    IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
Hey everyone! Hope you enjoy this conversation with a brilliant lawyer with amazing insight from the courtroom!
Please remember: none of these comments are of a predictive nature! We are simply commenting on behaviors and what they COULD mean/ are likely to mean. But there are 3 major reasons this does not allow us to predict the outcome of the trial.
    1) we’re analyzing key moments. These isolated moments do not necessarily reflect the overall opinion. Remember, this is a defamation trial, they don’t have to believe Johnny hit her everytime she says he did, they only have to believe he hit her once.
    2) averting eye contact and turning away can be a sign of disbelief but it can also be a sign of discomfort, so it can very well be they are buying her story and are just really uncomfortable looking at her tell it.
    3) they don’t all have to believe her. It’s possible for just a few to believe her and persuade the others.
Neither Rob nor I claim to know what the verdict will be nor do we claim to know the details of what happened between Johnny and Amber during every altercation. We’re just pointing out behavior patterns. That’s all.
    This can go either way.
    Thanks for watching 🤗

How do the jurors not get sick of Amber's attorney's asking witnesses the same question over and over? I get frustrated as an observer when they keep badgering a witness with the same question repeatedly.

Theory: she favours D & E because they're female, yes. But also because, since they're wearing masks, she can't read their faces. And she takes this blankness as a positive. Instead of rightly thinking "hm, I don't know how they feel about me," she ASSUMES they're smiling at her and pouting when she "cries." She's a narc, so her assumption that people like/love her is just part of her everyday routine.

@People Person I'm so sorry to hear that. Honestly, I did get lucky. I'd been to court with him a few times. He had the money, I didn't so taking me to court was a good way to start creating a paper trail (we have a kid together so that's why we had to go so much. I just wanted to be left alone). The first lawyer in the last case I got left me out to dry, but thankfully she was able to represent me for the remainder.
I hope you don't have to go through that again... Some people don't realize how terrifying it is to be up there, being grilled like that, even when you're telling the truth... You go blank. You panic. I can remember my kid's dad making those same smirks as amber. Faking those same tears on the stand. It's infuriating, but you also feel powerless. Especially if that person has the power to convince everyone else that they are right and you are wrong ..
I know my response is long. I'm sorry. I only say it to show that even though I was lucky with my lawyer, I didn't always have that support so I do empathize with your experience

Also I found out AHs lawyers are very good negotiation lawyers who specialize in defamation… so they have little to zero trial experience because they usually settle before trial… that’s very telling. Her case was so bad the best lawyers in the country who settle cases outside of trial couldn’t even come close to making that happen.

I’ve sat on two juries, the last as forewoman. Neither defendant looked at the jury box much. But when they DID, I didn’t like it whatsoever! As far as I’m concerned, jury members are witnesses in and of themselves. We’re there for the evidence, to parse the credibility of witnesses, to - hopefully - use critical thinking skills to come to the right decision. If I could say something to a defendant, it would be, “Don’t look at me. Don’t try to make eye contact with me. You’re not my friend. We aren’t here to ‘bond.’ Your looking at me feels inappropriate & manipulative, which isn’t exactly good for your case. One thing I find VERY telling after watching a lot of her testimony is she chooses to be emotional when she talks about Johnny accusing her of lying. She doesn't choose to get emotional when she talks about abuse. Not only are we missing typical emotional cues for someone recalling a painful memory, but when she chooses to appear emotional seems very telling.
When her reputation is being questioned she chooses to be emotional. Her reputation, how people perceive her is the most important thing.
The idea that she was abused is secondary in her mind which is why she doesn't choose to seem emotional when talking about her "abuse" experiences.

In that audio you could hear her literally gaslighting him by telling him that what he had experienced he didn't experience and that the pain that he had felt he had not felt. I thought that it was tactical move from their part to have Camille question Amber Heard.
JD's team is full of different people, men, women, of different ages.
They couldn't put a man in charge of cross examining Amber. They had to ask really invasive and personal questions, it would look bad if man grilled her about her SA story.
They could've brought in little bit older or just softer woman. like Elaine, who Amber clearly trusts. But I don't think soft approach would work with Amber.
Instead they bring Camille, who is young and beautiful and clearly close with Johnny. Amber sees Camille as her equal, or maybe even someone who is a bit intimidating to her. If Amber truly is bipolar or even a bit narcissistic, they can't handle someone being smarter or prettier or better liked than them. They will unravel.
I noticed when they questioned Whitney, Amber's sister, new female lawyer did the cross examination, she was really friendly and sweet and only asked her few simple questions. Later I started wondering if Johnny asked them to do this; Johnny knew that Whitney is Amber's victim just as much as he is, I believe JD still feels for her and wants to protect her.
My theory is that JD's legal team could have really grilled Whitney about the stair incident, but Johnny stopped it.
But these are just my thoughts and opinions, I don't know these people, who the hell knows what really happens between people behind closed doors 🤷‍♀️

And yes i do honestly believe she is that messed up to do something like that. Master manipulator.

What an awesome commentary. When you described Camille Vasquez as JD's shield and sword, a light turned on in my head. There is a Greek saying "Scratch a mother, find a tiger." I have had conversations with gentle women who are shocked at how fierce and unstoppable they can be. In Camille, we see the archetypal mother defending her child, and when we consider that both she and JD are gentle people, and JD's mother failed to provide safety, we see how a strong attachment can form. We also hear the archetypal mother in Camille's scolding of AH, which if she would just listen, is a gift.
*** I see a few people have made my post about God v no-God. I think one of the lessons of this trial has been how abusive it is to silence someone else's voice. So let's listen to each other kindly and allow everyone to have their truth. Let's make the space between us a safe place.

Not only is she absorbed in defending her client to the best of her ability but, her professional skills and reputation are aired worldwide and therefore are at stake. That's one of the many reasons this case throws me off. She testifies that she produced every record and photograph, that allegdly proof all of the physical abuse.
And yet, not one of those "many" were officially submitted to the jury.
Sure, some were, but according to her testimony it should have been a shitton more. And the ones that were shown were, frankly, not really convincing. Like the ones that were submitted to the jury, were either weeks old (allegedly, again) or an exageration of the lighting.
Like, there is nothing about black eyes, broken noses, scars, holes. Nothing that severe. She took photos of everythign related to Depp and his escapades, but she didn't find the time to take photos of her oh so serious injuries after several weeks, or when they were nearly healed? That doesn't sit right to me.
Also the fact that she didn't get medical attention. Sure, for some bruises, you might just choke it up and put some makeup on. For a make-believe string woman and actress, I assume there is something more to her than most other abuse victims, right? But why the hell wouldn't she get treatment for a believed broken nose. An injury that couldn't even be captured hours later on a gala meeting by paparazzi? No shot.
I can believe that she probably got hit by stuff (be it herself or really JD). And maybe (!) JD DID hit her once or twice. But to the extreme extent she blows this story up? No way in hell this happened.

She also truly believes that he has been wronged and wants to help him get it all out in public to get his reputation back and to be vindicated. When she says that I can't help but think, wouldn't it be more impactful and helpful to record him in a drunken state? Like a video? It doesn't make sense to me, especially having been in a few relationships with raging alcoholics/drug users. Them asleep or passed out accomplishes nothing. It shows them nothing. You have to see yourself in action for it to even register. When they're asleep, that's usually when you feel protective or the caretaker's emotions come out. I mean for me it was.

I don't know, I'd have to side with Amber on this one. Essentially, we are ALL on the outside looking in. Amber has lived with Johnny for years and understands his mannerisms WAY more in depth than any of us do. For example, my ex gf used to snore pretty loud after a night of drinking and whenever I told her the next morning, she would deny it and get defensive. So I thought I'd make a video of her one night and show her the next morning. This is pretty much the same circumstances. Johnny gets shit faced, passes out, Amber yell at him the next morning, Johnny gets confused and denies it. You take a picture of the act, and now there is no speculation. So having said that, I kind of believe Amber.

When the photo was shown of Johnny passed out, I was shocked that anyone would do that. How could anyone show someone they supposedly loved in such a weak, vulnerable position? How much disdain and disgust must be in your heart to rob someone of their dignity by documenting their dissipation. You’d have to feel total and utter contempt to do that. Yet she kept professing how much she loved him. She didn’t.
And now it’s clear that the prescription medications he used could have caused those on-the-nod situations as opposed to drug abuse.

That's exactly what I have experienced with victims of domestic violence. Sometimes if the story seemed outrageous I would be pulling back and very clinical so to speak, trying to ascertain is this person genuine or is this person pumping up the narrative. Once I began to trust in what this person was saying, you're right, I leaned forward I tried to look comforting and understanding which is easy because I've been through it, and then I would be able to get the whole story. When I had women in my office who were angry at the abuse, they didn't look away and act all put-upon, they looked at me with a combination expression of can you believe this would happen and total hurt that it would happen.

This whole case is hopefully making people aware that men are victims of DV, too. I’ve been in situations where my partner was hitting and attacking me, and herself at times. And when I called, every single time the police tried to make it like I was the one who attacked her and just called the cops so I could get ahead of it. That shit infuriates me. I had all kinds of scratches on my neck was bleeding and had a busted lip. And when I got her off of me to get away, they tried to turn that on me and say I hit her. My partner had battery and DV charges on her record and yet they still treated me like I was the suspect and even worse like she was the victim. This was years ago and I’m still pissed about that.

There are lots of crazy cray women..Im sure that inflict damage to themselves and blame the guy or not and they see scratches and stuff on both but assume its the guy.
I used to have a friend that when sitting next to her boyfriend... She would either slap or punch his one arm with her fist/hand over a remark or something he would say...
She would hit at him and say either... Oh shut the feck up... Or Shut up.. *** you weren't there... Or .. Shut the feck up. You dont know any fecking thing. Zip it.
Oh my lords Id get ticked and say... You can stop hitting at him and keep your hands to yourself.
We couldnt get thru one game of Uno or Trivial Pursuit without her using him as a punching bag as Id call it. She thought it funny.
I said its not... Is it ok if he hits at you ?? She said Id feck his ass up if he tried. Literally HATED seeing that. Every.time.

it all just made me cry!
As Camille let that tension out through her tears after the end of the first day of cross-examination; I feel like this is another representation of her crying on, not just Johnny's behalf, but on behalf of us all; those of us who believe him innocent of AH's allegations.

I am an abuse survivor and work with domestic violence victims and one of my roles is to act as a victims advocate in court. I accompany the victim to court for support in their testimony or in some cases I will have to speak on their behalf. And in my over 15 years of attending hundreds of court proceedings, I have never ever seen a real domestic violence victim constantly looking at anyone else let alone a jury in the court room especially, when recounting their abuse stories. They will often look down or their eyes will will not focus on anything if their head is not pointed downwards. They are too traumatized to even be sitting there recounting their abuse stories to let alone look at anyone or want anyone to look at them.
So, as soon as I saw Amber's testimony, it only confirmed for me what I already suspected, Amber Heard is no victim of domestic violence. She is the abuser here. And she is a disgrace to all real domestic violence victims no matter the gender. #JusticeForJohnnyDepp

I found it odd that she was even looking at the jury at all, and immediately was a problem for me, and I cannot understand that move and to me looks desperate and is almost fishing for support. I wasn't sure what to think about much until I believe she totally revealed herself when she was called to the stand and this ensued.
Honestly it was embarrassing, maniacal, aggressive, and there was very little I could trust that came out of her mouth. Stop looking at the jury for every answer you give Amber. Stop. It is incredibly nauseating.
What is even worse is she is allegedly a "professional actor", and nothing felt genuine or honest, ans because of that, the weight of my reaction was amplified against her when nothing added up or made logical sense. It felt like a child with chocolate all over their mouth, is explaining all the reasons they couldn't have eaten the birthday cake from grandma, and double down by crying and begging w/ crocodile tears and then an immediate switch to anger when there is no other place to go and boxed in by the truth.
