A few manufacturers already got busted selling vehicle telemetry data to auto insurance companies in America. Without new laws that ban the collection and transfer of this data, it will become industry standard.
That's because it's easier (and more profitable) to drop speed limits than...idk...fix the roads 😂, it's all about revenue here, why have economic diversity when you can just increase taxes and bring in new tax payers.

5:14 "These looses doing 40 under entering a freeway" are everywhere in Vic and even if it has it's own lane to enter the freeway they immediately move over to the next lane still doing 60 in a 100 zone. If you hooligans drove to conditions, maybe 20-30km/h under the posted speed limit, the posted speed limit is only a recommendation, you don't HAVE to drive that fast and drive like a bogan madman, then you wouldn't have to worry about the pot holes, your cars would be fine. And maybe stop putting ridiculous 22s on your car, 16s are fine, give you some sidewall, again the pot holes aren't a problem then. Just drive a ute like the rest of us, plenty of power to have some fun in a GWM or Ssangyong.

Moreland Council in Melbourne lowered speed limit to 40kph , 2 years ago . That's Brunswick , Coburg , Fawkner , Pascoe Vale , Oak Park and Glenroy . Anywhere off the Main Roads is now 40kph . Even Sydney Road is 40kph . With 40kph through Shopping Strips , School Zones that are 40kph permanently even on Weekends when there's no School . And don't get me started on fucking Speed Bumps , it's a joke , Council can afford to build a Million Speed Bumps but can't afford to fix the bloody Potholes . Bicycle Lanes everywhere that nobody uses .Council hates Cars .

In American 40kmh is 25mph. Holy 💩 that is slow. 30kmh is 18mph. That is absolutely brutal. I can ride a bike faster than that.
The Netherlands have speedzones of 15 km/u or 9mph. And you will get fined if you bike to fast.
