2:04 I think it's a funny detail that Ted doesn't clap for anonymous, as he's just soaking in the praise - while he's supposed to be clapping along if he "doesn't know who it is."
Not only does this make Ted Danson sound like an asshole, it makes him look utterly insane, lol. Kudos to Ted for playing such a caricature of himself. Most of us are too self conscious.
Everything's heaven with this guy. He tries a piece of gum, "this is heaven". A parking space "oh I'm in heaven". He tastes a chocolate bar "it's heaven"
Larry David, Ted Danson and Richard Lewis should be given Best Actor for Playing Nurrotic's. They are great and I can see the same scene over and over and still laugh the belly laugh.
The scene from 00:15 to 1:20 is almost certainly taken from actual dialogue, and goes some distance toward explaining why some of these people are the way they are.
Larry David does such a great job. Despite getting into many a pickle his depiction of his heightened self makes the viewer unsympathetic to his plight lol
Whoever played the Clinton wannabe Senator was just unbelievable, how she was able to convey her disdain for Larry in a few short words, while exuding that neoliberal smugness and pretention. Masterclass. She makes that scene in my book.
Not usually into ogling TV women, and have never seen a Lawless program that interests me… but damn, she looks good in that scene. And plays incredibly well in the part of her alter-ego.
Lucy Lawless said in an interview that they do a lot of improv on the show and her saying Ted Danson was an asshole was her idea and after she said it Larry David liked it and kept it in. Danson had no idea this was said until he saw the episode air and he was very upset about her comment.
I guess you don’t know how this show is made. Almost all of it is improv. They basically come up with a story, an outline, of what needs to happen in any given scene, they have a story of the overall episode, but then they just improvise the rest. They start at point A, they know they need to get to Point B, and they just figure out how to get there along the way.
These guys are literally dying on screen. They are all old and falling apart so im pretty sure even if they do another season it will be very limited who is on and for how long.
There was an episode of Seinfeld called "The Pie". Three characters at different points in the show refused to eat three different types of pie. Jerry's gf; Apple Jerry Seinfeld; Pizza George Louis Costanza; chocolate
Ted Danson is brilliant in every scene. I love him in this show!!
He's just playing himself.
GeorgeUK84 an exaggerated version of himself.
This show and Bored to Death .
2:04 I think it's a funny detail that Ted doesn't clap for anonymous, as he's just soaking in the praise - while he's supposed to be clapping along if he "doesn't know who it is."
Everybody is classic in this show
Not only does this make Ted Danson sound like an asshole, it makes him look utterly insane, lol. Kudos to Ted for playing such a caricature of himself. Most of us are too self conscious.
It’s easy not to be self-conscious when the writing you a giant check for it. Furthermore it’s called acting!
@@MrPernell27 furthermore he is an asshole.
MrPernell27 MrPernell27 I’m aware of that, Stella Adler. But he’s still playing a version of himself and he seems like a good sport.
@@MrPernell27 thanx, I couldn't be arsed to tell the moron what an actor does 4 a living 👍
@@MrPernell27 yea but it's all ad-lib, there's specific points they go over but they all just make it up as they go
The pie scene is magnificent.
Midianholic
Big fuckin' sissy!
Midianholic that's a slur.
Take this fucking piece of pie and get it out my face!
@@johnny-vu6rl a good one too!
@@trevorskopczynski5791 there is no such thing as a good slur. that's an oxymoron.
Ted looks like he’s having so much fun in this role. I picture him just lighting up when Larry told him, “I want you to play an asshole.”
He nails it.
He wanted ted to play himself
The disdain between Danson and Larry in the pie scene is way too funny.
Be a friend... be a fucking friend.
That pie scene is one of the best in curb history
Taking this fucking peace of pie and get it out of my face
“You’re part of the problem, Senator”
One subtle nugget. Love it
Ted Danson is absolutely awesome. He is sooo freakin' funny.
I STILL watch 'Becker' re-runs....That show was brilliant too.
In Becker he's a tormented asshole......In Curb he's just an asshole..........
luuke luketer he’s not an asshole in Curb, he just treats Larry normal and doesn’t take any of Larry’s bs
Im still re watching becker. Its very underrated
I love Becker. Still watch it today. One of my favorite TV sitcoms ever.
Becker was such a great show
Everything's heaven with this guy. He tries a piece of gum, "this is heaven". A parking space "oh I'm in heaven". He tastes a chocolate bar "it's heaven"
thought that was hillary clinton
SO DID I!!😂😂
She's just as obnoxious
I did too!
Same
😂 definitely had to look twice.
*throws cash at Larry* "Buy some fuckin pants, will ya?" LMAO
“Rosie best the crap outta ya. Ya big sissy”...
Lmao
Who is the guy who starts the toast at 1:40 ? He has such small hands
Kody Jackson the same issue arises when the actor is in Its Always sunny in Philadelphia, he’s a lawyer
Oh my God! NOBODY LOOK! NOBODY LOOK!
jack kelly... hes the foremost lawyer in bird law...along with his nephew
yes! He's a lawyer right?
Oh god, I never even notice. Dee is in Curb. There are quite a few people who has been on both shows.
"And the other one is... anonymous"
** accordeon music starts**
Hahahahahahaha
What kind of music?
So many great supporting characters in this show. Ted is definitely one of them.
Anytime you see Ted in a scene you know its going to be Awesome!
I'd love to be so rich that I've always got at least 150 in my wallet at any given time
LD was right about Senator Boxer. She was part of the problem, haha!
Larry always makes good points
I think Rosie would take Larry in a real life fight
Oh, no question.
🤣 Rosie is a fat ass, would be exhausted in about 30 seconds.
If her fat ass got on top it'd be over.
My money is on Rosie
Dude, I'd be scared to fight Rosie O Donnel lol
2:55 PUT THE FUCKIN’ PIE DOWN!! 😂 I fuckin’ lost it at that part 😂🤣🤣
Reminded me of Joe Pesci somehow.
aw the poor little kids they couldn't swim in the bay xD
I love seeing Ted express himself. He is such a sweetheart irl
I can’t live knowing Ted Danson makes that much more than me...
Forgot the best part where Ted looks at Larry’s date like Larry is being charitable to her 😂😂😂
Ted got a louder applause than Larry 🤣🤣🤣
A long running "feud" even in running Seinfeld gags.
The previous top sitcom vs the next!
Oh yeah, you're right. I had to rewind my brain to remember what you meant... The Show About Nothing and George wanting a deal like Ted Danson's.
LD is an incredible genius. 😂😂😂😂😂
Larry David, Ted Danson and Richard Lewis should be given Best Actor for Playing Nurrotic's. They are great and I can see the same scene over and over and still laugh the belly laugh.
Richard Lewis is the best
"nurrotic's"
Totally outshine Woodsy Allen...
He should've blurted out, "It's Ted Dansen!"
Anonymous my arse
Ted not allowing Larry to play the Cowardly Lion should’ve also been part of this compilation.
"You know somethin?"
And to think, NBC offered Constanza less.
The Ted Danson plane
Just watching how thrilled Larry is to know Lucy Lawless also hates Ted Danson is one of the funniest little things
The scene from 00:15 to 1:20 is almost certainly taken from actual dialogue, and goes some distance toward explaining why some of these people are the way they are.
Comedy is truth. More so than drama.
Holy shit, it’s charlie’s Creepy uncle!
Haha Larry created an amazing rivalry with Ted in this show!
Best comedy tv show ever made
Ted says, “wow I didn’t expect that” haha.
You didn’t give me a shirt, you gave me a problem!
Just take the pie to go problem solved and remain the the best of friends with Ted danson
You don't seem to know LD very much then
Edit : Just noticed your comment was 3 years ago ,, sorry for the notification
Fuck Ted danson
All of those scenes right there, absolute gold.
Not surprised Babs Boxer is a competent actor... they're all puppets.
Do not put that pie down!
4:19 Lucy Lawless can call me an ahole ANYTIME.
Ted Danson has turned in great work for almost 40 years, not a turkey in the bunch.
Except for the turkey sandwich named after him.
I love that this episode of curb excists because ted did not keep the good place twist a secret.
CanaAlyce shut up meg
Wtf is Ted's problem, Larry clearly is side-sitting in here.
Me realizing that Ted dansons character was centered around rfk junior make is even better.
1:47 this guy's hands look outrageously small, don't they ?
MP Nobody look.
I thought the camera was supposed to add 10 pounds to his hands
1:41 Hey! Its Uncle Jack. Jack Kelly. His hands, look... small.
1:42 Holy shit is that Uncle Jack the Nightman?
Danson is soooooooooooo good in Curb it's amazing.
That pie did look really good though.
Ted Danson is great in Mr. Mayor
YOU KNOW SOMETHIN?
That’s disgusting
"yes, she had me down but i could have reversed it!"
Larry David does such a great job. Despite getting into many a pickle his depiction of his heightened self makes the viewer unsympathetic to his plight lol
lol how it starts and ends with the same clip.
the pixels are art
Put that fucking pie down :P
What are you wearing.....
tbh in that scene, larry was the asshole. that poor opera singer.
put the fukin pie down!
That is heaven!
Is that Uncle Jack from It's Always Sunny, standing next to Boxer?
Yeah, almost didn’t recognize him without the hands
If I’m spending that much money I better get faking credit
The only disappointing thing about this show is never seeing the Ted Danson private jet 🛩
Boxer was a disaster
I love Ted Danson
Whoever played the Clinton wannabe Senator was just unbelievable, how she was able to convey her disdain for Larry in a few short words, while exuding that neoliberal smugness and pretention. Masterclass. She makes that scene in my book.
That isn’t an actor that is an actual Senator. Senator Barbara Boxer.
How is anything about what she said neoliberal?
lmao thats literally senator boxer
Smugness and pretentiousness is very liberal.
Ted Dansin
FRANKENSTEIN?
His hands look kinda big in this
Is that really Barbara Boxer?
who is the woman in the beginning..they say she is from bionic woman or something.??
Ahe is the identical twin of the Woman at the very end.
No matter what happens, Larry is put upon.
It’s not anonymous if you go around telling everybody you did it.
Take this fuckin pie and get it out of my face!
Ted was building tension to separate their friendship to make it easier to date Sheryl
Faux anonymity!
Sen. Boxer did a great job in this.
She's almost as bad an actress as she is a politician.
disgusting boxer
She did a good job acting! Still a Libtard, though.
Senator Boxer is one of the reasons that I left California to go live in Free America.

Ted was smarter than LD again...
Ted Danson is amazing on this show. And the perfect enemy/friend to Larry lmao
Faabuluuss!!
that mucus growl
If it’s anonymous, how come so many people know about it? There you have it.
Ted's awesome
Ted is not an ass, actually he is one of my favts actors of the all time.
Yes, Ted is an ass in Curb your Enthusiasm. It's so great
that gorgeous Sam Malone gone gray 😓 time is something
Larry David is my f****** spirit animal
I’m disturbed that between 3:02 and 3:06, the pie mysteriously went back from the waiter’s hands to the table.
Put the fuckin pie down 😂
Ted hasn't been on curb in awhile.. wonder why

They respect pie, it's a bona fide comedy foodstuff along with cheese, asparagus, bananas... scuse me a gotta get a sandwich
I've always thought was Larry was taller than Ted
Ted is like 6.4
Dude towered over everyone in Cheers
I don't see them pffer the lady the poe?
it's total bullshit that Larry's contribution got totally smothered by Ted's
