Nice one Jed, all the hard work looks like it has paid off in bucket loads. Hope you guys have many happy travel in her. Looking forward to the rest of the build and the forthcoming travel videos. Give us a shout if your going to take her on Strata Florida and camp in the bomb hole!! All the best. Cheers Rich
Great stuff Jed. I fancied a truck camper based on the MAN but my wife didn't want a truck camper so we settled on a 4.tonne van. Thanks for sharing the video it will be interesting watching the build.
Colorado4x4Van I like that new empty echoing apartment sound when he was talking when he was back in the box I can't wait till he get his done and I definitely can't wait till you get yours done
new to the vlog man - I love it! living in Brazil now but as soon as I settle back in Ireland with the wife n child I'll be getting stuck into the camping culture, big thanks for the inspiration!
What a great catch! We are looking to buy the MAN 8.136 as MAN 8.150 are so difficult to come by. At the moment I'm trying to find how much it will cost to get the sub frame and the box manufactured and it's proving difficult. Did you make it yourself or did you get a company to manufacture it for you? I wonder how much it comes to... Thanks!
I used Adventure Trucks in NL. I am not sure if they are doing much more of this kind of work but it is worth asking. The work they did for me was amazing and I highly recommend them.
Good stuff Looking Good and a very solid truck I got a 4x4 MAN too. They are Great fun to drive And go anywhere and everywhere With no trouble at all 😊😊😊 Have fun. 😊👍🚚🌍 I just had a nightmare trying to get mine insured As a campervan for 365 days plus. Traveling out of the UK Nearly all the company's said only 30 days or 60 days away from the UK so I've just paid a very high premium to have my new insurance 365 days plus of insurance abroad With 365+ days of breakdown cover to so it was worth it in the end I suppose As my dreams are to travel this year until I die Oneday. 😊🚚👍🌍
I am really looking forward to see your build. I did a similar build on my MAN 8.136 last year. During the build I posted the progress on a German forum. You can see the project here: www.allrad-lkw-gemeinschaft.de/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=72918 It is a great car to drive and very easy to repair and maintain. I am sure you will find it the same.

Had a big grin throughout the video. Can't ask for more than that! I absolutely cannot wait until your first adventure in the new rig.
