Thank you so much for your informative videos. I am a beginner and your generosity and willingness to freely share your knowledge is wonderful and so helpful. If only that generosity were true of everyone! I am just starting to get effects I like. Thank you again!
Your color palettes are just exquisite and your creations are effortlessly sophisticated. The masters always make it look so easy! Please keep creating!
This is fabulous! Somehow dramatic! Because of the acrylic pouring painting technics is a little bit expensive for me, I will try this PVA glue method! Thank you dear Annemarie!
I'm using PVA and SUUUPER cheap craft acrylic paint. I'd like to try with the more expensive things someday but we'll see. I'm having trouble figuring out how much paint to mix. Such a fun process to learn and watch so many of your videos
I just found you and I'm thoroughly entertained watching you create! I think you explain the process more thoroughly than others do. I really like how this one turned out! Keep 'em coming, plz.
Sounds great!...with a little story about colours...kids love that....that in reality there is no colour...makes them very interested in nature. 💚Thank you and ♥Thank you for watching💚
I work in a paint shop and the full gloss spectrum goes: Flat, Matte, Low Sheen, Satin/Semi-Gloss, Gloss, High Gloss. There is still a lot of variation in the levels of gloss depending on whether the product being used is oil based (Glossier) or water based. Great video by the way, thanks heaps for the info, going to try this today.
Love those colours and the cells look great. I have found that the PVA does make the paint thicker which can be useful if you make it too runny in the first place!
Thank you for trying that with the PVA glue I really liked it so will try it my self. The cells are different!! Big plus when retired is way cheaper that liquitex.
Yes, please do the relax video, I bet you'll be great at it, and I can't wait to see what you come up with. Your channel is amazing, so much fun, and relaxing indeed. Dankjewel!
Can you also use this as a medium for a Dutch pour? Thank Annemarie for a very comprehensive tutorial . You share your techniques without keeping the info. More power to you!
It's fascinating how the pouring medium/Glue, the colour, and the silicone interact. I was wondering if you left Silicone out of the maain colour - what effect that woudl have, or Silicone in only one colour.
I LOVE your videos!! Random crazy thought...I wonder what would happen if one added a little nail polish remover as a spray or drip after pouring? Wondering if it would separate the colors in an interesting way?
I loved your tutorial, dear Annemarie. And I found myself talking to you. Matte, I said and then you said that too. hahahaha! Thanks for the language lesson. xxx
i love your videos! i would love to see some more useing other substitutes for pouring meduim, i have not been able to get my hands on any and im itching to try this new media!
I am a new artist so am still seeing new things every time O go to UTube !!Just came across your pour painting videos and WOW !! I'm really into this soooo much, i loveeeee it, I have been for 3 days straight watching you, I went shopping yesterday and I'll look for the torch today, I can't wait to do it, I have a one week vacation and it has been so relaxing, honestly I don't want to go back to work, lol, I work in the medical field and I started to question my self about choosing the wrong career, no, just kidding, I really believe that we all are artists in our essence and no matter what you do in life, your creative inner self will always be there ready awaiting for you to be ready. It's amazing the powerful influence that art has in our well being or well feeling. With this technique you don't need to have drawing skills or knowledge about perspective, however you can accomplish beautiful results, just knowing a little about color theory, etc., I'll be back to work in a couple of days and I also study photography, I'm pretty busy but always have time for art I have a little studio where I spend most of my time off, thanks so much Annemarie, you are doing an excellent job, it is amazing how the Internet makes us closer, I feel that you live next door, by the way your English is excellent.

Hi. Would love to see gloss medium used as a pouring medium. See how or if it works. Loving your videos. I'm a complete newby and you're very informative
Keep them coming love learning. Just got me some glue I have tried some on my handmade low fired clay with liquitex but was wondering about the glue. Sad Mud
That was interesting. Yes but for the dutch pour you need thinner paint...and don`t over do the colours...not too much color or the effect will be different.
annemarie ridderhof Thank you so much Annemarie. You are a joy to watch!

no and no.... no cells without silicone.

Nice video. When you use the torch do you let the flame touch the painted surface or just come close enough to heat it?
I swipe in a fast motion...I can torch my hand when it`s covered in paint....it`s all in the swipe and never hold the torch in one place.....never let anything burn....♥♥♥ Thank you ♥♥♥

How long will PVA + ACRYLIC paint last before cracking or falling Off the canvas ?
yes...silicone makes the cells.
It won`t crack or fall off.

Fascinated by this, never seen it before. I don't have a blowtorch. Do you think it would work with a heat gun.
It will move the paint all over the place but it gives a nice effect.

at walmart, you can get a grill lighter that has a torch tip. $7 it works for small paintings. but if you want nice big cells, get a mini torch- cheap from harbor freight tools
Mary Prather thanks 👍
I am new to this. What is the function of the silicone? Does the torching simply dry the paint faster, or does it make the paint 'cook up' to form bubbles?
