I loved and used my stow and go for many years. Loved the size of the burners, great at that time in my life as I had children and grandchildren to cook for. My one complaint, right out of the box was that it had no"simmer". Plus, the heat adjustment would move as I cooked. Had to put a piece of toothpick in it to freeze the adjustment knob. My solution, Jet Boil Base Camp. Been using it for almost five years now. Never a complaint. Happy testing!!
I own the land cruiser version of those rc rigs and do love it, I took it apart and repainted it because white is a bit bland and then made a custom license plate for the rear as I am a model maker by trade so have access to CNC mills lol
You guys sure do well and making me want to quit my job! Our cars can’t get to where you are, but I count down the days till our next adventure! Every time I go west, my eyes are peeled looking for you guys in between trails! I hope to cross paths some day so I can personally thank you 3 for getting me back into nature! Safe travels from WI!
@@LifestyleOverland nice man that’s awesome if you find some free time look up cataract gorge utah. it’s just off mirror lake highway and it’s a great dirt road drive down into a sweet canyon with an awesome waterfall. You can even camp there I took some drone videos and made a video named cataract gorge.
I havent watched in awhile. I think yall had 90k subs when i was last watching. I sold my taco about 8 months ago and this def makes me miss the adventure.
I always make one pot spaghetti. You have to stir it until it softens, lower the heat then simmer w/o the lid to get rid of excess water. I would've put that entire jar of water at the beginning to make sure the noodles were covered. I use thin spaghetti or angel hair to speed it up. I use Barilla brand cuz it cooks in less than 10-15 minutes and it sticks to itself less than other brands but that's just my preference. Haven't tried the cream cheese method but I recently saw someone add it to one pan lasagna so I might give it a try. Probably taste better in beautiful scenery. Loved the history lesson as well
Just wow!!! I don’t know much about overlanding, but this is stunning!!! Killer drone shot as well… I’m more into camping, maybe someday I get to experience this kind of adventure!!! Sub for sure to you channel!!
I find myself fast-forwarding/skipping through many of the videos I see on the Tube. but not Lifestyle Overland videos. They are art. The music. The videography. Where I would skip, they speed up the video. BTW, you can get a kit that will connect a 5gallon propane cylinder to those stoves. I've got a 'propane tree' that I use so that I can connect a couple things to a single cylinder. It also has the ability to attach a lantern to the top. You can get those 'trees' at many online vendors or even in the big 'mart' stores.
Thanks so much! Glad you've enjoyed the show! We actually have one of the adapter hoses but the dog gone thing isn't working and I just keep forgetting to troubleshoot it. One of the multi taps would be even better though. Thanks for the suggestion 👍
Just found super italians on tik tok and just letting you know.... everything about that spaghetti would start an uproar in the Italian community 😂😂😂😂 I think it looks delicious
Nice area , So how do you like Starlink ? I have it at home in fact that is what I am on currently , I am curious what you get for DL speed lately ? I noticed a few weeks after the announcement of the higher high speed available , my DL speed has dropped to near 50mbps . You have the new dish where I have the round one but it's still pretty good .
Quick question - will you be anywhere near Nashville in October? I work with a science museum here, and we are opening a new exhibit gallery called “Adventure Gallery”, focused on getting visitors out and exploring. Also…Drew and Ellie Holcomb just played a show at our place a few weeks ago. :-)
7 ad breaks in a 20-minute video????? I’m sorry, but I’m out. That’s just too much. I have really enjoyed your content over the years but the number of ads, and unskippable ads, in UA-cam content has gotten completely ridiculous recently. if it costs this much to produce and host the content, there is something seriously wrong with the business model. Best of luck in the future, maybe I will come back someday.
I hear ya. UA-cam has gotta ridiculous with those even when I manually trim them back (they somehow creep back in). Unfortunately, their ad revenue barely covers our fuel bill these days. That's why we primarily focus on our Patreon supporters and give them ad-free, early, uncompressed, extended episodes starting at $5 a month (or one gallon of gas). Sorry to see you go here, but we'd love to welcome you over on Patreon and put all the UA-cam ads behind us. lso.link/support
@@LifestyleOverland I understand but I watch too many of these channels to be able to sign up and pay a monthly fee for each individual one of them. That is just adding too many new expenses. I pay too many monthly fees for streaming as it is, starting to cut back on that now.
Great to see a group of friends/families enjoying an adventure. That scenery look amazing. Looking forward to next week.
“Howdy folks!!” Being from Tennessee, but currently working in California I sure do miss that!

Great content as usual! At 11min mark what song is that? Thank you in advance.
I have two 1-burner Coleman stoves. Where did you get the folding double burner??

I hear our channel is banned in Italy now... 🤣

🔥
maybe a higher fat ground beef would keep it from sticking ?
Can you show me how to upload videos on UA-cam and still keep the quality?
What Snow on the Road? 🤔
What song was the duet about middle of the video with “feels like home” in the chorus?
Feels like home by Drew Holcomb and Ellie Holcomb
