Sir whats the benefit of using exfat instead of fat32? currently my usb that im using in my ps2 slim is fat32 are there any performance difference when playing games?
@@Kamlon_CornerI found out what It was , the controller was fine, Within your game compatibility settings in OPL there is a part that says Mode 6 - In Game Reset and you have to disable it (sometimes it disables the controller whenever you boot the game ) (posting in case anyone else has this issue)
@@Kamlon_Corner i am trying to get this working but the ps2 does not see the hdd is it because it is 3.0. Unable to find an answer looking threw google

only use iso. for 9k model, you may have to go through funtuna to load mcboot, but there are some that can load mcboot directly, you can check on your ps2
No, I always have better luck with certain systems using the original hardware. xbox 360, and i forget the other one is actually backward compatible and better for modding. PS2 is better, and it is not that hard one you do your research. Hdl batch and forget opl made it easy for me.
Thanks so much! I followed your instructions and got the SSD (exfat) working in my PS2 after a few days of pure frustration.
Nice! Glad to help.. enjoy your ps2 experience bro
@@Kamlon_Corner Likewise my bro :-)
Is there an improvement on exfat internal hdd(on ps2fat) the cutsnenes of games? Is it running full speed (cutsnene) or still slugish.
performance is the same bro, it's just more convenient using hdd on exfat
That was very helpful, many thanks. Maybe leave a link to the OPL download.
Sorry I forgot to include the links for the OPL. But I have updated the links bro, check the description.

I mentioned that in the video bro. there is a limitation for fat32
Everything is running perfectly except, Everytime I try to play a game , the console refuses to detect my controller
try a different controller. If it all the same then your controller port has some issues.

What about popstarter on an exFAT internal HDD
as far as I know, the opl that supports ps1 games has no exfat compatibility
I cant get the ps2 to see the iso in the dvd folder in exfat on the internal hardrive at the back
Bro please help I can see you liking the comments 🙏
Use Hdl batch. It's easier. I don't know if it's because I used an SSD, but I have to format it on hdl batch and install all the games in one go.

any storage bro. usb or external hdd. What only matters is the format
@@Kamlon_Corner okay thanks brotha
Just use a PS3 for PS2 games. It's not worth the suffering with all the really bad tools and apps of the PS2 mod "scene"
ps3 is indeed the best place to emulate ps2 games.. But this video is for our fellow gamers who use ps2 to play ps2 games.
Ahaha. As user of 3 models of ps3 I would say if you not own full supported ps2 1st ps3 fat model, it's not worth it
