Both of your new quilts are beautiful. It sure is a lot quicker than making a Grandmother's Flower garden. (I have been working on one for over 15 years by hand). Oh so pretty. I love the one in the Christmas colors. I'd love to win the give away one with the cows & pigs on it. My oldest grandson raised steers for 4-H. I just looked at the amount of subscribers you have and can’t believe you are nearly at 700K subscribers! That’s fantastic, I’ve been following you since you just had a couple of thousand. I’m not surprised though as your content is great and I have learnt so much from you. You were the first person I ever heard mention pressing rather than ironing and that made a huge difference to my blocks.
Both quilts are lovely and although I prefer the floral colours I like the random placement of the flowers the best.

Beautiful results! I choked a bit at the term "partial seam method" as this was a technique that screamed "advance quilters only" back when I was a beginner, but your calm approach erased all of my fears immediately. I haven't worked on a patchwork block quilt lately, but this block💞 inspired me to want to give this one a try. Thanks again, Donna! Your confidence comes through every video giving the rest of us the courage to step out of our comfort zones and try new things!

Such a great pattern. Thanks for showing how it's done. I am so glad it can be made with layer cake squares. I have collected floral layer cake squares for charity quilts and this would be a nice pattern for the lap and wheelchair size.
Watching quilting ahows in the 80s and 90s, a partial seam was considered a "very hard" seam and i rarely saw them done. I am seeing people breeze through these seems that would have been an entire episode of one of the old shows. They do look very easy to do so i am glad they are no longer being seen as a super advanced technique

Good morning Donna and "all" the Jordan family, the blossoms are beautiful in the Painterly Petals, flower. I would make changes to the centers, making them perhaps a grunge, so that it would still have depth, sorry flower. It is still a stunningly beautiful quilt all the same though and would make a beautiful bouquet of lasting flowers for mothers day or gift for a special little lady's bedroom. You always start my mind turning in what if's, Donna and it doesn't matter which pattern you do, i love the variations that come into my mind because of you, thank you. Hello Donna! Love the pattern. You read my mind and mentioned that a layer cake would work for the petals. That would make a scrappy quilt vs one organized in rows. And I love scrappy.

This quilt is my absolutely all time favorite of all the quilts you have made--the pattern, the jewel tone colors, the backing, the delicate rose quilt pattern-all of it!!!!!
Nice one! It got me thinking of doing this pattern with the Moda Summer Breeze layer cake I got from your online shop a good year or two ago, which I love. But then maybe a monochromatic scheme and this pattern wouldn't do each other justice. A bunch of florals I collected 20 years ago will finally come out of the stash, I think. And I'll keep watching out for the perfect pattern or design idea for that gorgeous layer cake.
