I’m going to watch the full video and take all of your advice, because just after quickly skipping through I can see that you know what you are talking about with that serve. Your technique kind of reminds me of the Zhang Jike style and although it isn’t identical, there is something about that particular technique that has always made me want to master the reverse pendulum serve. It is genuinely a beautiful serve... keep up your coaching tips, they are appreciated :)
I want to ask you what is the advantage to used this serve type. And where most effective for direction and placement of ball. Thanks bro. Great video👍
Excellent demonstration! One thing I see that about lifting the ball. Is it true that one has to lift the ball little above near the chest height to hit it parallel to chest or upper abdominal height? Regards
It actually is slightly behind the white line as it would be illegal to throw it over or on front of the table. It might be the camera angle making it look like that though
I can not hit a reverse top spin long, or out. Can you? I have actually tried for about 3 months and can not . I have hit the baseline a few times. I would love to see if it is just me.
To get it longer to start I would say try to give it a little bit of a more solid contact and swing 30% harder than you normally would. It may be a bit bouncy at first but that should give you the length, and then you can work on getting the timing better and better to increase the spin and make it lower.
@@Looeelooee I think you misunderstood my question. It was meant more as a challenge, but can you hit a reverse pendulum serve past the baseline( long - out). I have been using the serve for about a year and can’t miss it long. I have asked a few people that can hit it as well and none of them can miss it long. “It” might be super easy, but have yet to see it.

This one of the best explanation how to perform the reverse backspin pendulum serve I 've ever seen
Great tips; great slo-mo and video angles. Thanks coach.
Really good. Leg position and follow through is something I haven't thought about trying to learn this serve.
Very good explanation

That is a very well done video and explanation. Thank you for posting this.
The last tip, “ take bat back while ball is falling “ was very helpful. Thank u
Yup this is one a lot of people forget to do but it will make a big difference!
Very good vide! I see where I mess up a lot with it
