I’m a convert. I’m a retired nurse that took care of 2 Prophets! They asked if I was a member and I said no my husband would divorce me. Well 14 years later my husband was having an affair, at that point I knew my marriage was over. So I called my friend and said call the Missionaries. I was 52. The was in 2/2/02. I’m so excited to study the book of Mormon for the first time with adults. I’ve always been a primary teacher or in Relief Society Presidency. I’m excited to learn and study with you both.

WITNESS!! I’m from Layton UT. I’m excited to study the B of M this year. I’ve been going through a bit of a faith crisis and struggling. I had a cool experience just after Christmas on December 17, 1023. I had my 40th re-birthday (40 years after my birthday on Dec 27, 1983). I’ve been blessed by serving a FT mission, marrying my sweetheart in the temple and being blessed to raise 3 daughters into adulthood. I have read these into pages so many time but this time I was struck with the fact that they HEARD the voice of the Lord!! Even though I have read it, this time I felt the impact of that happening to these witnesses!! No matter how many times we read the scriptures, we can learn, be taught, and have the Holy Ghost touch our hearts and minds with these truths! I, too, know these words are true!
I always thought how cool would it be to have a miraculous witness but i realized while reading so many times that i am a witness and how many witnesses we have is twelve! It’s so cool love learning and growing more and more every time I read or study I gain more knowledge I gain more testimony. ❤

I'm happy that you have a good name for your CFM channel. Connect Up is much better than Wha-Bam! I learned about the three and eight witnesses on January 1, 2012, my first time at Church. The Spirit testified to me the authenticity of them that day. I was baptized a month and twenty-four days after that at my home Ward where I currently live in Healdsburg California.. I'm excited to witness and study the Book of Mormon this year!!!

Reading the title page this time the message changed for me. It is more personal than I have felt before. The book was translated by Joseph Smith, Jun. but the "The interpretation thereof by the gift of God" is a message to me. The interpretation is to be given to me and to anyone who accepts the challenge in Moroni 10: 3-6. I think this will change the way I read and study this wonderful gift this year. I do have a strong testimony of this wonderful gift and look forward to guidance I will receive this year. Thank you for helping me in this endeavor. I have loved your guidance through the scriptures and am excited to follow you through the Book of Mormon this year. Thank you Chelsea for staying with us; your testimony has had great positive influence on mine. THANK YOU.

Steve, that's what the Spirit said to me. "When thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren is not a one-time occurrence, Brad." Perhaps that's what I'll share at the podium Sunday. Where I can improve: I have been too garish in sharing my testimony. No more.
Witness! My family and I were baptized 1999 in the Philippines when I was in 2nd year in college(18 years old). The invitation of the missionaries to read the Book of Mormon and to ask of it's truthfulness made me and my family decide to be baptized. I felt the witness of the Holy Ghost when I prayed and ask if the Book of Mormon is true. I cried heavily as I prayed and as I was reading Moroni 10:3-5. I know in my heart that the Book of Mormon is true and that if we consistently read it and abide by its precepts and principles to be Christlike, we will get closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
I am another WITNESS that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It is the true word of God just like the Bible and testifies of Jesus Christ as He appeared to different people in the world. It is beautiful and powerful and will bring you closer to God as you prayerfully read it!!! ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for sharing your Testimony and thoughts! Thank you for reminding us that this is a supplement for our personal study and Conversion unto God. This reminded me about how I will take nutritional supplements to help aid my body. But just like I need to continually feed my body with good food, I need to study it out for myself and feast on the Lord's Gospel and words, though the Holy Spirit. "Constancy over intensity". "Process of Progress. Not flawless". But becoming more like God. I also believe that studying each scripture (in addition to or as we study other Sunday School lessons, like we just had with the Old & New Testament of the Bible), we are inspired by God and it will help us grow closer to God! It doesn't have to be an either/or, but a combination of these Canonized Scripture. For instance, this week, I noticed the word "Savior", with the word Messiah, in 1 Nephi 10. I then looked in the Bible's Topical Guide and choose to study under the heading of "Jesus Christ,...". From there, I could see references for different scriptures (including the Book of Mormon, of course) that mentioned the Titles, Prophecies, or Attributes of Jesus Christ. In this way, I was able to dig deeper into my scripture study! Also, if there was a footnote in the Bible about something I didn't quite understand, I'd look into other Scripture references from other Books of Scripture, or even within the Bible itself, and see if it could help clarify something I wanted to learn more about for that subject.
The mighty change referenced by the Come Follow Me manual this year happens through the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost. Through this mighty change and conversion, the Holy Ghost is bestowed upon us by Christ. I am not sure why these things are not taught very plainly in the church today. I hope we can all achieve the second baptism this year, but it requires God to do it; we cannot do it on our own. I know that this is true. You cannot say "mighty change" and "new creature" without saying baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost; at least that is what we see in the scriptures, especially in the Doctrine of Christ.

That's crazy long. But I love it so much. I'm really looking forward to my class this year and messaging my students already trying to psych them up. Witness The Book of Mormon can heal a person in many ways, including addictions they are struggling to overcome. Here's a thought I came up with. "if you cure your spiritual sickness it will most of the time cure your physical sickness."

Oh yes I can Witness the Book of Mormon is true! I am a convert who when the missionaries came, I had been looking, they said if you have Indian ancestors you will be interested. Well my Gr grandmother was half Cherokee so my ears perked up. I have always been blessed to know it’s true and love reading. It’s given me a more complete understanding of the gospel and Jesus Christ. This is my year to dive deeper

I'm a convert taught by the missionaries in 1985 and I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because the Holy Ghost witnessed the truth of it to me. Over the years I have been blessed with ongoing conversion line upon line, precept upon precept (I'm a work in progress 😉). That said, there is still so much to learn and room to grow and I'm loving it. Witness As I study the Word within the words of the witness of Christ in the Book of Mormon and Holy Bible, I want to be able to understand "the language of our fathers" that is used to praise, write, preach, and persuade all that Jesus is the Christ comes to all of us and He is full of grace and truth and He is Love. I know these truths are found within Him and His holy words and confirmed to me by the Holy Spirit so that I can stand as a witness of Him in any place at anytime that Jesus is the Christ, Redeemer, Lamb of God, and Savior of the World. John 1 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 ¶ John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

When beginning the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, I never bypass the Title page, the Introduction, or the Testimony of the three and eight witnesses. In and of themselves, they contain information that is key to understanding and can most assuredly provide a powerful spiritual manifestation concerning what is contained in the following 531 pages. I have signed my name along with those of the witnesses in each copy of the Book of Mormon that I have in my possession. I know that it contains the words of Christ and that He is our Savior and the Son of God. I know that this marvelous work and a wonder was translated by the gift and power of God through His prophet, Joseph Smith. I know these things for myself just as certainly as if I had been with Joseph and his brethren. So, yes, indeed, I am a witness to the veracity of the Book of Mormon. I might record the entire book again this year because it was such a powerful way for me to experience God's great love for all of his children. I look forward to another wonderful year of studying along with you, Chelsea and Steve. Happy New Year to you and your family! Love ya! Bye!
Thank you for continuing to teach. In your experience with teaching youth, how do you get them to care? I have a child who just doesn’t care. She goes to church and seminary, but only because she “doesn’t want to make me cry”. I try to do scripture study with her but her father and sister aren’t active, so it mostly consists of watching these videos a few minutes every day. We’ve had discussions. She is not anti, she just genuinely doesn’t see the point. Any recommendations for helping those that don’t care, care? I appreciate this channel and the life it brings to the scriptures. The Lamanites are not First Nations, according to my coworker who served in the Canada Winnipeg Mission. They are landbridgers, he says. Nevertheless, many Native Americans, as they are known in our country, are Lamanites. This includes Latinos. They are of the seed of Manasseh, which Lehi is as well.
I am a WITNESS that the Book of Mormon is true. I may not have seen the gold plates, but the Spirit has testified to me that they are true. God lives. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who is our Savior. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet, who, with the help of Jesus Christ, translated this divine Book. I know that President Nelson is a true prophet in these latter-days. I know these things because the Spirit has testified them to me. I love the scriptures and with your help and the help of others, I'm better at understanding the words contained in the Book. I say these things humbly, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen

I had no doubt that it was true and felt the spirit before I even knew what it was that I was feeling and the Missionaries who were teaching me explained what that feeling was. This Book was a life changing experience for me.

I'm happy that you have a good name for your CFM channel. Connect Up is much better than Wha-Bam! I learned about the three and eight witnesses on January 1, 2012, my first time at Church. The Spirit testified to me the authenticity of them that day. I was baptized a month and twenty-four days after that at my home Ward where I currently live in Healdsburg California.. I'm excited to witness and study the Book of Mormon this year!!!

Reading the title page this time the message changed for me. It is more personal than I have felt before. The book was translated by Joseph Smith, Jun. but the "The interpretation thereof by the gift of God" is a message to me. The interpretation is to be given to me and to anyone who accepts the challenge in Moroni 10: 3-6. I think this will change the way I read and study this wonderful gift this year. I do have a strong testimony of this wonderful gift and look forward to guidance I will receive this year. Thank you for helping me in this endeavor. I have loved your guidance through the scriptures and am excited to follow you through the Book of Mormon this year. Thank you Chelsea for staying with us; your testimony has had great positive influence on mine. THANK YOU.

Witness. I’ve been with you since before Chelsea joined Steve. Not as much time to view you regularly since we are serving a full time mission in Birmingham, UK. But love it when we do get to study with you.
Steve, that's what the Spirit said to me. "When thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren is not a one-time occurrence, Brad." Perhaps that's what I'll share at the podium Sunday. Where I can improve: I have been too garish in sharing my testimony. No more.
Witness! My family and I were baptized 1999 in the Philippines when I was in 2nd year in college(18 years old). The invitation of the missionaries to read the Book of Mormon and to ask of it's truthfulness made me and my family decide to be baptized. I felt the witness of the Holy Ghost when I prayed and ask if the Book of Mormon is true. I cried heavily as I prayed and as I was reading Moroni 10:3-5. I know in my heart that the Book of Mormon is true and that if we consistently read it and abide by its precepts and principles to be Christlike, we will get closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
I am another WITNESS that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It is the true word of God just like the Bible and testifies of Jesus Christ as He appeared to different people in the world. It is beautiful and powerful and will bring you closer to God as you prayerfully read it!!! ❤️🙏🏻❤️

Thank you for reminding us that this is a supplement for our personal study and Conversion unto God.
This reminded me about how I will take nutritional supplements to help aid my body. But just like I need to continually feed my body with good food, I need to study it out for myself and feast on the Lord's Gospel and words, though the Holy Spirit.
"Constancy over intensity".
"Process of Progress. Not flawless".
But becoming more like God.
I also believe that studying each scripture (in addition to or as we study other Sunday School lessons, like we just had with the Old & New Testament of the Bible), we are inspired by God and it will help us grow closer to God!
It doesn't have to be an either/or, but a combination of these Canonized Scripture.
For instance, this week, I noticed the word "Savior", with the word Messiah, in 1 Nephi 10.
I then looked in the Bible's Topical Guide and choose to study under the heading of "Jesus Christ,...".
From there, I could see references for different scriptures (including the Book of Mormon, of course) that mentioned the Titles, Prophecies, or Attributes of Jesus Christ.
In this way, I was able to dig deeper into my scripture study!
Also, if there was a footnote in the Bible about something I didn't quite understand, I'd look into other Scripture references from other Books of Scripture, or even within the Bible itself, and see if it could help clarify something I wanted to learn more about for that subject.

The mighty change referenced by the Come Follow Me manual this year happens through the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost. Through this mighty change and conversion, the Holy Ghost is bestowed upon us by Christ. I am not sure why these things are not taught very plainly in the church today. I hope we can all achieve the second baptism this year, but it requires God to do it; we cannot do it on our own. I know that this is true. You cannot say "mighty change" and "new creature" without saying baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost; at least that is what we see in the scriptures, especially in the Doctrine of Christ.

Witness... Wow you talked of how long you taught and how long Chelsie has been with you, made me think of how long I have been teaching as a volunteer Seminary teacher, wow this is my 15th year. That's crazy long. But I love it so much. I'm really looking forward to my class this year and messaging my students already trying to psych them up. I am really looking forward to this year to start (about February). I always listen to you but I aim to respond more this year. I love your enthusiasm and your love for the gospel. Hello from Idaho. I love that this year I get to witness to my youth Sunday School class the power that is in and comes from the Book of Mormon is from a loving Heavenly Father and this scripture has been given for our benefit.
Oh yes I can Witness the Book of Mormon is true! I am a convert who when the missionaries came, I had been looking, they said if you have Indian ancestors you will be interested. Well my Gr grandmother was half Cherokee so my ears perked up. I have always been blessed to know it’s true and love reading. It’s given me a more complete understanding of the gospel and Jesus Christ. This is my year to dive deeper
I want to be a witness this year of Christ. I am 43 from Riverton, UT, been a member my whole life and have NEVER read the BOM cover to cover. With your help, this is my goal. To gain a testimony of the Book of Mormon. 💕

Thank you also for sharing a part of your conversion story Chelsea. I'm a convert taught by the missionaries in 1985 and I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because the Holy Ghost witnessed the truth of it to me. Over the years I have been blessed with ongoing conversion line upon line, precept upon precept (I'm a work in progress 😉). That said, there is still so much to learn and room to grow and I'm loving it. My husband, Wayne (a good man), still hasn't seen the light, but I continue on knowing that come what may, the Lord has a plan. Have a great week.

I even added to the title in my book, “A New Creature.” I am looking forward to studying the Book of Mormon this year with you & becoming a stronger & more confident WITNESS of the Gospel & Book of Mormon.
Exactly, Chelsea. We would do well to steer clear of any context of Mormon unless it pertains to the book and the prophet in question. My fellow journalists are really disrespectful.

As I study the Word within the words of the witness of Christ in the Book of Mormon and Holy Bible, I want to be able to understand "the language of our fathers" that is used to praise, write, preach, and persuade all that Jesus is the Christ comes to all of us and He is full of grace and truth and He is Love. I know these truths are found within Him and His holy words and confirmed to me by the Holy Spirit so that I can stand as a witness of Him in any place at anytime that Jesus is the Christ, Redeemer, Lamb of God, and Savior of the World.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

When beginning the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ, I never bypass the Title page, the Introduction, or the Testimony of the three and eight witnesses. In and of themselves, they contain information that is key to understanding and can most assuredly provide a powerful spiritual manifestation concerning what is contained in the following 531 pages. I have signed my name along with those of the witnesses in each copy of the Book of Mormon that I have in my possession. I know that it contains the words of Christ and that He is our Savior and the Son of God. I know that this marvelous work and a wonder was translated by the gift and power of God through His prophet, Joseph Smith. I know these things for myself just as certainly as if I had been with Joseph and his brethren. So, yes, indeed, I am a witness to the veracity of the Book of Mormon. I might record the entire book again this year because it was such a powerful way for me to experience God's great love for all of his children. I look forward to another wonderful year of studying along with you, Chelsea and Steve. Happy New Year to you and your family! Love ya! Bye!
Thank you for continuing to teach. In your experience with teaching youth, how do you get them to care? I have a child who just doesn’t care. She goes to church and seminary, but only because she “doesn’t want to make me cry”. I try to do scripture study with her but her father and sister aren’t active, so it mostly consists of watching these videos a few minutes every day. We’ve had discussions. She is not anti, she just genuinely doesn’t see the point. Any recommendations for helping those that don’t care, care? I appreciate this channel and the life it brings to the scriptures. The Lamanites are not First Nations, according to my coworker who served in the Canada Winnipeg Mission. They are landbridgers, he says. Nevertheless, many Native Americans, as they are known in our country, are Lamanites. This includes Latinos. They are of the seed of Manasseh, which Lehi is as well.

I am a WITNESS that the Book of Mormon is true. I may not have seen the gold plates, but the Spirit has testified to me that they are true. God lives. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who is our Savior. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet, who, with the help of Jesus Christ, translated this divine Book. I know that President Nelson is a true prophet in these latter-days. I know these things because the Spirit has testified them to me. I love the scriptures and with your help and the help of others, I'm better at understanding the words contained in the Book. I say these things humbly, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen

WITNESS👊🏼🤚🏼🫶🏼 As a convert I received my testimony that the Book of Mormon is true when I read The Testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith. I had no doubt that it was true and felt the spirit before I even knew what it was that I was feeling and the Missionaries who were teaching me explained what that feeling was. This Book was a life changing experience for me.
