Nice to see someone using a car and having fun. The point that you are competing with yourself is key. You did pretty well. If you want to do better without changing the car you can easily drop several seconds or more from your best time. Manually put it in low/1st gear. It helps slow the car when you are off throttle and prevents it from harshly downshifting when coming out of corners so you have less chance of spinning out or over rotating on throttle. Keep your hands at 9 and 3o clock position on the steering wheel as much as possible which prevents over steering or loosing track of where straight ahead is. Left foot braking works well with automatics and other 2 pedal cars like DSG etc.. Look much farther ahead than you think you can which slows things down and makes it easier to place the car between cones and find a better line. Good luck and have fun.
Hey Mr. Random, love your Vic. Ya know, how close you sit to the steering wheel will really help. There is a sweet spot. Too far away isn't good, as is too close. I am a old stockcar racer, and found all this out through experience. Ran dirt and pavement. Just thought I would run that by you brother. And the tighter your belts the better. I mean tight. Thanks for ALL your videos.
My respect gets given, you drive a solid bulletproof most dependable, most durable car built, Ford Crown Vic, CVPI, and stand out from the crowd, drive the 1 car nobody else brought in, and did great, that is awesome !
Oh and also ADTR now sells the clutch pedal conversion to make your manual hydro instead of a clutch cable. I can't stand a cable and quadrant. I'd rather have it hydrologic. Your legs don't tire as fast.
Dude, you don't auto cross on D.. Or use breaks.. You drop it at 1, floor it, let go of the gas pedal a little bit when you need engine breaking power, then floor it again. On a dry day, full or semi slicks would help too.
Would you please announce on here when and where the next panther meet up event will be held? Hoping you will put it on here for those of us that do not use other social media platforms.
Fun to watch! I autocross my Crown Vic and do better than most expect. 200 treadwear tires will make a huge difference! Also, I usually stay in first except for the occasional high speed areas where I bump into second. Keep it up!
hey! I aspire to autocross one of my Panther cars, but I do want to ask a question before I beat on this thing. You can just leave it in the "1" gear, right? There's no need to actually move the column shifter into the "2" gear when you need 2nd? Just wanted to ask since as far as I'm aware cars equipped with the 4R70/75 and even the AOD/E transmissions won't allow you to over-rev and will always shift up when you're nearing limiter. If that's not the case, maybe investing in a CANshift kit may be a good idea, but I do want to start out as cost-effective as possible 😅 Thanks!
Very nice brother!!! I have been thinking about building my 03' ex Hialeah P71. ADTR has alot of suspension parts I am going to be installing. Coil overs and bigger sway bars are a def. What is the blue X bar where the back seat goes? Is that a chassis stiffened? That was awsome brother. Thank you for sure.
Can you grant me a wish I made from God and from you to buy a Ford Crown Victoria p71 interceptor?I am a 62-year-old man. I want to go back to my country in Africa. I want the Ford Victoria P71 to be the first car to enter Africa, because most of the cars I have are Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, and I love American cars.🌹

Might wanna check out a DCT.
The only trans swap a Vic needs is a manual
That's so bitchin'! 🤣

What kind of supercharger are you going to install?
vortech
Why do you run the number 33?
Sounds like you need stickier tires
