    I went with the 3LT mid-tier model. The premier was just some of the features that I didn't need such as the sunroof. Thank you for the thorough review of the 3 differences. It helps me a lot in choosing which one to get. The 3LT has everything that I want, it more than exceeds all of my expectations. Got mine for $29899.00 with 53,000 mileage on it. The previous owner took great care of all the oil maintenance. Overall, I love my traverse. GM did a fantastic job with the design and features of this 2018 traverse. I added a few interior trim panels with a carbon fiber look to them and boy that just made it look even much nicer.

    I just subscribed! GREAT video! I’ve been looking for a black Premier with black accent and hit the road packages (which is SO not me, but I think it’s so pretty!) and have been dying trying to figure out the difference in the 1LT, 2LT, 3LT and Premier when searching. You’re a God send!!! Bless you!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

    Excellent review..
    I was about ready to pull the trigger on a LT leather...but my wife insisted on the LT cloth (leather in TX is miserable....for a daily)
    Of course, we all have wants and needs and budgets..(i, for example, wanted the high country...lol)
    But from the LT up...this thing is incredible. Spacious, powerful, comfortable, technological,, etc...
    Good job GM.
    I have a 17SS Camaro...and I'm impressed at the HP and Torque on this Traverse platform

      Is there anyway to turn off the stop/start feature? I rented a Malibu a couple of months ago and that feature really got on my nerves, especially in heavy traffic and in the heat it felt like the A/C cut off and was only blowing in fan mode.

    Just subscribed!! Great vid. I’m looking at buying the 1LT for my wife however, I don’t like the plastic bottom, not sure what that’s called, on the exterior of the vehicle. Does the 1LT come with the fiberglass bottom that wraps around the car from bumper to bumper?

    Does anyone own a 2018 Chevy Traverse LS cloth? An Error message, " All wheel drive system service" occurred after exiting a Parking lot lane in which we turned right. Immediatly I heard what sounded like a knuckle or clock clock knock.
    I looked up on recalls and comments and a 2016 comment came up and stated a loose Bolt on axle. Taking her into dealer tomorrow....please comment your experiences

    this was very helpful as I am starting my car shopping for a Traverse. I do have one question....I am looking at very similar offers (within $300) on a 2019 Traverse LT leather AWD and a 2018 Premier AWD that has been a demo model, dealer driven, about 8,000 miles. Which is actually the better deal? if you can answer

    • @DaveBsellsChevy
      @DaveBsellsChevy  5 років тому +1

      If the 2018 Premier is GM certified I would go with that vehicle. You'll get more features and more warranty (certified is extra 12,000miles/or/12 month Limited Bumper to Bumper AND additional 40,000miles/or/12 month of powertrain warranty added to the balance of the factory warranty). Also, does the 2019 LT Leather have the "premier package"? it includes (nav, bose, surround vision, rear camera mirror, 20" wheels)... these were standard on the 2018 LT Leather.

      In your opinion would the Traverse be a Better Buy vs The Enclave ?

    • @DaveBsellsChevy
      @DaveBsellsChevy  5 років тому

      Generally, Buick is more expensive than Chevrolet with the difference being extra focus on premium materials and a more luxurious look. You'd have to compare the two and see if you feel it is worth the extra $$

    Thanks for the informative video. Just a quick question, is the red logically better than the black? We’re getting the premier and we can’t decide whether we should red or black. What do you think?

    • @DaveBsellsChevy
      @DaveBsellsChevy  6 років тому +1

      Tevita Lui thanks for watching! Both are great colors, in my experience the black is harder to maintain but I would let stop you if you like it better than the red.

    • @tlj6034
      @tlj6034 6 років тому +2

      We decided that we’ll get a white one instead haha. We agree that black will look nice for the first hour after it’s been washed. Red is nice but not as classic as white.

    • @DaveBsellsChevy
      @DaveBsellsChevy  5 років тому

      Hey John, Thanks for watching. The AWD model has the Convenience and Driver Confidence package standard. That package is optional on the FWD. If the package is ordered on the FWD then the only difference is the AWD/FWD

    Just subscribed. Great video. Many people will buy this instead of a minivan. The other potential consumer is dog owners that need the large trunk with seats folded to hold dog cages. What is the width of the rear area wheel well to wheel well? Most Petmat Vari Kennels are rated as "300", or "400 series" or "500 series". I have two German Shepherds that take two 500 series. A female can fit in a 400 series. A 300 series is: (Size: 28" L X 20.5" W X 21.5"H). A 400 series is: 36"L by 25"W by 27"H, and a 500 series is: 40"L by 27"W by 30"H. A big deal for dog lovers is size of crate. I need to carry two dogs, and my current minivan holds two 400 series..so side by side, they take nearly 50 inches in width and have same depth of 36 inches. Is the trunk at least 3 feet long and 50 inches wide with rear seats folded down? Much thanks!

    • @DaveBsellsChevy
      @DaveBsellsChevy  5 років тому

      Thanks for Watching and Subscribing!! I appreciate it!! I just measured a Traverse on the showroom floor here and the width between the wheel wells in 48". I also measured the tailgate opening. The center height from floor to the top is about 32" and at the sides of the opening (where the roof rounds out) is about 30"/31". The width at the top of the opening is about 40". Measuring from the back of the truck to the back of the second row seat is 54" and to the back of the drivers seat is 88". I am being slightly conservative with my measurements but it seems to me a 500 series should fit right in!

      The High Country has everything the Premier has plus some extra cosmetic trim pieces, it has the power 3rd row seat, it has an advanced AWD system and that's basically it.
