- Today we go over how to plan a huge central park with a natural feel, complete with small streams, a boating lake, a zoo, fountain plaza, and a tram network running throughout. Plus lots and lots of rock detailing.
Welcome to Auridon! This is a 'lightly’ modded Cities Skylines gameplay series, although I do use a ton of mods the series will use mostly Vanilla (+DLC) building assets with only a handful of extras from the workshop. The focus of this build is on making a detailed city, with functional mass transit, including all DLC and content creator packs. 2022 ready! The series is based on game play mixed in with detailing timelapse's.

I've taken massive inspiration for this build, and to start my channel, from the Cities: Skylines greats such as Biffa, Imperatur and City Planner Plays (among many many others I would add!!) but above all from the amazing OverchargedEgg and in particular his Palaven series which has heavily inspired this city. One of the best central park builds on YT! Such an organic looking and flowing space. Really enjoyed this FewC! Perfect addition at the foot of Auridon's Skyline!

Your ability to manage water in this game is so fun to watch. (Granted, it’s also fun to watch Biffa and CPP flood their cities every time they mess with water!) You, however, make it look easy and end up with such beautiful streams, lakes, and fountains.
Dear lord, how are your builds always so beautiful? I wish I had even 20% of your talent and creativity.. my cities always end up looking like gridded spaghetti..

Love your creativity on display in this build! I’ve watched a lot of CS on YT and I’ve never seen someone use the Brandenburg Gate, let alone in that manner. It feels very realistic and something you would 100% see! 👏🏼👍🏼

The keyed fountain is such a (relatively) small but great addition to the grand central park
I have a small suggestion for the stairs in front of the pyramid: you could add a line of street lights in the middle, because the dark square in the middle looks a bit unrealistic and it would highlight the stairs even more! Other than that, I love the central park!

FewC, I'm going to have to start visiting the thesaurus to comment on your videos like I did for Egg! This. Is. STUNNING! As I watched, I was all in on the zoo, just vibing right along with you, then you put in that circluar quay to make it into a FOUNTAIN. Be still my HEART!!! I am just AMAZED! Absolutely brilliant area, looks absolutely smashing in the city and beyond that, you make it look soooo easy! I struggle to try to get my builds to look even a tiny tiny fraction as good as yours and you just breeze on in and put together a park area that blows me away. Lovely video, lovely build, and just adore watching you every week. Love love love!!!🤩🤩🤩❤❤❤

Amazing build - it has to be the best central park I've seen in this game! I have a suggestion for the open grass area by the university building, it could be nice to get a mowed lawn decal, there are some really nice transparent ones you can sink into the ground on the workshop!

Great build. You could add tiles to the tram crossings to make it look more like the path continues unbroken.

Vert good, only thing it missing a ducks in the ponds. I loved going to the park and throwing crumbs in the water for the birds.

I had to come back to this build after the 10K special as well, I remembered those DELICIOUS tram stops--seriously incredible! I also love the tram over the river, sucha little detail that makes the tram line unique! The asset placement of the zoo buildings is spot on, the bird santuary next to the road, yes please!!! Zoo paff being amazing as usual...it always knows just how to dress up any area with its delightfulness! And I must mention the rocks....ROCKGANG rise up!!! Why yours look so incredible and mine look like I'm trying to hard is a nystery I'm still trying to solve. And last but not least, I must mention the quay fountain...again! I know I already gushed right along with you on the first viewing, but I have to say that watching it again is just as mind blowing as the first time I saw you do it. Kudos to you!!!! Again!!!!💓💓💓💓💓

An absolutely gorgeous build! I'm definitely going to have to steal some ideas from this, I loved the little boating lake area, and the long, thin zoo, and that fountain was immaculate. Showing us all that you're the detailing and creative thinking master once again!

nice love the quay fountain
I think what I would do here is elevate the tram line, to separate it from the rest of the park. Maybe even have the tram stop on top of a little hill, with a zoo gate and path down into the zoo. 🤔

Dear Few Candy, i m a big fan of the Auridon series. Sinking into it, i became a citizen of Auridon and as a citizen i have to say that i don t like the zoo because of the animals in cages. While you building i thought in the beginning: yes a river! Yes bridges! And yes, pathways besides the river and so on! But than you created the zoo. In my opinion the zoo is first not timely (moralistic) and second it is sqished into the districts. As a citizen of Auridon living near the green pyramide in the green district i would love to have a green park with a river flowing into the ocean. There i could wander an think about the social aspect of digital art (like this channel) or just watch the beauty of Aurions park. Maybe take a rest in a cafe.
What about a real big nature reservoir outside the city? I don t know if it s possible, but there are spawn points for animals in the game.

Very nice. But Auridon should be called park city. As all you can do is make park after park after park. Mix it up a bit at least.
Looks amazing!! Question - if they have to pay to get in the front gate and the back gate, shouldn't there be some hidden side gate thing by the tram stops? Because unless I am missing something, it seems like they can enter for free by taking the tram. Really a fan of the detailing working and this series!
Thank you! And yes you are correct, you can’t place entrances onto a tram road as they don’t consider themselves connected, very frustrating! So difficult to get around a few people escaping in…
@@fewcandy could you place one segment of ordinary tram road (that allows cars) in the middle of a long stretch of tram track so no vehicles can drive down there but the zoning squares appear?
@@fewcandy It can be one of the secret things only the locals know haha.
Could you not just put a little tram on road bit to put side entrances in for the path leading to the subway station going across the tram line.
