Hi there. Off topic. Anyone have any legit contacts with Card Hobby from China. This Chinese company is honestly holding 20k USD worrth of my purchases hostage. DM's and emails to prove. If anyone has any contacts with this company it'd be greatly appreciated. They were at the Dallas card show this past weekend and will be at the National.

Japan is such an awesome country, the order and organization can be seen everywhere you go! Awesome to see it on display here.
Agreed!

Ichiro was one of my favorite baseball players as a kid. Loved watching him in his prime. It's exciting times what Ohtani has been doing past few years, and what it means for the sport. Really cool that's leading to a new generation of collectors in Japan. Great video. Thanks for the tour, Geoff
Definitely like ichiro. Japanese goat. 1 of them at least.
Japan is sooo beautiful and awesome, so its on my bucket list to visit!
Look at how beautiful, clean and organized those stores are.
Everyone needs to visit Japan. By far my favorite ppl outside of US.
This has to be one of the most amazing videos I've ever seen I had no idea this place existed thank you so much for sharing this is why I love your Channel
Wow, I wasn't expecting this! I'm a native Portland Oregonian but I live in Kyoto, Japan and I watch your videos almost every morning before I leave for work. I hope you get to come out and visit Kyoto sometime, it's really the soul and spiritual center of Japan! I'm glad you and your family are getting to experience Japan's beauty!
Thank you for your introduction. We came back from Tokyo last week. On this trip we visited MINT Shinjuku, Shibuya and Kichiji stores. My son is very happy and harvests a lot, this is his dream trip.
Fantastic!!!
Hey Geoff! Your video gave me goosebumps. You may have noticed the gentleman said Version 1 BBM is the most prized set in Japan. There’s a group of us that have been collecting Shohei’s 2013 BBM 183 Version 1 and their parallels for a while now. All of the BBM are low print run (consensus 10,000 base), only about 12 different sets, but BBM is the premier manufacturer in Japan. They do all of the signings for the players. The 183 Version 1 Gem 10 was selling for $500 six months ago. $2900 sale yesterday. Most people are asleep at the wheel still on these though. Given the limited supply versus 2018, these are indeed rare treasures. To get a parallel 183 Gold, Holo, or Red. So rare!
Pandora's box is opened.
No longer will we collect rare 2013 Ohtani Japanese True Rookie cards at such criminally low prices.
Everyone, enjoy ride while you can.
One of the top places that I want to go and visit in the future. Great to see the influence of cards over there and it looks like the kids had a great time. See you at the National!
I enjoy watching you and your children enjoying the hobby. Your an awesome father.
I wish this video was longer 😅 I love Japanese culture and sport cards, great mixture of two awesome things.
Thanks for highlighting the sumo cards! There is a modest group of sumo card collectors from around the world!
8:55you can tell who is into Pokémon and who isn’t 🤣🤣
Perfect timing for me-heading to Tokyo tomorrow and planned to hit some of the card shops-thanks for the intel!
Holy. The selection and presentation of singles is incredible. So much more organized than the majority of shops we have in the US. What a fun experience.
fr
The organization and display cases are tremendous. What care and pride the Japanese have in their businesses. Vertical displays would save our backs!
That must have been such an amazing experience for you & the kids, I felt like I was over there having an awesome time while watching! The Japanese Pokemon Culture is truly a skeptical to behold & l love how much they've embraced sports cards, as well! GREAT VIDEO!
I was in Tokyo in late June 2023, and it was awesome to see some of these places that Ive been too before!
Dope to see there is a scene out there... LESSS GOOO
This is AWESOME. Thank you for sharing, Geoff.
Came here just to see the brief glimpse of the BBM Sumo cards. Hakkeyoi!
Japan takes everything that we do and does it better!!!!!!! Love it there.
Those BBM Ohtani rookies are fire. I like how you said TRUE ROOKIE!
I've been dealing with Japanese baseball cards since 1989. The market in Japan has been growing every year.
Wow one of the best videos I’ve seen on UA-cam. Would love to see more countries get into the hobby since it’s such a fun hobby
Great experience seeing this. Thank you for the show.
Probably one of the coolest episodes I’ve seen. Thanks for sharing.
THIS IS SO COOL TO SEE , THANK YOU, SO INTERESTING AND SUCH A TREAT TO SEE STUFF IN JAPAN WHEN 99% I WONT BE THERE IN PERSON TO ACTUALLY SEE THIS. SO THANK YOU.
Great video, Geoff! Safe travels to you, sir!
Thanks for bringing us along, awesome!
Japan known for its class and presentation. Great to see and I have to go visit one day! The Ohtani rookie Japanese cards surely a good long term play. And Japan get a lot of nice trading card exclusives as well. I would’ve had a field day visiting all those places. Thanks for the video, man! 👍
Epic video! Collecting is everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!
How awesome is Tokyo and the card scene. I am always amazed at how other countries enjoy the hobby. Thank you for the very cool video Geoff!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
So cool you got to do this with your boys. Hope to do this sort of thing when my boys grow a little a more.
I think Geoff looks like that guy on the Liberty insurance commercials. DOUG!
Thanks for this video showcasing card shops in Japan!
SO COOL!!!!!! THANK YOU 4 SHARING!!!
Those Japanese card shops are HUGE and futuristic! 😮
And nice 2013 BBM Ohtani rookies! 😀

Awesome 👍 CARD HEAVEN,,,,YOU MADE IT🎉
Wow. Wow. Absolutely amazing
Awesome video. I live in Tokyo and went to the mint store recently, such a cool place a nice staff
Thanks for always sharing the hobby all over. Just amazing how big Japans hobby seems to be potential bigger than US. Wonder how the $$$ spent is compared to how our market has been over the last 3 years?
Went in business to Tokyo in January went to the mint akihabara the place that has lights everywhere. Very large store and great atmosphere
Great content! Really enjoyed that video!
Awesome video! It's nice to see sports cards and pokemon thriving!
Those 2013 Ohtani cards are beauties 😍 print runs must be very modest
Fun video!
Awesome store. The Mint stores look amazing. We need the here in the states
BEST VIDEO EVER!
Cool video!! Thanks for letting us tag along.
Awesome tour thank you
❤
I like personally like Card Fanatic, also in Shibuya most:)
They also have hockey😊
Awesome trip
Man I wish I was a smart and savvy investor like you!
Excellent content, keep it up 👍🏻
Very cool video. I enjoyed seeing the culture.
I have a Bowman Chrome Kensuke Kondoh true red wbc 3/5, would love to sell in Japan. Thanks for the support!
Amazing share Geoff, I am visiting Japan in September & will definitely check these suggestions out! Will your team be at Burbank this August?
I think the most underrated ohtani card is the team set rc. It's a really nice photo of him batting and I believe one of if not his first Topps card. Very low pop count as well
Wow looks like card heaven that’s crazzyyy!!
Geoff Wilson is the fool who says Lorcana will overtake Pokémon 😂
Love the vids keep it up
What a video! Electricity must not cost as much as in America because the lighting is so intense everywhere.those stores would cost a fortune just to keep the lights on here in the U.S.
I will be there in 2 months time, cant wait yooooo
It was Mewtwo in the pod.
Truly amazing
Nice to see a Japan card shop. It should be mentioned Japan has strict privacy laws and that you should not freely film like that. Don't film people without their consent and children should be blurred out (not yours of course) just film the cards and shop if consent s given.
New Japan Wrestling is big over there. I wish u asked about Wrestling Cards.
Just fantastic places
Great vid!!
So cool 😎
Great video 🌮 🌮🌮🌮
Japan has the best toy stores and also live bootleg music stores mainly in Shinjuku. Big rock stars shop there too. Love Japan. Have fun.
Hope you get a chance to visit Diver City Plaza Mall to see the large Gundam and the Gundam base store.
I wish you had another channel for other TCG/ non sport cards I love the videos tho even still
Good video!
Great content
great video
Every Card Shop is like The Apple Store :)
Unbelievable video… I really enjoy it. Is nice seeing other countries getting involved in the cards there is a lot of money to make in this hobby. I hope it continues to grow..👏👍🙏☮️✝️🇺🇸 from Louis 🙂
No vintage or Sadaharu Oh? Hopefully you grabbed some Roki Sasaki and Munetaka Murikami? Definitely should have grabbed the Lebron James - Mamba's choice at 10:43 though !!!!
Another great video, guys!
I don’t know why people hate on Jeff, He is soooo positive and doing so much to create positivity to the hobby and more importantly he is doing it along side his sons and family Awesome dad Jeff! Keep it up and don’t listen to the haters. would love to meet you some day Jeff
Yeah, really positive the hobby....😂
why watch his videos then if you don’t like him?
I hate seeing the negativity towards him. It’s unfair. Yeah, he’s in it to make money, but he’s also a collector. Just enjoy the cards and shit, man.
@@DST1126 so I know what not to buy......I watch them because i do like his positive and sunny disposition honestly. And he's a family man. Love him having his boys involved. But let's be honest, the hobby doesn't need videos about what to buy (which always tanks and inflates prices), and I just don't appreciate the hobby I've loved for 30 plus years being flooded with people profiting off for basically doing nil and being rewarded for it while at the same time contributing to the ridiculous prices that have occurred. I'm glad it's crashing. Hope most "investors", breakers, and commentators move on to the next pay day. And leave this where it was.
@@nas84payne absolutely. Your tax dollars are paying for his cards. So cheers.
very cool video.. something different
I’m surprised everything is locked up. I thought that stealing would be non-pretty much non-existent in Japan.
It's not locked up from stealing. It's for protection from damages.
Another reason to visit Japan
00:00 - 06:00 Sports cards, baseball, sumo, soccer etc etc
06:00 - speedrunning, not really showing anything (magic the gathering, pokemon, one piece etc) but then starts showing sports cards again.
I guess its a great video if you only care about sports cards and maybe a few pokemon cards. anything else isnt rly getting screen time.
fair enough. but i wish it was more obv in the title.
love your passion for the sports cards tho
Its Mewtwo! 🤣🤣🤣
This was so cool!
What the………just Kobe and Ohtani only in Japan?
There was no mention of his official card the 2013 BBM first version🤯
So awesome!!!!
Ohtani is great but let’s not act like he’s the first great Japanese player. Ichiro, Dice K and Koji Uehara for the Red Sox and now Yoshida Masataka also with the Red Sox. The game of baseball has seen a lot of great players from Japan over the last 30 years. They deserve to be mentioned here along with Ohtani
Ohtani is in a different stratosphere than each of those players you mentioned. He needs to play on the East coast because as popular as he is, I think he is still underrated because he is with the Angels.
@@billsmafia_ I don’t believe he needs to move to an East coast team at all just be on a better one. He could go to a lot of places and things could be the same or worse for him.
I know a man BIGGER than Shohei Otani his name is Akebono!😂 Literally
I would love to see you get more involved with TCG cards like magic the gathering and yugioh, it is such an amazing side of card collecting that your audience deserves to be exposed to!
That was Mewtwo
Damn I need to go back to Japan !!
