Thanks, I just bought a used 2022 Aerox today. Didn't even realize it has Y connect till I got home. Looks like maintenance and error codes are the only really useful features. Guna try to figure it out tomorrow.
I bought a 2022 version 2. Was hoping to read texts on the display, oh well. An alluminated notification will work. I think I made the right choice. Please do a video comparison to the PCX. I read THE PCX gets much better gas mileage but lacks power up hills. Thanks for the video 📸.
Disconnect Yamaha's Y-Connect (CCU) communication control unit before it leaves you stranded on the side of the road. Luckily mine "blew up" in my garage just prior to a ride where the ignition would not turn on. Opened the fuse box to discover a fuse under "backup" was blown.....What's "backup", where do I look to rectify? Perhaps the owner's manual gives said information but I jumped on the computer and via UA-cam typed in Yamaha Nmax backup issues and there it was for all to see. The person simply traced the problem to the CCU and disconnected it. I did the same and replaced the fuse and all is just great. Whilst Yamaha Australia has agreed to replace the unit for free, I also noted extreme differences in pricing of the unit. Here in Australia they want $390, delivered from Finland $175, and around $70 from Indonesia? For my money, you really don't want this accessory unless you want to end up stranded by the roadside. Disconnect the CCU and ride with confidence, mind you plenty of Indonesian sites show plenty of other electrical problems with the scooter. Good luck.
I was just about to download the video for offline viewing as I cruise on my Honda CBR 600 before I scrapped this as an underpowered motorbike. Is the channel shifting, now?
Hello, I encountered a problem in the odometer part of the Yamaha Connect program, I changed it and set it to 600,000 km, now I want to record the actual km, but it gives an error and does not return. I would be grateful if you could help me.
Hello.... I'm using Y-Connecting App for my Yamaha FZ-X bike in India. I have few queries about app settings. My bike odometer shows 4352 km run as of today, unfortunately while setting up y-connect app i have entered 8352 km instead of 4352 km. Now am trying to correct this mistake in mileage section but drop down menu shows higher numbers, not showing lower numbers than 8000 kms. How can i correct it..?? My app is not connecting it to the bike automatically, once i turn off and turn on the bike though app is running in background of my mobile.
Just go to the engine oil, find the history or clock logo near at the top right and delete all the history, it should work that you can get the lower value
Lowbat problem y connect sna yamaha try to fix it namomonnitor mo nga gamit ang cp mo pero pag naka off ung motor y connect gumagana pa ren hindi sya naka off nakakadrain ng battery sna ung gumawa ng apps sa program ng apps pwd mo sana e off dun pag ngdisconnect para d gumagana ung y connect kht naka off ignation switch gumagana pa ren nagdidischarge try to fix it yamaha
Just a gadget to play around. Most of features nobody will ever use. What would have been more useful implementing google maps for navigation on the speedometer display,
I wouldn't say it's almost useless, I agree that nmax panel board gives a lot of information already but some motorcycles lack that feature which in my case I have a fazzio that has a very limited feature on its panel board. this thing is pretty helpful keeping track of my fuel consumption and location
I don't think so, you might don't need it yourself but it isn't a gimmick. A lot of people can take advantage of those features and if only you know how to make use of those features, they can be very helpful

Might need to forward this to my father who just bought a 2021 NMAX a month ago.

I might flip this before the new model comes out and get the newest XMAX.

Excellent Video and background music! Would anyone be able to help find the background music between 0:00 - 2:44?

You could try deleting the app and redo it all again hopefully that works
