  • You can learn how to Crochet a Wavy Pad using the Wiggly or Wiggle Crochet Technique in this video. Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This is a fun technique that you can use to make a hot pad, pot holder, dish cloth, wash cloth and more. In my sample, I'm using 100% cotton yarn and a size F 3.75 mm crochet hook.

My grandma made one of these many decades ago and I was always intrigued by it as a kid. She make it with really thin pink variegated yarn and it was dense and just beautiful.

I'm finally -- after 2 years -- able to start an afghan with this stitch. (I make a lot of afghans and I just finished one that took more than two years to finish.) I plan to use either a single crochet or half-single crochet, as I don't want the stitches to stand up quite so high. I'm currently making a small sample in order to really learn the pattern.
One question I have is, isn't it hard to work into the middle with the DCs? That is, isn't the middle hard to work? I should think it would be. Well, I'll find out soon enough. My sample should be done in the next day or two.
One thing I have found so far is, while making the foundation, you can always add extra columns on the side, if need be. Because, in order for all the corners to work out, you must always have an even number of posts (including end posts) and/or an odd number of boxes.

naztazia , I am a great fan of your videos, I’m a somewhat experienced crocheter but I’ve learned a great deal from watching your videos on techniques and new things to try. Sometimes fun crochet pattern books are hard to come by. I enjoy learning by watching! Keep the great fun coming! 🤗🤗🤗

I really like this. Do you have to use cotton yarn? I used 100% acrylic for my pot holders. They look a little worn, but they are still holding up. They are about 10 yrs old. I love the work that you do. Very educating and learning new stuff all the time.

Use whatever yarn you wish. On the pattern page for this, I write about the advantages/disadvantages of each fiber type with this.
