I had the most weird experience in my life i played this song on my mp3 player n went for bicycle ride left it on repeat for a whole day cycling around the park, it has never happened before in my life with a song and never will....... thanks Ray.......

I've loved Ray's songs and spirit, for a long time. I thought we had lost the reality of folk singers. There are few left, that can share their soul..
No kidding. Ray is brilliant. Love all his stuff! Way more talent than the losers who seem to have legions of brain-dead fans. He writes, sings, plays, does it all well. No back-up dancers or song-writers needed. Something is definitely not right if Taylor Swift gets more views... at least it's up to 50,000+ now!
This song has some seriously fantastic lyrics. As a (bad) songwriter, I put Ray LaMontagne in the same category as Dylan and Cohen. Just so many perfect lines in the perfect place.

This is one of the most inspiring and humbling song that is well-sung, well-written and with the great musicians to complete the song and gift to us regular, highly-flawed human beings. This song brought me back to knowing the joy inside myself. Caught up chasing false dreams and trying to fix life lead me into false being and pain. @ImJstMe1 saw him in Bourne, TX at the Artist Den show. there were only about 300-400 people there... magical night... Thanks to Southwest Airlines, The Artist Den, Secret Sisters, Levon Helm Band and Ray/The Parihia Dogs for being part one of the most memorable evenings of my life time.

This is actually from the VH1 Storytellers they were on. I've looked everywhere for that whole episode, no luck. That it's mislabeled is probably the only reason this video is still here. Before he played it, he said his brother had some hard times, made a couple of stupid mistakes and now he's been in jail for half his life. Then he dedicated it ti his brother.
You can't even BUY a copy of those VH1Storytellers episodes anywhere. Guess they're saving that for after the show goes off the air... if THAT ever happens.

What happened to Pariah Dogs? Where are they? So miss them on the new album .. but I'm sure that's been said before. Sigh .. Who the hell produced this last album? yuck. Been trying not to say that. Guess I just did ... Ray's just paying the piper now with touring I guess .. Record deal. Tour. Record deal. Tour .. LOVE his work, his songs. His songs are totally amazing ..
