I actually enjoyed the Mandolorian and Ashoka. Without Mandolorian we wouldn't have Grogu/Baby Yoda/The Child so if you hate the Mandolorian you hate Grogu/Baby Yoda/The Child and how can you hate him.
Dot hate either Ahsoka or Mando, but both were extremely disappointing. Mando 1 and 2 were great 3 was meh. Ahsoka had great moments but the show as a whole was a mess.

I think they didn't know what to do with _The Mandalorian_ when the story was complete and The Child was given to Luke. So they just did a reset, which was stupid. Obviously he should have had Jedi training and returned to Mando fully trained after weeks, months or years. As for Ahsoka, I guess you had to watch her show, since there was so many references to other things and people, I felt like I was coming in on Season 2.
Im pretty sure all of the “jewels” (planets) had the same hiding systems that At Atin has, only at least on At Achraan they were cooked, they showed them to us when they arrived there , in the other hand is safe to say this “old” republic is probably referring to high republic, mostly for the lightsaber found on that one cave , I only hope that the end is not Open, and that we get an actual ending of the story 😢 Great video !!
As someone who has been reading (and viewing) The High Republic Multimedia initiative, since 2021, I absolutely love that significant elements and lore from that 400-plus-years-long epoch in The SWU may have direct connections to Skeleton Crew. That's the whole point of this era in Star Wars storytelling...connectivity and allusion. The fact that The 9 Jewels Of The Old Republic seem to have been destroyed/disabled sometime around 200 to 300 years (the time of The Great Works of The Republic) before the events of Skeleton Crew, intrigues me with the thoughts that the events linked to The Great Hyperspace Disaster, Marchion Ro and The Nihil, The Drengir, The Nameless, and The Blight may have heavily contributed to these "Gem Planets'' " perils. Those atmospheric satellites look insanely similar to both the satellites seen in the Star Wars video game, SW: Battlefront (which were the primary weapons of mass destruction in Operation Cinder), and in Phase Three of The High Republic's output, depicting The Stormwall, made up of intricate, hidden, deadly satellite arrays, sectioning off a large swath of The Outer Rim, creating The Occlusion Zone. One wonders if Palpatine managed to find a way to appropriate that technology for his own murderous intent. One also is inclined to wonder if Marchion Ro became informed of this technology from an important insider, who had knowledge of these elaborate protection grids that were exclusive to those unique planets, and he fashioned it to his advantage to annex parts of The Republic for Nihil-space. Honestly, I don't believe that Watts and Ford are going to be doing intensive dives in to High Republic history. It's just that it will connect to that time period. I mean, Tak Rennod has yet to be mentioned in any content related to The High Republic...just like, The 9 Jewels Of The Old Republic haven't either. That bothers me...since, it negates the whole motive for The Lucasfilm Story Group. I hate that I'm immersed in a collection of SW content, yet it barely gets referenced within the various mediums. That's a loss and a disservice to the overall SWU. Now, mind you: I HATED THE ACOLYTE. It was the worst depiction of the worst aspects and tendencies of The High Republic Multimedia Initiative. Plus, the series' biggest crime was that it really ISN'T representative of much/most of the history related to those 400-plus years; since it takes place literally during the final weeks and days of that lengthy time period. Barely anything from the books, comics, audio dramas, and video games are addressed in Headland's monstrosity. My biggest fear is that Kennedy & Co. tasked The Mandoverse with "justifying" the events and concepts of The Sequel Trilogy...making the discovery and ravaging of At-Attin, the explanation for the existence of The First Order. That would almost ruin the whole series, for me. I do believe that the many murals are very revealing of the truth to the group of planets' existence and their charter. I think if you want the Supervisor to be someone other than a droid, A.I., computer or autopilot, then being a droid would be "a nothing burger." They've been talking about droids all season: safety droids, "a droid will always let you down," no operating droids on At Achrann, "you droids don't listen," and "better than dealing with a droid." It's a kids' show and needs to be straightforward: what they say is what you get. They didn't say that all 9 planets were run by droids, or how they were found and destroyed. But maybe they fell from within in rebellion against the droid overseers? I think that the droids will give a Midi-chlorian test to Jod and he passes, thus confirming his identity as the Emissary, because it has to be a Force-user like a Jedi and Jod qualifies! Then the Supervisor is a droid, but won't listen to the kids or their parents saying he's a fraud, a liar, a pirate and a thief because he passed the test. Jod thought he had to take the mint by force with his frigate, but the Supervisor will just give him whatever he asks for! But then Jod doesn't believe it! He thinks he's going to be backstabbed leaving the planet, or by his pirates, or won't be allowed to return, so he has a complete meltdown where the _Onyx Cinder_ is full of credits but he dare not leave! The only way out of that will be if another Force-user shows up (Luke Skywalker), who will have authority with the Supervisor once he's been proven as well. But Jod won't let that happen, so fights him and loses pretty quickly (about the same time it took for Vader to disarm Luke in _The Empire Strikes Back:_ "All too easy."). They both say they've only had two weeks of Jedi training, but Luke's the real thing!
Well he probably crashed 100-200 years ago, so "Old Republic" to him probably meant "High Republic" to us, maybe 1000 years ago, when they aspired to "Great Works." I don't think there's any secret meaning to the murals other than being part of a "Great Work" that's supposed to help the Republic and the galaxy. So you're believing in something greater than yourself and your daily survival, and you tolerate the sacrifice of being cut off from the rest of the galaxy like a monastery.
If anyone follows pro wrestling, pushing the High Republic down our throat is the equivalent of pushing a wrestler that you want to be your next star even though a large number of people don't like or care. Lucasfilm is so desperate for people to like Rey or the High Republic that they will continue to shove something that isn't working in our face. Good video.
