- In this tutorial video I'll show you how to crochet a cute, colorful, and practical gift for your kitchen, this crochet woven dishcloth!
Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This crochet woven dishcloth is a neat looking item that can be used in your kitchen and bath as a dishcloth and washcloth. Although the woven design looks complicated, it's a very easy pattern to make with just single crochet stitches.
You can use any type of worsted weight yarn that you like. I'm using a size H 5 mm and a size G 4 mm crochet hook for my dishcloths.

Very cute! Made one in white cotton this weekend. If I were to double the length to 45 chains and 12 rows each, does that sound like the right numbers to make it doubled in size? So instead of a 3x3 inch square, it would be 6x6? I'm just guessing at this point, I'm not sure if you've made them larger than this if those numbers would be correct.

I'm not sure what pattern you are referring to. You can just go to my Naztazia channel and click on either the Videos tab or the Shorts tab to see previously posted videos.
Does 100% cotton work better than a cotton\acrylic blend. Somone says the blend absorbs less soap.
That's always a good debate question in the crochet and knitting world! 100% cotton absorbs the water and soap better, lathers nicer, and is milder on dishes and glasses. However, some cotton doesn't dry as quickly and could develop mold on it. Plus it doesn't have scrubbing power to get stuff off of frying pans. 100% acrylic doesn't absorb the water and soap and lather as much, but is a good scrubbing type of fiber. It also dries rather quickly and most of the time avoids mold growth. Blends can sometimes have both the best, and worst, of both fibers. I have yet to find a perfect fiber ;)
