Her contract was finished with CMLL but they kept the titles on her, not a smart business choice by CMLL but whatever. She was a free agent working freelance. Ultimately WWE offered her whatever she was looking for and wanted to use her straight away plus WWE contracts are tight, so working for another company is no for WWE. If they were gonna wait to introduce to her later then maybe she wouldve been able to do those additional dates with CMLL & NJPW then sign but WWE was already on the road and they were in Mexico city about a day or two after her contract was up.
I agree pluse CMLL contract are not locked in so she could have left any time she wanted she pick wwe becuase they had a better plan for her NXT woman roster is stack Shawn is doing a good job booking them
No one should even be mad at steph for joining wwe. There's definitely a professional and courteous way to depart a company bc u never know what happens in the future. It's hard to cross a bridge again if you burn it on the way out. Edit: spelling
I agree about letting her go to NXT cuz people are also mad about Giulia starting in NXT & I'm over here like these girls are about to up and moving to a whole nother country! (Giulia is moving from Japan & Stephanie is moving from Mexico) its already stressful enough moving house let alone move country! like they can't move then all the sudden be on the road thats just crazy like let them get to Orlando & be on NXT & get used to their surroundings & adjust before you put them on the road!
When you’re a big company, you gotta stay grooming. I don’t think it’s nasty business, it’s just business as usual. Nxt is their grooming ground, now they gotta groom for the groomers.
She speak ok english she took english classes in college she dident speak it a lot becuase she wrestile in mexico and japan but it will come back to her

When the W calls, you drop everything and answer that call, a lot of people have now careers only because they were in the WWE

having stephanie wait to sign with how much tony is willing to pay out is a DANGEROUS game
