Fast forward 3 years. I bought the Radiant pattern, then sat there and stared at it for hours. How the heck was I going to get that 3D look? Please, Lord, let this one have a tutorial by Donna. Sure enough, I find her and Matt at home, choosing colors! That man has a gift for intuitively knowing what will work together in a design. Just like he and Donna. Now I have no more excuses, because he picked colors and she explained it all in detail. Back to the sewing room on this cold rainy night.

I like how you started this at home because your husband seems a little more relaxed and less stiff. I know as the series continues and Over time he has gotten a little more used to the camera. Keep up the good work you two!

I'm fascinated that colors and patterns of the fat quarters did not appeal. ..but with the design, top quilting and background batiks it truely just melds into a stunning quilt. I'm amazed it looks so good.

I made this quilt almost two years ago and it has not come off my bed since it was finished. It was my very first bed-sized quilt, and l would make it again in a heartbeat. No complicated points to worry about, no curves, no y-seams, just a gorgeous quilt that looks complex but is easy to make. Thank you both for your "personal" videos. I feel like you're my very good neighbors (even though you're almost 2000 miles away)! Your photographer and producer are doing a great job - I feel like I'm right there. (Gayle)

Wow! Loving this one! This color scheme I would love in the bedroom. Will you do quilt sets to purchase. I just invested in a Baby Lock Aria and waiting on my Koala cabinet. My retirement passion. Love your videos and teaching and the cutting methods. The weight helps a great deal when cutting long strips. I also made "Matt's ironing board". Thanks for all you do. I can't wait to get started on Harvest quilt I purchased last fall.

I too live in the Pacific Northwest, north of you at the Southern tip of the Puget Sound! Loved the brief "car tour"! I'm going to make a special trip to your shop on my next trek to California! Maybe stay the night in your lovely city! The quilt is awesome, as usual, you again proved that excellence does not have to be synonymous with complex! And I loved the more graphic second quilt!
