The CW is not better than USA. CW has shows that only get 8k viewers. USA would never air a show that got 8k viewers. The top show in CW does around 600k. When NXT jumps to CW their viewership will drop to around 400k and the 18-49 will be around .11 and I am not hating on NXT, just telling it like it is. CW is a step down from USA, A BIG step down.

I knew nothing about Stephanie Vaquer until she was announced for Forbidden Door.
She had one of the BEST matches on that show.
She easily out-worked Mercedes, and made me a fan.
She did a job to a bigger name, and clearly Won by Losing.
That spot where she uses her hair as a Death Mask when she is under is one of the coolest things i've seen in years.
If she had signed with AEW, they would have wasted her like they have with a lot of their roster.
She got over in front of the biggest audience I'd imagine she's ever been seen by, and took the best offer.
Good on her.
In WWE, she won't have to work like she's trying to kill herself anymore.
I respect AEW, but a lot of their workers do pointless stupidities for no reason.

You know what doesn't help? Tony Khan himself has stated he he signs people to 4-6 YEAR contracts. If you sign with AEW you're going to get a lot of money for very little work but you're stuck there for a huge, huge part of your career.

Tony Khan has endless funds he can buy anyone he wants but WWE offers stability, professionalism and a global platform. To some people that outweighs any amount of money.
That's the thing. People claim "WWE couldn't sign XYZ" - no, 9 out of 10 times they weren't willing to pay absurd money just to sign someone, because they are a company and being run like a company. Tony pees away money just to add another shiny to his collection before forgetting about it in bis pursuit of the next one.

This signing made AEW fans so mad. It was comical seeing them big her up like she's the second coming of Bull Nakano before her AEW appearance and then immediately turn around and shit on her when she signed with WWE.
They also tried to play it off like she was born wearing WWE diapers and hung up posters of The Rock and Stone Cold in her room since she was a child when in fact Tony Khan made her a big offer along with WWE but she picked the more renowned company because who wouldn't.
I remember when Bray Wyatt was released by WWE in 2021, the IWC were talking about him like he was the greatest wrestler of all time and how WWE made the biggest mistake ever letting him go... then he re-signed with WWE in 2022 and those same fans began talking about "Wyatt sucked anyway".

It has been known for quite a while that AEW has the worst women's division in wrestling history, maybe even worse than the Divas era in WWE. Plus Tony Khan in all his wisdom has given creative control to Mercdes Mone.
Basically, Vaquer was able to avoid a world of backstage egos. She made the right choice.

One is a global multimedia entertainment company, and the other is the hobby of a bored billionaire's kid. Like Konnan said, easy choice to make.
AEW generally signs talent so they can hot-shot a couple weeks' worth of pops, WWE generally signs talent to develop so they can generate a decade of pops. It doesn't always work for either company, but WWE has a much more sound long-term philosophy.
WWE have released enough wrestlers to fill an entire roster the past few years.

You don't end up with over 100 expendable wrestlers if that's the case. The reality is that WWE signed a lot of wrestlers they didn't need or didn't what to do with.

This is what people don’t understand Indy. It’s about the wrestling but when you get on television and you have a television show it’s about no is it a little bit of wrestling but it’s about telling stories it’s a TV show, you have to entertain your audience. You have the greatest 10 star matches but if you do not entertain and grasp your fans to get what they want and give them store lines and it takes storylines and you gotta stick with the story lines and you gotta build the storylines up to keep the audience going matches one one over and then what’s next And span of the average human being is 10 seconds if that five seconds you have to grab the retention and key them on that’s what’s the biggest issue with AEW they have not come to realization you have the greatest five star match the history of damn time but it’s one time thenit’s about building lines building characters, getting people getting invested in the story and get the car and build from that and that dumb dumb do not understand

I tried watching WWE & having injured wrestlers doing promos about stuff they can’t back up in the ring is comedy. It’s like a soap opera overly dramatic actors pretending to wrestle w 10 minutes intro. The same storyline w the bloodline that Cody already defeated the main guy. Same matches on PLE’s over and over again. Another wannabe Kurt Angle. I prefer AEW w great wrestling & they have good storylines too
