To stop the play back when browsing it's in: Profile Settings General Playback in feeds. You have to click to see it's current setting. Somehow it was automagically set to "Always on" during an update.
Just did it and so far still off. It's not really the videos in my feed, it is after I have watched a video the feed there plays all the recommended videos. Thank you for the clear explanation!
For the people that still have this problem: Click on your profile Settings (the gear) Then you directly have the autoplay setting (no need to go to general)
I'd consider updating this video; the layout of the menus and the titles of the options have completely changed from 7 months ago... not to mention, it doesn’t even work, anyway. Sorry...
Dude autoplay is what allows a video to be played after another in a playlist! You're talking about play back. I'm so really tired of you guys using position 0 to waste our time.

They moved settings to the ellipses (three dots), but otherwise this helped me turn off that setting. It works! Thank you!

this is for YT's phone app that has a different interface ... i need the same for using UA-cam on a desktop machine that has a different interface ...

These settings no longer apply to iOS 16.6.1. Settings => Autoplay (turned off, but still autopsy's) 🤔
I go to settings and click general and I don’t see that feature. It’s probably cause I’m on iOS could u make a tutorial for iOS?
