After taking an extended leave from UA-cam and riding, I decided to share this very personal video about what I have been going through the last several months. My intent of this video is for someone to relate and ley you know that your not alone. Stress, life, work, family, death, anxiety can take its toll on you, but are you falling into a trap, or are you owning your happiness?

Welcome back....I can relate...I lost my wife 4 years ago to cancer and have been in a "funk" ever since. Very hard to recover and find happiness again. I have enjoyed your videos and those of your Amigos. Be well.

Hey Colin, I've been so far removed from UA-cam that I had no clue you'd moved to TN. I understand what you've been going through, as I've been battling my own demons since my father passed away a couple years ago. My wife and I ended up selling our house and moving a few miles down the road to a larger house so my mom could move in with us. As soon as we got settled, I was responsible for getting her house fixed up, sold and getting her moved. All the stress of selling both houses, moving and consolidating two households, in addition to holding down a demanding job, about did me in. My father was my only true confidant, so when he died I lost my best friend and my therapist, lol. Life can seem overwhelming, but I'm always looking for the light at the end of the tunnel--even though it can appear pretty dim sometimes. Take care, buddy, and ride safe.
I was just thinking about you recently. I appreciate you telling your story. Stress will take its toll unless you manage it. That has really helped me. I’m so sorry about your Dad. You’re a good person my friend.
Glad to see you back. Your video about Freedom Shields years ago got me interested in UA-cam.
I can relate to a lot of what you talked about. Six years ago I decided to jump into UA-cam getting gear and such trying to learn the how to’s. Sadly my oldest son passed away of a heart attack at 42. I gave up on a lot after that. About a year ago I thought about getting back into it. Started the learning process again but then 8 months ago my youngest son passed away taking his own life at the age of 42.
Unfortunately I’m back into not caring about much. Having been a lifelong rider, I don’t even have the desire to ride anymore. It’s not the escape it used to be for me.
I get what you say that I’ve got to think and do more for me but I just can’t find my way through the fog.
Anyway my friend, I’m glad you found your way.
It’s hard to find your way. Just ask yourself what drives you? This helped me a ton. My deepest condolences on your sons. Live your life knowing you’ll see them again. You’re a good man.

Yea I thought was going to say some of the liberalism LOL but naw you ain’t getting away from the humidity hardly anywhere in south east maybe times if your higher in the mountains but than again want be long if it’s low yea it’s bad either way when family are anyone passes and yea it is worse knowing it’s happening but it’s happening to all of us at some point I’ve been having health issues since February and have had a lot of test and still not 100% sure other than my back and sciatica I still believe it’s kidney are appendix but they do know more than I do by the what handlebars you got?
I can relate on the back issues. Hope they can figure it out soon. I’m running with LA Choppers 12”. They’ve made a huge difference.

Welcome back, for me I had to move away from watching UA-cam because it was causing me to be miserable and unfulfilled because of the FOMO. Seeing what others were doing, where they were going and I wasn't made me loose sight of what makes me happy and how content I was just being me. The mind is a battlefield. Volunteering, family, and real life friends are more important than internet communities. It was great thought the pandemic but afterwards, I found myself investing way too much time, effort, and compacity to internet communities and internet people at the expense of real face to face community.

Colin, take a real man to stand up and look in the mirror and be honest with ones self. Thanks for sharing with us. I too have been through some big changes. I made a big mistake moving to Ga.. I made my wife miserable and it too me a while to admit it. When you take responsibility and then take action things turn out fine. We moved back to Tennessee and I find myself much happier also. Family, friends and riding enjoyment makes me a happy fellow and I am glad to see you again. Heres to a better year. Be safe, have fun.

It takes a real man to reflect inward and confront the demons that live inside of him. I'm glad you are starting to lean on positive outlets for your stress. There is no one in this world that deserves to be happy more than you, brother. Your video hits home for a lot of reasons, as I, too, have had an extremely difficult couple of years with my mental health/health in general. Take care of yourself man. Though I gave up filming, you know I'll always be here to support you in everything you do.
Been thinking about you my friend. You just came up in a discussion about our past rides. The story about you riding up the driveway with your new ride. What a classic moment. You’re the epitome of a great person Pat. I love seeing you succeed in your career. You’ve handled yourself so well.

I go to harley in Kodak all the time. I'm about an hour east. Never been to buc-ees. And I'm right there with you as far as with most of what your saying. Maybe I'll meet you someday
