A closer comparison to the Rebel would be with a Laramie with the off-road package. That option group adds to the Laramie a/t tires, higher ride height and skid plates.
Without the Hemi, the Ram has no soul. Stellantis, if you're listening, make the Hemi an option before it's too late. Notice Ford didn't give up their V8 engine for the F150. That's because that's what their customers requested. I would have purchased another Ram had it had a Hemi!
I would agree 99% of the time, but I just rented a 1500 Laramie with the 3.0TT and compared to last years Hemi it is way more fun all around (except sound)
I thought I will be disappointed as I was testing the 25 Laramie...................DAMN NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Dodge created an incredible machine and I don't work for Stellantis !!!! This truck, IMO, is number 1 after the rest of the big ones and the new Tundra. I mean, Escalade with a bed. After an hour ride, I went home and started to do massive homework on options, packages and what will work for me and best pricing. Going to pick mine up tomorrow morning. Black/black with all chrome Laramie, pack 2 with BED group and sport pack. 2500 down, 700 a month lease, 42 mos. 12K a year. I will not own one due to the lack of reliability history. if she will be good to me, I will do a buyout. Amazing truck. If you own any other truck, DRIVE the RAM.....PLEASE.
So you can adjust the brightness on the screen and the rearview camera you can flip it to normal or video. It’s for if something is blocking your view so in reality you’re just complaining to complain.
You didn't show the different armrests in the backseat where the Laramie has the luxurious one style and the rebel just has the ordinary one I know because I own a 2019 Laramie
Zero comparison on your presentation. How does each vehicle drive? How's the feel with the different tires and suspension? Like I said ZERO comparison.
Yes. I have a 2020 rebel, and my brother has a 2020 Laramie, and to answer your question, the Laramie does drive noticeably smoother on highways. With that being said, I go off roads quite a bit, so the rebel suited me better and is a better ride when you are on bumpy/ uneven terrain + the rebel comes with a 1 inch factory lift over the Laramie.
I use to love the rams old taillights and I drive a Tundra, I have no idea why they would change to these plain jane looking taillights💩💩 It looks like my tundra taillights now boring!
@ecarey8782.............Not much different between a column shifter, as all the way left is REVERSE and all the way right is DRIVE. I LOVE mine on my 2020 RAM REBEL. To each his own, i guess!
Easy, I gotta go for the rebel, more off road capable, bigger tires and has skid plates too. I just wish they made the black interior standard too. I like the black interior better.
@@1gr8oil I appreciate that but i had the 3.5 ecoboost from Ford. I was impressed by that one. It's also a good engine but I want my V8. I've got the 6.7 Powerstroke now and it's an amazing engine. Tons of Horsepower and more torque than I'll ever need.
@@1gr8oil I also don’t keep a steaming dump in the house by I know it smells bad. Every single person I have ever known who buys CDJR has had problems.
@@JA-zh5xi I'm not brand loyal but my Rams have had better quality then just about anything else I've owned. And I have had most of the major brands. CDJR has some issues mainly with thier fiat based front wheel drive models. Their RWD models are pretty solid especially the trucks.

I still like the older tail lights better
I’ll take a 2024 with a V8…
Sadly it's gone

Just picked up 2020 Rebel with 26k miles on it this weekend. It cost me half the price what a 2025 Rebel would have. 😅
@@Mike-Hamdo they come with 6.5 ft bed?
@@Mike-Hamgood decision and you get a tried and true hemi.
Rebel seems to be the best all around truck (like a Tremor) that you can get for your money. Nice, looks, and off-road capability.

I’m from Phoenix, so the vented seats tip the scales in favor of the Laramie package for me. I’ll take one with the Hemi.

Can you do a Laramie vs limited video
Is the Laramie noticeably smoother riding on the highway? I like the rebel looks but I drive a good amount of miles every day

Rebel does not feature a six seat option.
Ram rebel looks good in black love the interior in Ram rebel

I had a power wagon with the dial shifter, hated that shifter Would not buy another Ram with the dial shifter.

Go Rebel. Disappointed Laramie dosen't have front bucket seats on that one for 67k!
Is there not a Rebel without the red interior?
Level 2 option 😎
So why not buy the RHO for the same price
I love that silver color on that Ram Laramie!
Just bought a Rebel with cooled seats. Problem solved.
Why can’t they offer all black interior instead of having to order one
Pay load is more on larami tho
Have you been able to see a limited fully color matched? I would like to see a video of .
Kinda like the red... Could pink be next?🤔
Some red seats I see, red cloth and on others I see black leather with red dots but it isnt cloth. I'm guessing that's the upgraded leather seating?

Great video review Ben! I'm looking forward to the next truck review! What do you think of the Ram Rebel X version?
Excited to see it
@@BenHardyCars Does the Laramie have LED DRLs? I cannot seem to find a video of the exterior look with the truck running..
Ill keep my 2021 Big Horn. Hemi 5.7
Neither! Not enough truck for that money.
Hey Ben, are gonna audition for a Jesus role once all your hair gets long enough, lol, both models are great, just depends on one’s lifestyle
😆
I actually think the Hurricane will be better then the Ecoboost and I would own a Hurricane over the Ecoboost and Hemi but not over a Hellcat
The red door and seat areas look ugly
Have ben hardy too understand what you saying, buddy. I'm not native, and you speak quite fast. Love your content tho!❤
Yeah well at least Chevy and ford still offer v8 😂🤷♂️
Laramie does not have tow hooks👎
That rebel is cheap lowest trim 😢
Rebel cost to own is more if that matters.
How so? im stuck between the rebel and Laramie
@@austinsmith8010 Rebels typically use quite a bit more fuel due to the tire size/type, gearing and lift.
V8 ? How are you going to call something a "rebel" and then slap a v6 under the hood. Just give me a V8 like God intended.
It's a straight 6 but yeah your point stands.
"Just give me a V8 like God intended." Agreed and brilliant! 🤣
@derekroesler2036........GO drive one and see for yourself!
Straight sixes are more of a truck engine then a V8, Dodge was using Straight sixes in thier trucks before the Hemi came to light.

They dont i have anall black

You have to buy both to make sure you have something to drive when the other one is in the shop. Total garbage

Would the touch pad potentially stop working if exposed to constant hot temperatures??
I have the same in my 2023 and I live in Texas. Not a single problem.
