My son has a white VL BT1 v8 as well, ex SA police hwy interceptor, also remembering test driving a VL Candy yellow V8 interceptor at Allan Mance Holden in Sunshine, ( just came in still had the trade plates on it) when i was thinking of trading in my VK Calais which was a 6 and wanted to see the difference between the v8, etc, i took off down ballarat road towards the west from Allen mance holden and she chirped in 2nd then turned around and drove towards highpoint shopping centre right there at the lights where you turn to the left and all of a sudden, i forgot it had no Power steering and had to turn almost 90 degrees to the left after the lights there and she hand on like it was on rails was doing at least 60Km as i went through the lights there? Also in campbellfield there used to be so many car yards selling holdens and DHT's which i took all the auto cars fo4r a drive and all 5lt v8's and could not believe just how much they were thrashed compared to my VK calais, wanted a v8 calais with leather and sunroof, but none of them had any power at all? keep up the great work guys just telling a story thats all. 👍👌✌🦘😎
yep Victoria was the only state which had canary yellow BT1's but also vicroads did get the light blue BT1's as well, but only in V8's not the turbos. cheers ✌✌🦘🦘😎😎
Love everything about fullboost, has anyone ever complained about SUV and large vehicles that have lights that are shining directly in the rear windscreen, I can deal with it but I can't run with my fog lights in my b series lol
The police spokesman says EVs have lower running costs. Perhaps he should share his insights with Hertz , who found (as he will ) that reality is exactly the reverse. He could save them from selling off their EV fleet as they have been doing.
we have BMW electric cop cars in NZ but they are primarily publicity stunt to show a more eco Friendly public service. most of the time youll see a skoda superb ice wagon show up / chasing crims and dishing out traffic tickets
Cali cops were talkin bout their EVs, apparently they arnt happy having to stop at unsecure charging points with prisoners and theres no block to hide behind in a shoot out :P
@@fullboostTwice Kia EV’s have been written off in North America for the battery covers under vehicle being damaged by road debris. The vehicles did not register any fault readings on dash but the dealership deemed the cars not safe to drive. Not covered by Kia warranty and the replacement battery cost nearly as much as the car did. Insurance wrote them off. These were reported on by motoring group on YT . You can never assume fear from battery replacements is overrated 😅
Just suggesting to review and comment on melbournes street scene, heathecote dragway, calder park, drifiting, burnout events, other youtube shows, and workshops even. Might look at other vieos as I've been adsent from this channel.
I ran across this: "Aug 3, 2024 - The Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services (NTPFES) has been granted 13 new Subaru WRXs for its Traffic Police Unit". The other side of the coin, perhaps?
If we put half the money from policing speed limits to train drivers to control an out of control car the zero thing could work, but we punish capable drivers and reward the morons.
@onedayiwillmakesomecontent ever driven outside of suburbia?? loose surfaces trucks draging gravel accross corners unseald roads roos wombats sheep that have gotten out ect water
Range could depend on if they are using the factory battery setup. Many of the police pursuit vehicles are not running standard configuration. I've had the opportunity to work on some of them. Including covert pursuit vehicles.
Despite its 2100Kg weight, my Tesla Model S gets about 60,000Km out of a set of tyres, so long as you don’t push it hard and regularly check wheel alignment. I have a special EV electricity Tarif and can charge it for 8 cents a KWh overnight, so a full tank is less than $7.00, so yes it’s cheap to run. It will be 10 years old at Xmas and has done 260,000Kms and is still on its original battery which has lost about 10 - 12% capacity in that time. So the QLD Police will save a lot in fuel and maintenance costs, but as they are often driven hard, tyres and depreciation may cost them some of these savings.
“Running costs are dramatically less” yeah I’m sure the tax payers will agree with that sentiment when they see the price of battery replacements in a couple of years!
no way in hell they will get 400k's to a "tank" in those electric cop cars 😂😂😂 especially with how much the cops boot it at any chance. also all the lights & radio they put in the cop cars will drain the batteries 🤣🤣
i remember when the cops got 5 liter mustangs in the 80s and proceeded to crash them into oblivion. 0-60 in 4seconds…stand by for some serious carnage.
Podcast wouldn't work... I suppose we could hear the LS limiter but what's the use without the animations? 500km on a full charge? Wanna bet? Knight Rider would have got away from one of those no worries.
Terrible logic. Have you ever thought about how many police there are. Out-running one of them based on their range may not be a foolproof solution. Not to mention the fact that they'll probably have your reg number anyway...

Don't ever change the format boys. The editing is gold 😂
better copyright that
Yeah its nics to get a cut scene to divert from their tirade of being forever moaning bitches.
You guys need to make a new shirt “do u want me to fang it “ 😂
That's hilarious
The added clips are the best part 🤣 the overdubbed turbo sounds made me LOL
I would buy an electric car if it made that noise
"Do you want me to fang it?" 🤣😂🤣😂😅🤣😅😂🤣😅🤣😂
Electric is nice for the sit and wait, as a lot of Police vehicles have a larger amount of idle time than the average user.
is that because they doo fuck alll ...
Love everything about fullboost, has anyone ever complained about SUV and large vehicles that have lights that are shining directly in the rear windscreen, I can deal with it but I can't run with my fog lights in my b series lol
Laughed at every single “do you want me to fang it”
Benchtorque! I love this show. More Skeletor!!
13:48 Subaru owner just casually replacing their entire driveline
😂 glad someone else noticed it
😂 Ah yes... the "100,000km service"
Definitely dont ditch the editing, the memes and animations are classic.
Keep the edits up, especially the 45th-47th and infowars ones 😉
Keep up the good fight 💪
They are leased and returned to manufacture, not actioned like the old days OPT 20 AU Falcon
NSW HWY Petrol had a 600KW Dick Johnson motor😊
The police spokesman says EVs have lower running costs. Perhaps he should share his insights with Hertz , who found (as he will ) that reality is exactly the reverse. He could save them from selling off their EV fleet as they have been doing.
Hertz were using Teslas
so the police getting ev's does this mean every maccas in QLD is getting a fast charger since thats where they will spend most of their time idle
" N E R D" had me in stitches. This is awesome 😂 -do you want me to fang it-
Don't change lads style and format is bang on. The Vic Police better have that chopper on standby when the EV's run out of battery in a chase..
In comicbook guys voice
Best episode ever
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Favourite segment on my favourite channel. Today is a good day
They do have a pursuit policy here in qld but they need to ask "senior police" for it to be allowed and if seen unsafe they make the call to stop
im hungover af, the joy in my soul seeing there is a new benchtorque
The 'Ethanol' cut had me in stitches 😂
Queensland police don't engage in pursuits 10k over the speed limit...may as well be driving yellow golf buggies. Electric ones of course.
FFS 30 recharges at 90 minutes each to get from Brisbane to Cooktown 😅😂 fuck right off this is comedy gold
These police cruisers will be written off after any minor accident
2:04 lmao! That was a perfectly placed iceman
Impeccable

Welcome to government 🤣😭 that just got you another sub 👏😂
What happens if there in the middle of a pursuit and they have 10% battery left 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cali cops were talkin bout their EVs, apparently they arnt happy having to stop at unsecure charging points with prisoners and theres no block to hide behind in a shoot out :P
From Brisbane to Sydney to Melbourne they put these charging stations in the back of the dodgiest shitty ass car parks.
Tyres, price of electricity and then factor in the price of replacing the batteries and still tell me it is cheaper to run
The battery replacement fear is completely overrated.

Full boost podcast/chirping commentary yes please.
Thoughts on GR Yaris sump baffle kit since you track your car?
Awesome bench torque love it as per usual
The way you guys do it is amazing and i love it. You guys are funny and i love the added memes. Best content. Splittin bores.

Love the video boy's keep up the great work. I see the Hoon Coffee in the background. Can't believe some of the comments
Another banger fellas! Are you gonna have a bid in the Infowars auction?
If we put half the money from policing speed limits to train drivers to control an out of control car the zero thing could work, but we punish capable drivers and reward the morons.
But how did it get "out of control"?
@onedayiwillmakesomecontent ever driven outside of suburbia?? loose surfaces trucks draging gravel accross corners unseald roads roos wombats sheep that have gotten out ect water

The format is epic👌😎

Most pursuits these days get called off anyway if they take off. Better than those diesel BMWs that spend all day idling clogging DPFs and EGRs.
Been watchin you boys since ya needed a username and password to watch the latest videos, killin it fellas even 20 years later
I just come here for the memes
JEFF KENDALL .
Yellow is a cowards colour
Love the sarcasm boys. Keep it up 😂😂😂Lol
It’s ok, he was fanging it in Mexico
Hi speed pursuit... police: "pause the pursuit I gota charge my bt1, be right back"😂😂😂 Best Car for a battery fire😂😂😂
First time I've watched Bench Torq. Interesting format, take the piss out of the comment section, what could go wrong there.
They will never get 500 klm to a charge, not while they’re sitting in the car with the a/c going 🥵😂
“Running costs are dramatically less” yeah I’m sure the tax payers will agree with that sentiment when they see the price of battery replacements in a couple of years!
YA SEE MAN IT ISN'T THE SPEED THAT KILLS IT'S THE SUDDEN STOP - REB \ RUNNING ON EMPTY
Go watch MCM if you don't like the meme editing 😂
THEY'D BE STUFFED IF SOMEONE LEAD THEM OUT IN TO THE BUSH
Please dont change a thing
4:56 yeh think so, SA had that shit light blue colour.
Hahaha so many legit bt1s 😂
These EVs will be an expensive and inconvenient waste of time and taxpayer dollars, without doubt. Yes, bring back the AU! HAHA
I would listen to a podcast
no way in hell they will get 400k's to a "tank" in those electric cop cars 😂😂😂 especially with how much the cops boot it at any chance. also all the lights & radio they put in the cop cars will drain the batteries 🤣🤣
You can always beat the motor, but you will never beat the motorola...
QLD police also have unmarked versions in white of the EV6
i remember when the cops got 5 liter mustangs in the 80s and proceeded to crash them into oblivion. 0-60 in 4seconds…stand by for some serious carnage.
Now they can more recklessly chase reckless drivers. 🤦♂️
Hey Luke have you done a review on the Hoon coffee yet ??
