Your Etsy store and your artistry inspire me the most. I’ve watched a LOT of different “dotters” and it seems you are the only one that shares information about paint, cleaning tools, and different brands, etc. I haven’t seen anyone work with puffy dotsYou also have a great personality. ❤️
I like puffy dots and I cannot lie 😂 Thanks for watching my videos. I remember when I first learned how to dot paint from Kristin Uhrig on UA-cam and I binge watched all her videos. I aspire to be half as good as her half of the time. I want to help other artists like she helped me 💕
I also watch Sue Sloan but I really enjoy your videos as I'm new and love your progression to more moves as you go along. I feel like I can get better soon too!! Thank you!
Boo, Another Rachel I watch is " Rachel Rocks Canada." And a hint from someone in a rock painting group is to use styrofoam with toothpicks in it to lift your work up while the resin dries on it. It made sense but I haven't used resin yet or started dotting either. Although I do dot in my dreams
I'm most inspired by you, Lydia May, and Rachel rocks Canada. I just got my stencils from you!! So I'm doing some watching to get inspired and quell the nerves, lol. I also have some stencils on order from Lydia May. I try to buy from artists that inspire me as a way to support them for teaching me so much. 🥰
Yes! Thank you for helping to support us artists! It really means a lot when our viewers get inspired by our videos. It's not easy to record, edit and share these videos so when we hear positive feedback it INSPIRES US to create more. It's feedback loop ❤️✨ Thanks so much for watching!
I love painting the start when I put the first dot and I love the end part when I see the finished peace that i did not know how it will look like so it's a surprise each time! Thank you so much! You are an amazing artist that inspires me all the time!
I know! Each mandala painting is a journey and you never know what the final piece will look like. I'm so glad I can throw some inspiration at you! Thanks, that makes me happy.
That’s beautiful! I loved the colors and the design. I will definitely use resin on my projects after your video. It looks stunning. Thank you for sharing!!
Beautiful! I’ve been dotting for a little over a month now and found your channel with its treasure trove of teaching videos. Thank you!!! I love how you said d in part one of this that it doesn’t have to be perfect. Great advise! I tried to do one on my own…mandala mishmash results! 😂😂 I’ll stick with copying and learning from making pre-done mandalas first! Step by step!
Miranda Pitrone was the first dot artist I came across and I watched and loved everything she's done. I'd be surprised if you aren't familiar with her. This piece you've done is beautiful! Thanks for putting this together for us, I know how much work goes into making a video...thanks again!
Simply amazing I love your commentary you have such and then caring and funny personality. I especially appreciate all the tips and tricks you give as well as the lessons you’ve learned in the mistakes you’ve made along the way. I vote for number six on the Mandala Walla although it’s too late I still vote for a number six I got to get my opinion heard LOL. Do you plan on putting out any tutorials four getting started what you really need what you recommend to mix paints do you carry those products and mixing mediums?
#6 on the Mandala Walla - got it :) I have some beginner tutorials, but more are on the way. I don't carry any paint or mediums in my shop, but I tend to use the same paints and mediums over and over so if you pick a video and check the descriptions it's all listed there. I have an amazing beginner dotting kit in my shop. Check it out here: thedottingcenter.com/product/dot-mandala-painting-kit-dotting-tools-and-stencils-to-get-started-dotting/
Rachel, you are one of my favorites and you are a big inspiration to me! I love all your stuff. Also, Renee from FreelandArtShack and Lina of @mandalasf. And of course Kristin and Lydia. Really enjoyed Part 2, your commentary is so fun and your voice sounds great.
Forget Netflix Or Amazon prime you are my new binge watch. I haven’t even started dieting yet but you are so inspiring. I have to agree with Robin It would be great to see what you would do with all those patterns now with all the different techniques you’ve learned the Swishers the dots the drops etc. the puffy dots oh my goodness the spikes.
where do you get the circle-discs? Also what paint use for the base coat? Looks like it's easier to make lines with white chalk than on my glossy black base coat.
The circle discs can be found on Amazon or at art supply stores. I always use chalk paint for base coats so the chalk pencils have a gritty surface so they can show up. Thanks for watching : )
I use resin a lot and I have a room dedicated to it. I I accidentally left the door open while checking on a piece that I was doing and my dog got in and stepped in wet resin. I yelled, he ran, and I was scrubbing floors and my poor dog has one hard foot! It was a mess!
OMG I’m so sorry! I’ve heard stories like that before where the pets decide to get curious and end up getting stuck. It’s a messy job for sure. Thanks for sharing!

OMG Robin! I couldn't agree more!!
I love to watch Miranda Patron and Sue Sloan create their original and exciting designs!
I love Miranda Patron too. OOOhh I haven't seen Sue Sloan yet! I'll have to look her up. Thanks!
In all honesty, your art is inspiring me the most right now. I'm also inspired by Elspeth McClain, Lydia May, & Kristin Urhig. 😊
Oh that's so nice! Elspeth, Lydia, and Kristin are also on my list : )
I enjoy the humor of Rachel's Rocks Canada and Miranda Pitrone on are very detailed. Love both styles.
Miranda Pitrone and Rachel's Rocks!
2 of my favorites for sure!❤️
I also watch Sue Sloan but I really enjoy your videos as I'm new and love your progression to more moves as you go along. I feel like I can get better soon too!! Thank you!
I love Sue's videos, she's amazing! Have fun dotting!
Right now, you are one of my favorites, but I found Rachel's Rock Canada doing dot painting on smooth stones for my Herb Garden.
She's an amazing artist! I love her work, too.
this is beautifulI I am 78 years old and just trying to learn to dot

I LOVE RACHELS ROCKS! She’s amazing! I just finished her butterfly flower video. I would end up resining the toothpicks to the darn thing 😂
It looks very similar to a stained glass window. Beautiful as always.
It does look like a stained glass window 😊 Thanks for watching!
I love Amanda Pitrone!
She’s amazing! I love her too.

I started dot painting about 2 years ago and my two favorite people to watch were, Lidia May and Kristen Urhig.
Hi Kelly! I learned from watching them. I never forget my teachers
Sweet Willow
@@dorothylabarge6340YES! I love her, too. She has the best voice, so soothing. She's such a great teacher and artist.

Wonderful art! I am trying to order stencils but the web site keeps asking to fill out what is already done! I am disappointed!
Hmmm I haven’t heard of this error before. Are you on Etsy or TheDottingCenter.com? Message me from the site you’re on and we’ll troubleshoot it 😊

its absolutely beautiful painting, could you tell me please what you use in the end liquid ?
Thank you! I used resin. I like Art Resin. You can buy it on Amazon.
what product do you use to make it look like glass?
I use ArtResin. It's an epoxy resin you can buy it on amazon. Thank you for watching!🙂
