How We Imprint Our Baby Calves

We have found imprinting our calves, especially our heifers, makes them easier to handle as they grow.
Our heifer calves we have imprinted, by touching their tiny teats with the same motion as milking, have been easier to train to milk. Some of them hardly lift a foot and accept milking without any fuss. Imprinting takes very little time and shows great rewards. Give it a try.

A friend's cow died and they are left with a 3 month old calf. Is it too late to start imprinting at this age? They would love to for her to be happy with human touch.
