. Asami puts everything into every song. She said in an interview that she always sings as if it’s the last time she ever will. She is just 5'0" tall, but her presence on stage is absolutely noticeable: during the live shows she commands the crowd, even without saying a word (during the singing breaks). She is a power-house, with a lot of vocal stamina and one of the best lead-singer & front-women in the Metal scene these days!! Her nickname within the Wolfpack is: The One & Only Voice !!!
They actually just toured this past year. The one disappointment I have is they are not known well outside of Japan so they play at really small, but packed venues.
Agreed, attended their french live in small venue in Paris, but it was amazing and maybe more intimate. They also did big festivals in Europe with big audiences, you can get YT videos from their Hellfest performance in France.
They're even better live, so yes, they crush this one live, as with all their other songs. There's a live video of their 2021 performance of this out there you could check out, but here it is in the worst-case scenario - a small venue, limited sound capabilities, no post production, and recorded on a phone. Still sounds amazing. I was there, a little to the right of the camera, over in front of Miyako. Sounded amazing in person, and better and more powerful than this recording off of a phone, but its worth checking out. You have to see them live. Best shows I have ever seen in my life. ua-cam.com/video/SYU3d_eYIZ8/v-deo.html
japan is actually full of incredible female guitarists but the difference with LOVEBITES is that they have 2 virtuosos in the same band - make that 5 - every member is indispensable and an integral part of the band. the bassist here is miho rosana who formed the band with drummer haruna. she left the band in 2021 and when you view some of the later songs you will see new bassist fami. another virtuoso that fits the band perfectly. as many amazing japanese female bands that there are - a lot of them are close - but LOVEBITES rules them all - imo.
@@MaxMaidiac-h5y yeah i''m really getting into KOIAI lately. with vocalist kotono formerly of IRONBUNNY. there are so many amazing girl groups coming out of japan - i can't get enough. PALENEO and PARADOXX are 2 of the newer groups with 2 guitarists. just got the PALENEO cd and ordered the 'singularity ' cd from PARADOXX.
yes these Ladies are friggin amazing, here is a song you need to see, it will add to your experience, Swan Song with chopin Etude.....it's amazing as always ua-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/v-deo.html
You have been bitten, now you've entered the wolves den, prepare yourself for the ride of your life, they will shock you time after time, the talent in this band is insane, it is said, the only thing they are unable to do is make a bad song, I've seen them live and I can tell you that they are all that you see and hear, and when you are there you can't help but be mesmerised, enjoy your journey 🤘🎤🎹🎸🥁🐺🇬🇧Happy new year
I'm sure you'll get a full breakdown of the story behind this song and it's connection to Covid from others in the Wolfpack. The live is good as well. Keep up with the reactions well over 60 songs to hear yet. You're on the right track, singer Asami trained in ballet and dance (I recommend Frozen Serenade for some more of that), and originally she sang jazz/soul. The Lovebites name comes from the Halestorm song "Love Bites (So Do I)" (there are clips of Asami and Lizzie Hale on the web somewhere) This church is quite a popular one for recordings. Two other metal bands performing MVs there are Unlucky Morpheus "M Anthem" ua-cam.com/video/WoUzaVI0paY/v-deo.html (they've got a couple of female members) and Galneryus "Angel of Salvation" ua-cam.com/video/nsi9HEmZl9Y/v-deo.html (although Galneryus doing the full version live with an orchestra at Shibuya is a special treat).
Lovebites have no piers. All of them are amazing Miyako is from another planet. She is so amazing. Asami has a voice like an angel. Miho is abad ass bass player. Midori is the crazy shredder and fitness beast. Haruna the little big engine. The happiest drummer alive and has an incredible stamina. The all play in beautiful dresses and high heels. Ok Haruna has her epic red shoes but when she join the outer band members on stage she change to high heels. Great reaction. Keep on the good work. Love from Sweden and Have a Happy New year. ❤❤❤❤
There are religious symbolisms in this MV, but they are metaphorical. This song was released back in 2021 during the height of the pandemic and Asami (lead vocalist) mentioned in an interview that she wanted this track to be a gift of hope to humanity during extremely trying times. Lovebites have played this song LIVE many times and here is one version : ua-cam.com/video/6wlAh02Wom4/v-deo.html . Happy New Year !!
Nice reaction and Happy New Year! You are already in the Wolfpack and welcome! This song is awesome, so many great things going on as is the case with all of their songs. It takes some time to digest all they have to offer, enjoy your journey. 🤘🐺🤘

Congrats on 10k ! Glad you've found Lovebites - BTW they are even better live ( and thankfully there are plenty of high quality live performances on UA-cam to choose from ) . You'll get LOTS of suggestions for reactions - but TBH it really doesn't matter what you choose as they don't have a bad song in their repertoire 🤷♂ .The 2 songs you've done are both similar in style - but they are extremely versatile - if I was going to suggest something to do next it would either be - " Swan Song " with the Chopin Intro - ua-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/v-deo.html or " Frozen Serenade " - ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html just to give you a tiny taste of the variety they are capable of . There are a plethora of Japanese all female bands worth a listen - like - Band Maid , Nemophila , Gacharic Spin , Hagane , East Of Eden , Koiai , Doll$boxx , and that's just a very few - hopefully you'll give some of them a try in the future . ENJOY !
Hello from Maui. I subscribed after your first Lovebites reaction yesterday. Because I knew right away, that you are going to love them, and I don't want to miss a single one of your LB reactions. Wishing you love, light and health in the New Year and lots of jaw dropping Lovebites reactions.
👍Awesome performance. There are many layers to this MV. I like it because it gives more insight into their message. I also learn so much from the comments from the fan base: for instance, one pointed out how at the beginning YUI and MOA pull on SU’s Japanese costume and the next scene she is transformed into SU-METAL. 🦊 🖖❤
Good reaction. Happy New Year. Thanks for another reaction to my all time favorite band. Did see the first video of Lovebites end 2019. Fell immediately in love with them. 🐺🤘🔥❤️
This is just the Lovebites Quality SEAL, i suggest Frozen Serenade ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html , aso one of their Masterpieces.... you just discovered 5% Lovebites Can do. =D enjoy the ride and welcome to the wolfpack! the Wolf represent that they play a no-Mainstream music: Heavy Metal, they are a Lone Wolf in the Music Industry! full of Complicated but beautiful Tracks
This video production matches the complexity of the Song. This imo may be one the bands most Epic songs. It has it all Classical,Orchestral,Harmony,Fast Pace,Shred. Midori and Miyako play so well together it is seamless and Brilliant at the same time. No exception they never fail to Deliver Shock and Awe.
Lovebites was my favorite concert of 2024🎸 In a year that also included Babymetal and Atarashii Gakko! concerts😮 My Lovebites reaction suggestions would be “Judgement Day” (MV) and “Edge of the World” (official live). Plus, you will be introduced to Fami, the newest member of the band.
Coincidence that you had to sneeze right when the lyrics were "this world that we breathe together"? Probably not! 😄 Your feeling that the singer's name is Asami is correct. 😊 You could also go to Mexico, they have one festival slot there... But unfortunately, no telling when the next world tour may be, they're kind of infrequent. The name "Wolfpack" comes from the wolf they have on all their covers, which is supposed to represent that they play a minority genre, like a lone wolf. Let me see if I can come up with mnemonics for the other members... of which there is one more than seen here (because they have a new bassist now), and a hidden guest. The drummer is Haruna. That is because she is in a HURRY. (Ouch.) The guitarists are M&M, like those chocolate things. Actually, all three axe wielders in this video and up to 2021 have names that start with Mi-: Miho -- old bassist, in this video. Her bass has four strings, so naturally she has four letters to her name. The other two equally naturally have six letters, just like their strings. ;-) Midori -- guitarist, blonde Miyako -- guitarist/pianist/keyboardist, black hair Midori means "green". That is the opposite of what she is, she (or maybe Asami, we don't know her age) is the oldest member (36 at the time of writing). MiyAKo has blAK hair and is from OsAKa. I don't know if that helps... The new bassist is Fami, a very cute and very talented young lady who had her own UA-cam channel and had published her own debut EP already. Fami is a pseudonym, chosen surprisingly after Family Mart--a chain of convenience stores that she likes. Talk about customer loyalty. Anyway, she's now part of the FAMIly, since 2022. The secret guest is "omigod"... male! He's Mao (another M) who used to be in several metal bands and now mainly works as a composer and studio keyboard player. After Miho left, who was one of the main songwriters in the early days, about half of their songs is now typically contributed by Miyako, the other half by the Asami/Mao team. Haruna has written one song, Midori two and a half (of which this song here is coincidentally one!), Fami none as yet (for Lovebites, that is). NB Asami does not just write the lyrics, but co-writes the music as well--often their heavier, thrashy numbers. Not bad for a former RnB singer, is it? Someone's been bitten by the metal bug. Before she was asked to sing for Lovebites (on the strength of a demo tape that she had left with the record company), she had no experience with metal at all, but was a bar singer and rock background singer. BTW, she studied ballet when she grew up, that's where her grace comes from, I guess.
This link offered above is to a 1080p fan upload of the LIVE performance of "Glory To The World" taken from the Official LOVEBITES LIVE Blu-ray of their 2021 performance in Tokyo. It is an excellent "Pro" video & audio recording (though everything uploaded to UA-cam is a 'compressed' copy with diminished quality as compared to their Blu-rays, even the uploads to LOVEBITES own Official Channel).
Hello, Love your reaction, Lovebites music tends to make me feel happy and this song is no exception to that. one of the best performances by Asami. Yes you got her name right. I believe they named themselves Lovebites because of Asami used the Halestorm song [Love bites, so do I] as one of her demos. She was invited to sing on stage with Lzzy Hale back in 2019 for UK download festival.
Letras poderosas y ritmos freneticos, hemos encontrado de lo mejor hoy en dia en su estilo, musicos virtuosos y con mucho talento, bienvenida a la manada, saludos y feliz año
Happy New Year Dominique, and greetings from Sydney (Aussie Wolfpack reporting) 🇦🇺 I'm loving your reactions to our favourite ladies, and you've barely scratched the surface of the talent of this amazing band. Subscribed so I can follow your journey. 😎 As others have mentioned, the next step may be to check out their current lineup with their fabulous new bassist Fami (a decade younger than the rest of the band, she is our adopted Wolfcub!). I'd suggest The Hammer of Wrath, live 2023, on their official channel. This was also Fami's introductory live performance with the band, and the concert opening number. Not that you could tell, they all play flawlessly as usual. Cheers.
incase you didnt know the guitarist with the black hair is named Miyako and she is a Musical Savant if you want to see how good these 2 guitarists really are then try Lovebites Scream For Me daughters of the dawn live tokyo 2019, Lovebites Signs of Deliverance Live and Lovebites Rising Live trust you will be blown away please let me know what you think
With this one LOVEBITES take on the European Power metal, with (of course) a resounding success. The song was written by Midori, and she really made sure musically to pay homage to her heroes, from Yngwie Malmsteen to Kiko Loureiro! It did not hurt that the second part of the "M&M", Miyako, is also hugely influenced by the (Neo-)Classical music. :) LOVEBITES to this day retain their Power metal leanings in numerous songs, but you could hardly find two that are alike - the songwriting is too good. Better be prepared for them to change it up a lot, song to song (and often WITHIN a song), and expect the unexpected! "Glory to the World", obviously being an anthem, is pretty relentless all the way through, and Asami gets to sing in the upper registers almost for the duration. Still, the girls easily manage to achieve variety in the textures, rhythms and fills WITHOUT dropping any of the speed! Another special trait the band has is that they include the stylistic (and stylish) bits of homage to the earlier greats of Metal or Classical music, making for many exciting "Aha!" moments to a discerning fan. :) They are truly Five of a Kind, as per the title of one of their (best) Live shows. We expect to meet you more during the New year - it is in your eyes you are already part of the pack, and while your other reactions may temporarily suffer :)), LOVEBITES will be a gift that keeps on giving
Judging by reaction you are definitely part of the Wolfpack. The Wolfpack mainly comes from each album and live release having a wolf as cover art and from an interview Asami gave. They did a European tour in summer 2024 that included 2 shows in London in a 350 New Cross Inn and 600 The Garage capacity. Best shows I've been to in years. They are doing their 1st full Japan tour in Feb/March. Am hoping for a show but I think 2026 is more likely. I can't wait that long. For a change of pace i would suggest Frozen Serenade. Or if you want a high tempo Soldier Stands Solitarily. Thanks for the reaction and Happy New Year 🎉 15:41
Miyako has a solo ep with 6 covers on Piano Her idol Gary Moore The Loner/Another of her idols Ritchie Blackmore's Deep Purple Burn/Yngwie Malmsteen (Midori's Idol Blonde Guitarist) Far Beyond the sun/Lovebites Addicted/Metallica Battery/ and MV for Eagle Fly Free Helloween also covered by Lovebites also as a band, Other covers their namesake Love Bites (So Do I) Lzzy Hale Halestorm and Judas Priest Painkiller
I'm almost 62 now and since I found these ladies a year ago I listen to something from them everyday - I can't stop.🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥

LOVEBITES - Glory to the World lyrics & credits:
Everything around us will fall into dark
When you keep on looking into the sadness
Nobody in this world may ever be free
My hearts will shiver and I can't take deep breath
But rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify
The dawn will come and bring the light in this world
Grace to my heart, Hallelujah
I know you really care for me
So I leave everything in your hands
You'd walk with me all the way
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me
Standing in nowhere and searching for meanings
A sleepless night haunting us like a shadow
A blur in the future, the fear of unknown
There will come a time where we can leave everything behind
Breeze are running through the land and endless to the sky
Together we will make it through this deep night
Grace to my heart, Hallelujah
I know you really care for me
So I leave everything in your hands
You'd walk with me all the way
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
Time will come where we feel the love and the reason to be me
SOLO: midori / miyako / both
And rains will end, and nights will pass, griefs will purify
The dawn will come and bring the light and lead us to a new world
Grace to my heart, Hallelujah
I know you really care for me
So I leave everything in your hands
You'd walk with me all the way
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all
Wherever you go, this world that we breathe together,
Nothing more precious

This Song was written to give the World Hope through the Pandemic
Ah makes sense now! It’s so good!!!
@@themetalmuse 👍👍Yep, this MV is my favorite LOVEBITES performance🤗. 🖖❤
Happy new year!
Btw.: here you can see good how tiny she is when she is on stage with Lzzy Hale (who is also only 1,73 so not a Floor who is over 1,80) :

Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers, and Happy New Year!
Many of LOVEBITES' lyrics metaphorically depict issues that cast a dark shadow over people, such as war, social unrest, and personal suffering, but they always end with courage and hope to move forward.
Please come see their live performance and experience the positive power that the whole band exudes and the magnetism that ASAMI has that captivates the audience.
BTW, you are already a Wolfpack member. As you go further, you will continue to be amazed by their musical diversity.
The Vocalist Asami has studied Ballett for quite a while hence the graceful movements
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Metal Lady😓My mom likes this song eventhough she doesn't like metal music🤘Lovebites
Happy New Year 🥳
Mostly she just hasn't heared the "right" metal. Just give her some nice ballads from Epica or Nightwish and the e-songs form Lovebites to start with, and after a while she maybe also starts to like the harder stuff. Often its really just that people don't like growling / screaming.
I'm a Japanese viewer who always watches❗️
I liked your reaction and subscribed to this channel❗️
I will go to Zepp Fukuoka (2025/01/26) for the first live of the year❗️

This is one of my favorite songs from Lovebites, Overall it's a very good message, I love how Asami sings it. The guitars and drums are just spectacular in this song.
Agree. A great message of hope.
I love how Haruna spanks that cymbal like it owes her money.
Looks like we have a new member of the Wolfpack! The only thing crazier than this is seeing them do it live.
True story.
Happy to see a beautiful person reacting to a beautiful song. Thanks for choosing this song. It's a great song to start the new year with.
And here we have Lzzy Hale/Halestorm performing 'Love Bites(And So Do I)' with Asami as guest :
ua-cam.com/video/OCRaHKul8xY/v-deo.html
great reaction. I attended Asami's concert on December 15th and she was incredible. Happy New Year to everyone.
I don't know why but no matter how many times I hear this when she hits that note at the end and they start the whoa whoa's I always get choked up.
I can't wait to see Dom's face when see see's Miyako play piano on Swan Song (with Chopin intro) and she will see how playing the guitar appears so easy for Miyako.
Yes, yes, yes, Thanks and Cheers from Poland 🤗🥳🍾🥂😁

Great reaction on this banger song from the awesome Lovebites :) I wish you a Happy New year from Sweden! Take care and have a lovely day.
While the other band members were practicing their instruments in their kindergartens, Asami was studying ballet (@ hand movements)

great reaction 👏🎉 , more Lovebites , Happy New Year 🎊🎄🐱
Happy new year!!
You will see that the cover art for each LOVEBITES album features a lone wolf, representing the band’s status in world of Heavy Metal, which is dominated by Western men.
... Western men who like to cosplay as outlaw bikers.
Happy New Year, best wishes and welcome to wolfpack :)
You find Miyako and Midori impressive? Wait until Shadowmaker or Scream for Me or When Destinies Align. And Miyako hasnt started playing the piano yet..
They are possibly the best metal guitar duo or all time, or at least since Marty Friedman and Jason Becker from the band Cacophony in the late 1980s.
Great Reaction to our Ladies! Happy New Year to You too!
Great reaction thanks. This band brought me back to metal music after many years away.
LOVEBITES is a very, very special band.
Congrats on 10K. 🎉
From the EP, Glory Glory To The World, released in early 2021. It is the last studio release with original bassist, and band co founder, Miho.
Yes, Asami is the lead singer, she wrote the lyrics to this song. Midori and Mao wrote the music. (Mao works with them a lot in composition, ex Lightbringer keyboardist)
To help you learn the names:
Asami lead vocals
Midori guitar (blond pony tail)
Miyako guitar/piano
Haruna drums
Miho, original bassist, left in 2021
Fami ,new bassist joined Oct 2022
Another of their amazing catalog, thanks!! More please!!🤘
Happy New Year to you, another stellar song by the Goddess's of metal.Really glad you're enjoying #Lovebites can't wait for your next reaction 😁
Regards Wolfpack 🐺 UK 🤘🎸🥁🎤🎹🎶🔥🤯🤘
A happy new year! Thank you^^

KOIAI has Lisa X and Hazuki. Aldious has 2 guitarists, although I think they are on a break.
@@MaxMaidiac-h5y yeah i''m really getting into KOIAI lately. with vocalist kotono formerly of IRONBUNNY. there are so many amazing girl groups coming out of japan - i can't get enough.
The Lovebites name comes from the Halestorm song "Love Bites (So Do I)" (there are clips of Asami and Lizzie Hale on the web somewhere)
This church is quite a popular one for recordings.
It’s such a lovely looking venue! Someone said it was to do with hope during Covid & lockdown.
So much more to see/hear from these goddesses. Any suggestions you get will be incredible. They don't miss.
Rabbit hole engaged! They had two London shows in 2024 on their European tour. Not sure if they'll be back in 2025, but who knows at this stage

Glad you've found Lovebites - BTW they are even better live ( and thankfully there are plenty of high quality live performances on UA-cam to choose from ) . You'll get LOTS of suggestions for reactions - but TBH it really doesn't matter what you choose as they don't have a bad song in their repertoire 🤷♂ .The 2 songs you've done are both similar in style - but they are extremely versatile - if I was going to suggest something to do next it would either be -
" Swan Song " with the Chopin Intro - ua-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/v-deo.html
or
" Frozen Serenade " - ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html
just to give you a tiny taste of the variety they are capable of .
There are a plethora of Japanese all female bands worth a listen - like - Band Maid , Nemophila , Gacharic Spin , Hagane , East Of Eden , Koiai , Doll$boxx , and that's just a very few - hopefully you'll give some of them a try in the future .
ENJOY !
Happy New Year gorgeous. May the force be with you for ever.❤ Cheers from a finn in Sweden.
Lovebites was my favorite concert of 2024🎸 In a year that also included Babymetal and Atarashii Gakko! concerts😮
My Lovebites reaction suggestions would be “Judgement Day” (MV) and “Edge of the World” (official live).
Plus, you will be introduced to Fami, the newest member of the band.
Coincidence that you had to sneeze right when the lyrics were "this world that we breathe together"? Probably not! 😄
Your feeling that the singer's name is Asami is correct. 😊
You could also go to Mexico, they have one festival slot there...
(Ouch.)
The guitarists are M&M, like those chocolate things. Actually, all three axe wielders in this video and up to 2021 have names that start with Mi-:
Miho -- old bassist, in this video. Her bass has four strings, so naturally she has four letters to her name. The other two equally naturally have six letters, just like their strings. ;-)
Midori -- guitarist, blonde
Miyako -- guitarist/pianist/keyboardist, black hair
Midori means "green".
Hello Wolfpack wish you all a happy new year
Here is an unofficial live version of the song. You can't go wrong with Lovebites live. The best there is!

Love Lovebites 🐺🤘🏴 Gloriously good
Great reaction. Happy new year 2025 from AMSTERDAM

Yes, Asami is also a classical dancer...
Happy New Year Dominique, and greetings from Sydney (Aussie Wolfpack reporting) 🇦🇺
I'm loving your reactions to our favourite ladies, and you've barely scratched the surface of the talent of this amazing band. Subscribed so I can follow your journey. 😎
As others have mentioned, the next step may be to check out their current lineup with their fabulous new bassist Fami (a decade younger than the rest of the band, she is our adopted Wolfcub!).
Thanks for the suggestions!
