It was very nice to see you both on the bikes. Myself and Mrs. HDR were on the Foothills Parkway this summer on vacation. Fun roads to ride. Thanks for taking us along. Ride Safe
I think I will wait for the leaf peepers to go away. I may camp over there one night. Ride the Foothills, then work my way to Tellico Plains, ride the Cherohala, then the Dragon, then 28, and then maybe head home….
I am a Forever Summer guy. I hate the cold now. Beautiful scenery and Great Video as always. Unfortunately I have been out of the MC life for some time now, please tell what is the Display above the Factory Speedometer? Navigation?
My buddy invited the wife and I to so the exact ride you're talking about. We rode the Foothills with he and his wife Sept 25. Then he and I rode 129 and the Tail early on the 26th. Great roads down there . . . Ill be back, lol.
2:49 - That haze is how the "Mountains of the great smoke", as the Cherokee named them, earned that moniker. It's caused when oxygen production from the dense forest is high.
Too damned bad you got called in to work last week when I was down there, had to ride it by myself! I'm a but confused, though, as to exactly what the three sections are you're talking about, as what I thought was the third section is up above Gatlinburg, totally separated from the rest of it (until they eventually build it all out and join it, on Google Maps you can see the green right-of-way where it's eventually going to go). Have you ridden Little River Gorge Rd.? It's a nice little two-lane, quite twisty in places. Runs between 321 and 441. At least I got to ride with Stoney and his buddy Bill one day, and had a great time with Misty and Jay on Sunday morning before I headed home, did 1900 miles all told, some of the best riding days I've had.
We started in Wears Valley, which is the new section. You take this to Walland and then that is the other two sections. That leads you all the way to 129. Yes, I’ve ridden that. It’s a fun little road right near the FP. Sorry, I was unable to meet you. Glad you had a great time.
Well, if that's how the sections are divided up, then there are actually four, not three. I was thinking the parts between Walland and 129 were considered one section. The fourth section is between Cosby and I40.

I’m good my friend. Just taking a long break and hope to be back soon!!!
Great video and a fun day of riding. Let’s go again soon!
My turn to ride down to you. Some great roads in your area.

That’s a great ride, right there!
Such a cool area to ride. I rode it with a couple buddies a while ago. Oh wait that was you and Ty 😂. Nice impressions of the minivan.
Yes, seems like that was just yesterday.
Such beautiful road!! I need to get back there and ride the whole thing!!
One of my favorites
Love the Foothills Parkways❤
Very cool

That’s a GPS. It’s from Garmin. The factory one that links up to your phone is subpar in my opinion.

It’s a place where there are so many great roads. We just weren’t feeling the Tail that day. See you when you get back.
We are really blessed my friend to have great roads all over Tennessee. Great ride.
You get it my friend.
Which GPS unit is that and how did you mount it ? I see some options from Pazoma which is an easy install whereas Wonderlich is a lot more intrusive..
Zumo XT and I used the Touratech mount. Works perfect.
Thanks for the ride and video 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
Anytime Jim.

Very interesting information and I appreciate it.
Yep, awesome ride bro. Be safe.
Thanks my friend.
Love the FP
I could ride this all day and never get bored.

Two of my favourite UA-camrs, enjoy the ride, cheers
Thanks my friend. I’m sure you’re feeling that cold coming in Canada.
Yes, frost on the cars this morning @@Broncoride
how long did the tires last.Do u still have them or different ones?
Around 5-6k per others but I’ve had mine on for around 7 and they still have good tread. Depends on riding style too.
what tires are you running on your pan america?
Anakee Wild 50/50
how do the run on hwy or road?@@Broncoride
@@greenrush4313surprisingly, not bad on highway. Obviously stock tires run smoother but I was pleasantly surprised on these.
