You should make a long, vertical rod to prod the astronauts in the glutinous maximus when they’re floating above you 😮

Or a fly swatter type thing
I think this might be the shortest time from video start to knob I've ever seen. Bravo Matt, truly you are an unparalleled engineer.
NASA beat him to it by a couple years though.
Since the joust didn’t work, why don’t you try making a Martian net to hold over your rover. Like have the pistons pointed straight up with the claws on the end. Because they seem to have a height limit
Exactly what I was going to say
This game looks fantastic and has too much potential. Props to the devs and next make him build a "strong shaped" living quarters.
@Evi1 M4chine what game
@Evi1 M4chine Can't remember that one
@@xenn4985 I think he's talking about instruments of destruction, but I'm not too sure. Both games are different as one is about destroying and this one is about transport. It's also very similar to trailmakers, which is more of a sandbox game.
@@obamabingchilling or trail makers
@@AzuraTheRock 😐😑😐😑
Imagine the perspective from that worker. The rover just slowly extending it's rod behind you and it suddenly backs away when you notice it.
Worker: "what?"
Rover: "what...!?"
5:54 love the implication that oranges breathe oxygen
Plants breathe oxygen for other metabolic functions. During the day photosynthesis cancel out what they breathe but in an atmosphere without oxygen they wouldn't last :/
20 seconds into a video and the video is already looking pretty strong and efficient. Good stuff.
RCE: Let’s be sensible
Also RCE: Goes mental like paddy with his squeaky toy 😂
The building in the garage reminds me of LEGO instruction manuals, I love it lol
8:52 "Look at that turn, Matt."
Maybe I am a Matt.
Oh my god. I'm an architect. Thank you for bringing the light to my life, almighty god of engineer. 😳
Watching Matt lifting his heavy and sturdy rod, makes this the best video on the channel.
I'm sure they can handle the dents in the telescope with some software patches. :D
This game looks absolutely incredible. Can't wait to see where it goes in the future.
I can imagine the one guy in the planning meeting saying “let’s let that RCE Guy deliver our irreplaceable telescope mirror!” while everyone else has a serious face palm moment!
I love the build screen; looks like the little instructions print out that comes with your Lego or something.
0:57 YASSSS THE ROCKET LEAGUE REFERENCE!
U have single handedly changed the way the word "Efficient" registers in my mind lol XD
The best engineering response! "It's actually working!!"
GG to that mirror. Now the astronauts will only get scratchy images. Good job! 😝
This game looks awesome! Great vid Matt!
1:25 ish I love how you can see the true to life wobble ( don't know what it's called) the enemy of Forklift Drivers everywhere LOL
This game looks wonderful I'm really looking forward to more of this
it seems kind of like trailmakers story mode in the sense of the creating cool solutions to your different vehicles issues
Cool game + cool youtuber + funny jokes = good content! So continue with this game
Trail makers on mars with really cool looking graphics. Lot of fun
this is the first time i have seen a game with physics have really good stable collisions
considering how expensive, precisely calibrated, and clean those telescopre lenses have to be, it honestly hurt to watch him smashing it around the dusty martian landscape
Thanks for explaining topographical mapping like a true engineer
I really like the art style, very crisp and suits the game well. =]
honestly, the physics when grabbing things is pretty impressive
like; most games/engines would have quite a bit of jitter/instability with that
love these there so much fun to watch!!
As a Surveyor Engineer (to be) i am buying this game for the sole reason of space surveyors
This reminds me a bit of trail makers! I'm still messing around with the high seas dlc lol
That's a fun and most efficient and strong, STRAIGHTFORWARD game.
Wow I love this! Can you park under the worker and make a rover that extends up to see if you can get one?
The concept reminds me of another build-your-rover game. Terra tech. Speaking of which, you should check it out. That game has a lot of engineering potential
I too love the cel shading
I've seen a post from the developer on reddit and I am pleasantly surprised how well the game has been going
The Graphics and Colors is giving me vibes of old cartoons
The creator of this game needs to make a space building game similar to this... I would 100% buy it.
I think this is the first game i've seen that has a puzzle like objective with the building and not just building things to make it across the water or something.
Rover reminds me of rollcage.. one of the best racing games ever :D
Looks like Trail makers... That would be fun for RCE to play the stranded in space campaign
This reminds me of a game called Surviving Mars that I think RCE would like, considering he's played many games just like it.
In line with efficiency, I wonder if there’s any builder-game that allows the creation of a a Strongest Shape (possibly phallic) bridge between Earth and Mars, or perhaps our Moon?
Ok ok, fine. I want a 20 min video about building a space bridge to explore the next part of Man… _possibly_ shaped like a giant man part.
*sees a fellow Engineer drawing doodles on things* Ah, I see you too are a man of culture
this game looks AMAZING!!!
Me in first 10 seconds: "THE STRONGEST SHAPE!" (Booshes Like)
Picnic table with mugs. Outside. On Mars.
I'm learning Auto CAD, and the design of this game reminders me of CAD 3D constructs
I remember a weird dream how I a little robot living on Mars and world around looking exactly like graphics in this game and when I see first frame I just start typing this comment (sorry for bad english, second language)
I saw some vids from the dev, looks like a really cool game.
Dude i love this game
Love he random phallic shapes 😂😂
Engineer: it doesn't look good, but it works
6:06 my man just called surveyors doing some surveying "martians"
also SURVEYORS POG
Yeah I'm studying Surveying Engineering and it's fun
Omg need this game!!!
My first thought as I started watching this was, this isn’t a game, this is a way for nasa to outsource rover ideas.
My wish list keeps getting bigger thanks to this channel
this engineer really loves the shape of the clam hammer
I love the style
Due to the atmosphere pressure, the oranges would likely explosively boil all the water put of them once exposed. Potatoes would also act like small explosives on mars.
The efficient build at the end reminded me of WALL-E but we'll call it WILL-E
I sure do love cell shaded graphics
Regarding realism: Mars' atmosphere is so thin that the steam/smoke from the steel mill would not rise like that.
Instead it would immediately spread out a LOT and probably just look like a haze over the building, if it's visible at all.
Edit: typo
Can wait till it comes out I’ve been waiting months
Beautiful
"Power!"... what are you, Clarkson? Or James Pumphrey 😄
I love the sketchfab aesthetic
Great thinking with the finger to raise the beam. Simple, but effective. As all engineering should be.
If it ever makes it to PlayStation (since my laptop is just a step above potato), I may give it a go. I love designing vehicles. Especially with cool gizmos and gadgets to do fun things. Like making a hand, to become a roaming high-five machine!
Try playing trailmakers. RCE played it a while back and it ha a very similar premise. Only difference is that its a sandbox game rather than puzzles.
@@obamabingchilling I have played it. It's fun, but the physics really don't like me making anything that can fly.
Wow this game is cool
Day 47:Dear Matt,
I have a very good video idea
Gather all your editors and make them all have a fight on like a PvP game (e.g. Minecraft,Rust,Ect,ect...) And see who is the best editor and is worthy of the rank of a classified engineering. From me.
@Evi1 M4chinehe has different editors for different content like his patron editor is schmeichel and one of his main is suited bird and Markiplier has one or two editors and he uploads every 1-4 days
I was always greenminded when you make video😂
I built a rover with a huge grabby arm and those astronauts actually jetpack as high as they need to keep out of range of any part of the rover.
RCE, you should watch Biffa's video today! It's his mod list for City Skylines. It would probably make your videos easier
I just love mars
5:51 *OBVIOUSLY, those are MARS PUMPKINS
This game makes me think of LEGO, more specifically the LEGO instruction booklets especially the art style
This color scheme reminds me of Ulence Flats from Space Quest I
And a lot of Solidworks and AutoCAD
the graphics reminds me of the Rugrats, similar paint palette if you know what mean
this game looks fun
reminds me alot of terratech with the block building style
Looks like Moebius's style game called Sable. Plus Lego ;)
please more of it when its out
It's a good thing they don't mind damaged parts.
You should have part 2 amazing game
mark rober will be proud XD
Play more isle of arrows! They have a few different campaigns with different weapons you can play!
Okg I wish this was on xbox this looks like so much fun
20 seconds and hes already made the most efficient shape
@6:00 the oranges won't die becuse the lack of oxygen, they don't need oxygen to survive. The orange would simply freeze to solid due to atmosphere pressure and temperature difference. Haven't you seen Martian?
Nice
I got hard trailmaker vibes
This game is really fun. The dev even showed how to get unlimited money so your imagination can run wild.
When RCE talks about driving efficiency only draw the strongest shape that ends up efficiently waste fuel. 😂
An RCE video a day keeps the psychiatrist at bay
This video should have been titled: "Juvenile pillock solves puzzles with speed and power"
I like how the game looks like an AutoCAD
that mystical shape u drew at the start
i love the graphics
i did not expect the next borderlands to take this direction, i like it
i love your videos
