He should have invented the "Iced T-Gun". It would be very refreshing out there in the desert.

"Correct, and you're the booby". Well played, milord, well played. Thunderbolt is a sad, but true, depiction of the mindset of those days. And I remember having to get under my desk in a drill. A plastic desk. Oh well, I thought, at least my body will be preserved in vinyl.....

In a job I had, I dealt with military contracts on a regular basis, as well a military personnel. They were actually very good at specifying what they wanted. It could be demanding, but everything was in writing, they gave very clear definitions, and clarified some confusing points.
Maybe it was a different era where some lone scientist made a weapon, delivered it, got wishy washy about it, and didn't provide a mission profile for it, or operating instructions, or anything like that.
I'm going to have to assume the future people got the legend version of the Hulk as a fearless, unbeatable warrior. Never meet your heroes. They find out he's a mercurial, not too bright, and would prefer to be left alone than fight somebody else's war.

My gosh! The Executioner looks like Uniblab from "The Jetsons."

Even the same artist, Kirby, had wildly different looks depending on his inkers from issue to issue. And to be fair, some issues just had layouts by Kirby.

It is a wonder Hulk didn't meet Kang. Executioner from Thor was a surprise.

The future soldiers kind of look like Kirby's Fourth World citizens. One of them actually looks like a proto Steppenwolf. I'm familiar with Jack Kirby and his Marvel work, even his odd 2001: A Space Odyssey book, but being a DC diehard, I'm more knowledgeable about all the work he did there, the Forth World, Darkseid, High Father, Orion, all that. Something about the Hulk talking rationally always got to me. Yes, I'm more drawn to intelligent heroes, but his gimmick was that he was very angry, to the point of being uncontrollable. If he could stop and think, wouldn't he calm down, and revert to Banner? Or does he like being that powerful, and he chooses to stay in that form? I like when the beast shows signs of humanity, like saving people, or sparing them, but even up to today, he's just hanging out, in hulk form. But maybe that's just me.
And that space ship design was... questionable.

General Ross at the 28 second mark... The way he's waving his hands around reminded me of the Cowardly Lion: "Put 'em up! Put 'em up!"

Makes me picture Gen. Ross asking the soldiers in the tank, "How long can you stay fresh in that can?"

just for the sake of trivia , and at the risk of stating the oh so obvious, these "Marvel Super Hero short episodes where presented by a group called " Grantray Lawrence", and at least in my part of the country growing up, on a kids weekley tv show.
I bought the entire series not too long ago on Ebay and I still like them better then any modern version.

I like the Comic book came to life approach to this cartoon. These cartoons are timeless classic.

While the animation is very limited, I do like the look, as it is very close to how The Incredible Hulk comic book was during that time. 😊

It's close to it because like Irv said in the video it's literally pages from the comic ripped onto the screen

The "T" in "T-Gun" stands for "Time Travel"? Shouldn't it be called a "TT-Gun" instead?
I think I prefer the time gun from Knotts/Conway movie, "The Private Eyes".

It's been too long since I saw that movie but I remember loving it, especially Tim Conway trying to understand the guy with the missing tongue.
Maybe they wanted to call it "T-T Gun" but none of the voice actors could bring themselves to say it without laughing?

Winship: "Who ever heard of a gun that went off every hour?"
Tart: "Might save your life someday."
Winship: "Yeah, if you have to shøøt someone every hour."
