This feels like a higher level, Sarah. I hope that there are former Toyota engineers watching your work. You make the absolute best content of this type on this platform. Please make sure to rest (we'll wait) but don't stop.
Having custom exhaust built is truly a dying art. I ran/ worked in a custom shop for over 20 years. Built hundreds of one off systems. The quality of this man's work is definitely top tier. And to have a system built to that caliber with those materials is way beyond what the average consumer is expecting to pay. You certainly picked the right person to build that exhaust Sarah. Well done.
I have to rewatch this vid a few more times..........so much wonderful detail. As you said Sarah......this exhaust system is a work of art........👍 to Mr. Forrest. Hats off to those BBQ guys. Thanks to Charlie for stepping in.
Forrest did an amazing job on that exhaust system. Having worked in the aerospace industry for several decades, it's easy to see where his attention to detail comes from. Kudos to Charlie on the execution of the oil pan mod to clear the front sway bar.
Master Welder Forrest and Sarah collaborated to produce one of the top world class exhaust systems available on the planet. The cost of which is four times the initial retail cost of this little toy bubble. Money well spent.
Durometer rating, just like on my roller skate wheels from the 70s! I can’t stop 🛑, Sarah you always make jokes and here I go, “Sarah do you want to jump on it again” says the SpaceX welder. Just too funny, then watching you do it with such enthusiasm. This was my favorite video of yours so far.
Looking forward to your next t-shirt, with a picture of a propane torch: "It's the solution to almost everything in life. If you can't do it, burn it until you can. I don't know if that's actually something that you should live by, but it worked in this instance."
What a lovely cap to my day! Just found out that a year’s worth of work and two years of planning came to fruition. I’m a violin maker and just found out that I was awarded certificates of tone for a quartet and a viola I made in an international competition. This video was a cherry on top!
I scoffed somewhat when you said you couldn't do the welding on the exhaust to a high enough standard. Then I saw what Forrest produced. You were quite correct. The skills that some folks possess is just beyond comprehension. What a beautiful result.
Talk about a video chuck full of “shapes”… wow. Only true artists with OCD could engineer and produce that exhaust system… and I cannot imagine the cost. Fascinating project. Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍
It’s always a treat to see a true craftsman at work. The amount of thought that you both dedicated to the design and build really matches the care and effort Sarah put into this build. I really love this car. ❤
the overall fitment and quality of this rebuild is amazing. Sarah your attention to detail surpasses many a "Engineer" or "Designer's skills and or qualifications, you are amazing .......... Kido's and well done
Sarah, this car is gonna be SO BAD ASS!!!! I WANT THIS CAR! You have done a masterclass on this restomod. This is how it’s done. You go girl! Keep kicking ass 👍🏻
Love seeing a master of his craft. Forest is an exceptional welder. The oil pan Charlie came up with is awesome as usual. I’m gonna be kinda sad when this build is over.
This is one of the most impeccably built projects I have ever witnessed. The attention to detail and quality of the build, the attention to detail: they are truly mind blowing. Thank you for sharing and all your hard work, along with everyone that has helping you along the way. Amazing to watch.
Sarah you are a workaholic. It's not overthinking, rather it's attention to detail and planning your courrse of action. That exhaust looks like a work of art because it is. Seeing it in place it looks beautifully done.
That exhaust IS a work of art!! Very nice. The iterative process of designing an air box for the car is really cool, too. Thank you for another cool episode!!
Forrest is literally a Rocket Surgeon. I usually say this as a joke - but for him it 100% applies. Always the last 10% that ends up kicking your butt in a project. Nice to see this coming together.
I really enjoy seeing high quality metal fabrication. It truly is artwork. I just noticed you're right at 700K subscribers - congrats! Well deserved Sarah.
That exhaust is a work of art and should be hanging in an art gallery. So should your Celica! I can’t wait to see the finished product but I’m loving watching the process, thank you for sharing it with us.
Before I watch the video, just a comment. I see you're on 699K subs. Lets hope for 700K before the end of November. I know you've said, that you seem to have reached a ceiling, but here's hoping for a million subs.
This car needs to not only win multiple sema awards but a gran turismo award as well, its such a mind blowing, beautiful construction. Sarah you're building a masterpiece and I cannot wait to see your review of it once you're done!!! Forrest your construction of that exhaust was absolutely exquisite and those welds are literal fusions. Amazing work, this car is now going to sound even more insane!
That view from underneath the vehicle is super impressive Sarah! I still can't believe the amount of design and work you've put into a car which I used to work on regularly in the 80's at the dealership and never gave much of a thought to.
