AnneMarie, you made me like you so much more. Love how you said you helped the older people with patience. And you are the first artist I watched when I started painting a few months ago. You’ve taught me so much. Thanks and God bless you
You make me smile Annmarie. 😊 I hear you talking and you sound just like me! lol I'm a disabled Veteran and have lost a lot of enjoyment in my life due to pain. I've been watching your videos for a week and am going to try my first painting today. Don't stop being you... you're down to earth and real. I like that. Take care and God bless.
You are the most lovely lady to be so patient with the oldies - I'm an oldie too and I appreciate your gentleness and patience in your videos. Don't worry about the nasties, there are only a few of those and thousands of us.
annemarie ..you are a delight. i wish i had you for my teacher at school life would have been so much better.I have been watching for months( had to work google out it out)I finally got the results I love thx to you.Keep being you cos thats who we love being with.I'm 73 in Aussi and you make my day thanks so so much.
have you ever thought to put a blank canvas under every painting so when it's dripping off the sides it falls onto another canvas underneath? can't help but notice how pretty the paint that dripped off looks on the plastic
Another fantastic video. Really goes to show that you never get the same thing twice! Love that you just poured on top of the 2nd canvas. It turned out so pretty. You are so amazing and I really appreciate all you do for us, experienced and novice pourers!
Wow! Beautiful! Thank you for doing your videos in English! I was a tomboy too and l loved making mud pies and climbing trees but in Texas. :) Thank you again! Love your art!
BEAUTIFUL!! Anybody would be happy and proud to have a pour turn out like yours. Each and every video of yours, so far is amazing.Today I try my hand at this, wish me luck..
Yes...I love those calls...and if someone in my team doesn`t I will have a serious talk about why they don`t.the first 5 min should be to calm them and let them start following directions stress free. What most call center agents don`t understand is that older people don`t really like calling a help desk...some are afraid.♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥ ♥Thank you for watching ♥
that is so BEAUTIFUL!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the strong bold color changes and squiggly lines.... headed out beginning of next week to track down some treadmill silicone oil.... i can't hardly wait, lol... thank you so much for doing this experiment... so cool that you chose my idea (and probably a lot of other avid watchers) so much fun everyday to join you :-)
Feel like i get to get to know you all the way in Holland and im in Alaska, I look forward to your videos every morning, can't seem to start my day without watching your videos, Love your positive attitude keep it up! Sometime I would love to see you do larger canvas with full coverage and keep your cells dancing like you do on the smaller canvases. can't wait to see the next ones.
Annemarie Ridderhof Good intention you have torched it, it is the final touch. The first one has something from the universe, lovely abstract, and the cells are so beautiful. The beauty is in the detail isnt it. You are pouring so nice. I can say I like every piece you are creating.
Who loves everything about Annmarie? Annemarie we love your demeanour, your fragility, your humanness. You share without a filter. Unreserved. I don't know how I tumbled onto your page, but am grateful for your presence. Thank you for your amazing nature. Regards, Anthony
Very good idea JAH. I already did it, sending to Annemarie. And remember, if you give, you will also get. So much fun to look at the videos, its color therapy.
Hi Annemarie, I've been watching your videos for a few weeks now!!! I haven't yet achieved my goals, but I really think I will with your instruction!! You make me smile, giggle and laugh!! I love watching and listening to you!!! I look forward to having coffee with ya too. You truely are inspiring and I hope you keep making your videos.....you are pretty awesome 😊
As I just underwent foot surgery, I had an opportunity to see this video and I had to tell you that I really enjoyed watching your painting tutorial and have to say that your paintings were beautiful.
I love those colours and like you say it is amazing how using exactly the same paint can give you such different results. I'm just now playing with the treadmill oil having had the spray and think I might like that better but need to do more experiments. Love the way the brown came through the blue in the second one (and loved it before you put more paint on ha ha!). Your paintings are always so beautiful.
you are sooooo right about elderly people & remote control issues. I'm was constantly helping my mother in law UNTIL. I put tape over her remote & wrote her a cheat sheet. Then for her 80th birthday, her sons decided it was a good idea to get her a fancy laptop.....she never used a computer before. I am the tech person, therefore, I was to teach her. OMG, I aged 15 years. lol. eventually she was set for email and browsing the Internet. lol. I love your kindness, you have a beautiful soul.
I know how older people get all nervous...my hubby is the same...I tell him what to typ and then say hit enter....he has to look over the keyboard to find the enter button...that`s how good he is with computers......ah well he has other qualities... ♥♥♥ Thank you and Thank you for watching ♥♥♥
Hahaha, well done Annemarie, a little bit of restraint. I knew you could do it! Your chit chat struck a chord with me as I have had 7 breast lumps removed during my working life, but I have been very lucky in that all have proved to be benign. You have been through a rough time, not just you because cancer involves all your family too. However, you are a lady after my own heart, whatever life throws at you, you stay strong and fight back. Waiting for the worst doesn't bear thinking about, life is too precious for that. It is so important to live every day to the full. Stay strong lovely lady, take care in wafting that torch lols, not too much!xx
I prefer the spray silicone. I've just like the formation of pattern along with the lacing. Annemarie I like the new places you're taking us to with your color choices.
Oh my gosh, you're awesome! You had me dying laughing when you were explaining how you teach the older people how to use their t.v. remote! "Don't worry about the big button, they aren't going to read it anyway". 😂🤣 I love your videos. Your Canvases turn out beautiful & very instrumental when teaching us your techniques, & tricks of the trade!!:) Blessings Always!💚💙💜
Oh my goodness you make me laugh out loud with your torch temptation. Every decision you make is the right one and you end up creating such stunning art. You are an inspiration to us all - art wise and human wise. Thanks so much. Cheers (red wine) Deb Templeton
I so agree. I am on the phones all day to for a physician practice and the elders are my favorite. They make me smile. YOU ARE SO RIGHT Annemarie. Just tell them which button. They don't need all the technical about it.
Wow! that second one went from blah to spectacular! Amazing! I do think you overdid the torching on the first one ;) Made me laugh when you said 'put the torch down and back away slowly ;)
LOVE your video and love the second pour. I’ve always wondered if I could just pour over another pour and see what happens. Spot on with the beautiful colors! I’m running out today to get some treadmill silicone!
Oh Annemarie, these paintings are breathtaking. I can't wait to see them dry and vanished. My mug arrived today but Haley won't let me use it till Thursday ( my 50th birthday) I'll be toasting you while you go to your meeting at Royal Talens. :)
Love both paintings after you ribboned the second one. I use silicone treadmill oil and love it! Especially since it doesn't smell! Have a great day :)
I would not have torched the big cells as I kind of like the big ones, but it turned out beautiful. Thank you for all your teachings, been watching the last week or so, love it!
I am watching video 143 and I think there are too many cells on the paintings. Of course, that is my opinion. You have taught me so much and I can hardly wait for the next day to see what you are going to do now.
Love your work Annemarie. Your husband sounds special as well. You need more room in your studio:-). Decoart triple glaze sold out in Australia. Now I have to wait. Keep the videos coming, I love orange, could you do one with that in it. Stay happy.
I do like the larger cells from the Treadmill silicone however, it's nice to have a variance with spray silicone. I suppose it's a matter of preference. Thanks for showing the difference!
You sound like me, when I was a kid, I loved to make mud cookies. My grandfather had a fireplace in the back yard and I used to put the mud cookies on top and let them dry. I guess that's why I like to bake, I GUESS!!!! LOVE THE SILICONE LIQUID! I use it but NO torch.
I like the second one better, much more complex than the first one. Both beautiful. The first one has an island in the middle and the second one has like a turquoise necklace top right.
I have a few varnishing videos...use this.... drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B9Z9sgTTQsCOREEwdGNIQXRMdkE It has all the keywords to the videos.... ♥♥♥ Thank you and Thank you for watching ♥♥♥
I also liked the design of the second one before you messed with it - The turquoise negative space in the lower center gave a quiet place to rest your eye - I also like the orange in the lower right-hand corner - The finished one was great too - I agree, sometimes too much torching destroys the overall design - Knowing when to stop is hard
LOL when I first read this I thought u were putting it on a treadmill, instead of spinning it as an experiment..... it's been a reeeeaaalllyyyy long crappy week...thanks for the unintended laugh!
I was just watching two AnnMarie videos at the same time (one on my tv and one on my phone!!!) and I got so confused “wait I thought she said she didn’t have silicone today and she’s using silicone??? What’s happening?!” LOL oh my, I’ve become obsessed and I’m easily confused sooooooo Anyway!!! Thanks for all the info! I wish I could watch all your videos at once hahah

20:00 Not torching that last piece completely was a good thing (although you never know until you've actually done it). Contrast is important and not having cells all over the picture gives contrast. I like its colors and patterns very much.
hi. I did my first ever pour today using treadmill silicone. I was very nervous. I liked what I saw except my canvas is showing through some of the cells. did I need to use more paint?
Two things. First. You're my new best friend. Second. Since I always use white, is it alright to mix a tube of titanium white, water, and pouring medium and floetrol and have it handy in a jar or bottle?
I would only mix paint , pouring medium and store that...then when I wanted to pour add 5-10% floetrol and the silicone. But you could try to mix it all and see how it works...I might do that too...not everyone pours every day. ♥♥♥
AnneMarie, you made me like you so much more. Love how you said you helped the older people with patience. And you are the first artist I watched when I started painting a few months ago. You’ve taught me so much. Thanks and God bless you
♥♥♥ Thank you sooooo much and thank you for watching♥♥♥
I love that! I love that you make mistakes and show us how to fix it. Thank you for making these, I love your work!!!!! 💜
Thank you I really appreciate it!....♥♥♥
Same!💙
I love your colors💗 That dark blue is so beautiful. My favorite is the first one. They both really turned out so pretty.😍
Thank you....♥♥♥
I love this lady, she is such an excellent teacher. She had a sweet patience and just awesome. Just found her today.

Great stuff I've done a couple makes a change from my normal painting
have you ever thought to put a blank canvas under every painting so when it's dripping off the sides it falls onto another canvas underneath? can't help but notice how pretty the paint that dripped off looks on the plastic
I did once before...it was a mess.
♥ Thank you ♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
If it falls onto clear plastic, it will dry into a thin sheet of plastic that can be pulled off and used for jewelry, etc.
Another fantastic video. Really goes to show that you never get the same thing twice! Love that you just poured on top of the 2nd canvas. It turned out so pretty. You are so amazing and I really appreciate all you do for us, experienced and novice pourers!

So beautiful!! I love how you are very detailed and take your time when pouring the paint! The final results of the paintings are so beautiful!!

hi. I did my first ever pour today using treadmill silicone. I was very nervous. I liked what I saw except my canvas is showing through some of the cells. did I need to use more paint?
No...just a tiny bit thicker....and you can fill in the spots with matching paint dripped from the stir stick or a paletknife.

And what is this triple thick thing you talk about. What a difference and how beautiful it made the colors pop
I stopped using it...it started to crack after the new packaging...♥
Love the end result BEAUTIFUL.

Really nice . Good thing the small iPad is behaving I don't want you to have to put it in time out lol
LOL...I`ll say it again you crack me up....love your humor....!!
Great video! And a you made me laugh again! :)
LOL... glad I did....♥♥♥
I need as much laughter in my life as I can get! Thank you for brightening my days. ❤❤❤
Two things.
