although the video has been found (I wish I saw this reddit post, could instantly jump in), the pre-ride video did leave an impression on me as a kid, especially before Fun House Express which may be before a lot of people's time. (Fun House ran from 97 to 02) The thing that accelerated the fear was likely the dark room, the massive shaking of the simulator next door and the cramped quarters. it's a lot of sensory overload for a child, leading to your kid brain imagining things a lot worse than they actually were.
I might not be correct, but I think I may have seen this video. Hi there! I'm the don who posted about the horror video game model. It's really cool to see you've covered this and for my post from years ago to get so much new attention!! Unfortunately I'm still no closer to figuring out what that thing is, although admittedly I stopped searching so avidly shortly after. Thank you for highlighting it and despite being so long since I asked I am certainty just as interested in finding out where it comes from so long later. well, if it helps, it definitely isn't from half-life or lsd dream emulator - tbh, i'm thinking that it could either be from a game that's meant to be a retro throwback, or something that only ever got released overseas
I saw similar things in Illbleed, a very trippy Dreamcast game. Also, Carrier is another DC game that has this style of random freaky characters. I know it probably doesn't help, but I am 98% sure this is Dreamcast/possibly Saturn.
The Danish 3d animated movie sounds super interesting. I spent a lot of my childhood in Denmark and it definitely sounds like something you'd see on Ramasjang. I remember watching a live action quiz show where kids had to complete tasks and run around a maze to avoid getting eaten by this big monster mascot. It scares me for years haha. I really appreciate your channel for consistently covering stuff that hasn't been done to death already but is actually worthy of attention. Also, your taste in music is great, I've recognized tons of songs from your videos that I have on my various spotify playlists.
What annoys me about TOMT is that everybody posting there seems to get unreasonably defensive everytime someone gives an idea, even when commenters seems to be in a correct lead. Hi. Would it be possible to start a series with this kind of mysteries that eventually got solved? I really like this type of content, especially the feeling that I can unlock a memory from it. thank u!
This would be a cool idea. It's cool to high light searches that still need help but there's also something very interesting and satisfying about cases that did get resolved.

I spend hours watching through obscure 3d animtions, linking producers/directors/animators of similar looking/sounding works etc. I'm so glad it's been picked up on UA-cam and will hopefully get found, I ended up almost as drawn into this one as my own lost memories!

Not to mention that this definitely sounds like a Nordic animation, limiting the amount of people who might know about it in the first place, or even have the language knowledge to search for it. But I'll definitely put in a Danish speaking effort into finding it!
I love how you give a platform to really small and obscure mysteries that no one else has covered! I'm especially interested in the last one, since I'm Nordic and I know we have some odd children's animation. I'm not Danish specifically, but if the animation is from the 2000s it's probable that it would have gotten around to the rest of the Nordics too. Maybe I'll look into it if I have the time.

NO WAY I THINK I REMEMBER THE CLAYMATION THING! Flashing lights, as well. I remember that, cause I pointed it out as a reason I may have been nauseous. Another reason could've been just waiting in a line, watching it over and over again, is not a particularly pleasant experience. Wasn't even worth it, really..
6:35 I think this may be related to the creepypasta mereana mordegard glesgorv. Considering the mentions of suicide and the creepy face. It'd probably be easy to edit the usual red video to black and white and add more to it for either providing background on the story or to look like the "original" video.
I love your videos because you’re actually really passionate about the topics you’re talking about, most creators circle around the same 2-9 scary/lost media threads and things are getting stale. Keep up the good work, I look forward to your videos every time!
The second topic reminds me of "Hotel 626", a horror website/flash game made by Doritos to promote the return of some long gone flavours. Most notably is the mention of the phone call at the end, and I think the game would actually call you through your cell phone if you gave the website your phone number, pretty cool. I doubt that was the actual website in question but I figured I might as well mention it since it's still pretty rad.
Just stumbled on your channel yestetday, and I am glad that I did. I really like your down to earth presentation, very straight and honest, w/o unnecessary "slookier" tones, and no dramatizing. It just feels like chatter with a friend, a real person. Great job! Keep it up :) I am subscribed
omg THANK YOU, since watching your other 2 videos on this topic i've been looking for more content like this and i've barely found any (and when i did, they weren't as well made as yours), pls don't stop doing these until there's nothing left to cover
thank you, so happy to hear you enjoy the series! the awesome thing about it is people will keep posting on r/tipofmytongue so this series is going to be around for a long time haha
@@sombertoboggly an idea/suggestion (you didn't ask for) i had while watching this was that it could be fun to sprinkle in solved mysteries from time to time i think whang does this in some of his videos and it always adds this suspense of if you're going to see the thing at the end or not edit: i just realized you already did that (e.g. with the cherise the niece thing) but still, would be pretty epic as a regular thing 😎
So let's see. I did the math on when the guy was born and I did more math and found out that he would have first gone to the amusement park in 2005. Which very much ties in to the fact that The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie came out in 2004. So possibly the ride would have opened in 2004. So look for anyone responsible for safety videos in 2004, and maybe contact them to see if they knew the people who actually made the video.
The second one actually sounds like an interactive website that I used to know of the had a name called like porcelain tiles or like bleach tiles or something like that where it was a really dark website and in the middle there was a graphic that was constantly moving like a slight animation, but you had to click on something in the video to actually get to the next screen and it was supposed to be like an interactive video of exploring an abandoned mental hospital that was haunted and that's still had a dead body hanging in it in the one seen and that was supposed to be one of the endings. Essentially if you caught the ghost or saw the supernatural creatures in this it would take you to an ending scene, which was usually even darker and made it appear that the entire thing had crashed. I remember correctly there were at least three or four different endings and one of them was indeed someone hanging themselves and one of them was a demon creature in the very bottom corner that was hiding like under a desk or something. It sounds like this person just got two of the endings of this interactive game mixed up with each other or mushed together. I really wish I could actually remember what this game was called but it was something like cracked tiles or bleached porcelain or bleached tiles, something that kind of gave you the imagery of an old asylum bathroom because that's where a lot of the jump-scares and monsters were in this game was in the bathrooms and showers.
The second person is looking for an ARG that brings you to a website. The website then takes you to this weird Moon looking face that's singing really strangely. If I'm not mistaken the song that is being sung is actually the very first recording ever and the song is titled Clair de lune. Just going by that she's going to come across a lot of recordings but I'm pretty sure the person that made that ARG used that recording because it was so creepy.
@@ashrini3595 no, it's just an oval white face with squinted eyes and a regular mouth wearing black lipstick. If you google creepy arg that brings you to scary face singing Clare de lune it pops right up
I absolutely adore yer channel, Kylie! I enjoy learnin about these niche and lesser-known lost media mysteries. As much as I enjoy the more popular ones, such as "Pink Morning Cartoon", it's nice to have the spotlight shine on the ones people have been tryin to figure out for years but never got an answer. I hope that some day these mysteries, as well as other mysteries that many people may not know [if at all] will be solved. I am interested in knowing what exactly these medias were like, even if it was only the memory of the original posters makin them sound more disturbin or strange than what they really were. Keep up the great work!
the first one is odd... i went on that exact ride around the exact time they would have but have no recollection of it whatsoever. Funny enough, there's a little 4D teaser from the same ride at Kema Boardwalk in texas that involved rats crawling past you and a snake on a stick coming towards you. that was my spongebob 4d pre show nightmare lol
I just love all of the background images you've got rolling while you talk about these things. The surreal CG stuff. I could just watch hours of it. The newer, intentional stuff and the old, unintentional creepy CG. Never gets old to me.
The first one hit close to home... I tried to reach out on multiple subreddits to find a (separate) claymation video, but my post either garnered little attention or was taken down because they were CONVINCED it was T is for Toilet
I can't get enough of these videos. I am hoping one day that you talk about a story where someone describes something I remember but don't actively think about/try to solve
I love your videos so much. So glad for a new video of yours. I like that your stories aren't the darkest nsfl stuff which is too much for me, but right balance being still mysterious and very intriguing, also your narration is kind of calming as well. It's not like burger king foot lettuce guy, not overly dramatic. You tell stories with a more down to earth tone and the mystery is from whether the story is mysterious in itself. Also where do you get these backroom footages from? Do you personally render them? because they almost always are kind of related to the topic you're talking about. Or you work with someone who does the renders? Many time the eerieness in the background videos greatly reflects the story's eerieness and can be really accurate as it was the actual footage you are talking about.
thank you so much! and i actually just find the footage from other artists online. sometimes it takes a long time to find exactly what i'm looking for. same with the 80s/90s CGI animations i put in. but sometime soon i want to get into animating so i can make my own :)
@@sombertoboggly thank you for the reply! good choices with the background videos. They are sometimes really that accurate as if you made it for what you needed. Good luck with UA-cam in the future!
I just wanted to say, I'm totally addicted to your channel. As a kid I was rly into 2008 UA-cam and flash games, while not exacly obscure, i feel like so much content of that era is most likely lost forever.
How interesting! As I've said before, love these videos a lot and even though I never have any leads into stuff, nor have time to investigate it myself, I just love the idea of a good mystery like this. It's cool in these videos seeing people frlm all over the world convening together to solve a similar piece of strange media, people from all walks of life deciding to focus on the same terrifying old animation. Thanks for the video, excellent quality as always!
your music choices in these are so great, it's always nice when i recgonize a lesserknown tune or two! i smiled when ih eard hylics music play at one point.
Another killer video from one of my new favorite channels. Hope they find the Piercing 3D animation, sounds right up my alley. And as always, the music and narration style in your videos always put them a cut above every other similar video.
Using boards of canada in the outro is so perfect and fitting, their music perfectly encapsulates nostalgic childlike wonder that these reddit posts evoke. You outdid yourself again with this video!!!
Oh my god, the first story legit making me have shivers. I was listening to the beginning about the scary claymation and amusement park and my mind literally immediately went to “oh yea haha, like how I saw a weird thing at adventure dome as a kid” dude my heart stopped hearing that it was in fact that same one
The description of everything is 100% true, I remember the animation as well, it was as Gorey as the person remembered, but yes there was lions and it was weirdly dark for something for kids (dark as in actually dark as in lighting and also dark morally). I was around 11 so it didn’t freak me out as bad as it would for a small child, but Jesus. It freaks me out knowing my mind went to that same video immediately without even knowing it was what she was talking about.
Ngl, your editing, music choice, editing has been very amazing. You’re doing everything right to be a great UA-camr, atleast I think so. Keep doing your thing, I’m rooting for you.
i remember the second one omg. someone showed it to me in like 2010 and i remember being mortified that someone would call my phone and i would have to explain to my mom what happened and i would get in trouble for being on a site i wasn’t supposed to be on
Wasn't it the Doritos promotion? Their old promotion page for a flavor was about a hotel and in the end they could call you if you put your real number
@@MsMoonDragoon yo is it actually? it'd be awesome if it's been solved that quickly! like someone else replied, i can't find anything when i'm looking up beta content for the game. do you know where i can find it?
I really love your vids, and I just really wish there were more of them. Also, I feel it would be pretty satisfying to see already solved reddit mysteries in your channel, maybe ones that were hard to find. Anyway, I really enjoy the content and I'm so looking forward to more.✨️😭💖
im thinking its an original model- look at the way one of the arms is fused to the body- theres no way that could be rigged, it dosent look like it has enough polygons around the elbow to actually be poseable. if it is from a game, its either a static, non animated asset or from some indie horror game with lower animation quality. not anything triple a in origin
The last one sounds so familiar, but I feel like it wasn't exactly ear piercing, but like they were monsters trying to make her more like them. Like a vampire with a Frankenstein boyfriend wanting to give her neck bolts or something.
I just stumbled across your channel today and it gave me a ton of fascinating content to listen to as I work. Thanks for the great videos, keep up the good work!
How on Earth have I not found your channel before?? This is my favorite type of content, so glad I stumbled across you! Great video, can't wait to watch the first parts.
The Ramasjang one could definitely be that grousome, Denmark has never been heavy on censorship, there was a PSA or something my teacher showed our class about 2 parents explaining bacterial infection to their kids who are obsessed with violent video games. they explained that their uncle needed an amputation because of an infection. the kids then went out playing with a neighbor kid. he got a wound and they convinced him he had to get it amputated or he'd die. they then sawed his leg off in graphic detail, screams, lots of blood etc. then they tried to cover it up and the police came. idk very odd but it stuck with me
Do you remember the name because I think I might have seen it or see a little a bit of it? I also remember hearing something similar a friend watch when I was younger. Don't remember all the details but I think a kid got his leg amputated by some other kids because he got bitten by a snake but it wasn't actually poisonous. I think that's how my friend described it to me.
@@soxnsandalsss I think it was like they were obsessed with gory video games and their parents left for the day. Pretty sure the kid fell on the sidewalk and scraped his knee. I just remember the voice actors being very young kids. It’s been a year or so since I saw it. I think it was on one of those school websites, meebook, the one with the bird logo, can’t remember what it’s called. One of those
Danish person here - I DEFINITELY remember seeing that TV-logo, it instantly threw me back the second I saw it. I don't have any recollection of the show itself though, but I'm also a tad too old to really have been watching Ramasjang. That leads me to believe that the TV-logo may be from something like the producers, and not the show itself, considering I remember it. Very odd.
Ahh, love these types of videos where you cover things most people haven't, Keep up the amazing work. By the way have you thought about making a Discord server for your channel? it would be nice to talk to other people that enjoy your content :)

The amysement park psa and horror videogame model have both been found but the post for BOTH have been deleted, if anyone has the answer to either of these two please let me know
It feels like almost every time a new music track in this video comes on I instantly recognize it, it feels so weird having nobody I know ever having heard of some of these tracks yet happening upon a video with them
holy shit i wasn't expecting to know exactly what the first one was talking about, i went to the adventure dome as a kid because i live less than an hour from vegas and we would always go to the 4d SpongeBob thing but the psa scared the living shit outta me. although i remember there being a random shot of a realistic skeleton on fire driving a truck for some reason
I remember the SpongeBob ride PSA! I completely forgot about it until now. I remember closing my eyes while it was playing as a kid. Which is weird because I’ve always liked claymation. The last time I was at the Adventure Dome was when my cousin was 4 or 5, she going to be 8 this year. They weren’t playing it then and the ride was a completely different movie when I was there.
Has anyone found that first one? I’m from Las Vegas and if it still isn’t found, but it’s playing at adventure dome, I can record it and post. Let me know!
Sadly, I doubt the claymation video from the first story will ever be found. My dad (retired) was a video producer who worked for various networks and companies over the years, and back in the day (90’s-2000’s) there were a lot of bizarre short films and videos being made by professional video editors and the like, just for fun, or to kill time at work (lol). Tons of really avant-garde, bizarro shit which usually didn’t mean much of anything, it was often just an excuse to experiment with weird new filming and editing techniques that they didn’t get to try on network footage. My dad made a few, just surreal sorta kinda funny videos of random things that he edited the hell out of until it was barely recognizable. His one friend at work did stop motion animations and we had a few of them on VHS tapes he gave us. Long story short, it was probably made by some guy in the film industry dicking around on a video assignment that he knew nobody would care about, so he made it super weird. Unless the creator or whoever allowed them to play the video in the first place sees that Reddit post and _happens_ to have a copy of the original video, it is probably lost to time.
Thank you for putting so much effort into these! I really admire you giving exposure to these obscure posts. I stopped watching channels that just recycled the same content. Your channel is refreshing, and I love your music taste

I think this may be related to the creepypasta mereana mordegard glesgorv.
Now I can only picture that mutant baby thing as a Spyro NPC that gives you your reward at the end of a REALLY out-of-place level.
I found your channel not long ago and this is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels 🖤
omg THANK YOU, since watching your other 2 videos on this topic i've been looking for more content like this and i've barely found any (and when i did, they weren't as well made as yours), pls don't stop doing these until there's nothing left to cover
thank you, so happy to hear you enjoy the series! the awesome thing about it is people will keep posting on r/tipofmytongue so this series is going to be around for a long time haha
@@sombertoboggly an idea/suggestion (you didn't ask for) i had while watching this was that it could be fun to sprinkle in solved mysteries from time to time
i think whang does this in some of his videos and it always adds this suspense of if you're going to see the thing at the end or not
edit: i just realized you already did that (e.g. with the cherise the niece thing) but still, would be pretty epic as a regular thing 😎
So let's see. I did the math on when the guy was born and I did more math and found out that he would have first gone to the amusement park in 2005. Which very much ties in to the fact that The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie came out in 2004. So possibly the ride would have opened in 2004. So look for anyone responsible for safety videos in 2004, and maybe contact them to see if they knew the people who actually made the video.
your content is so fresh - the topics that you cover always lack any other coverage, and it's so interesting to hear about those stories!

Did you tell them
By any chance is that moon face the one from the 1902 film "A Trip to the Moon"?
@@ashrini3595 no, it's just an oval white face with squinted eyes and a regular mouth wearing black lipstick. If you google creepy arg that brings you to scary face singing Clare de lune it pops right up
@@lesliemartin3 Hm, can't find it.
Using a Hylics 2 song while explaining the strange claymation warning video was a nice touch
the adventure dome thing so entertaining and nostalgic knowing that someone else saw this as a kid aswell
Well said! I agree

Using boards of canada in the outro is so perfect and fitting, their music perfectly encapsulates nostalgic childlike wonder that these reddit posts evoke. You outdid yourself again with this video!!!
I slightly remember the danish one, like It seems like it's somewhere in the back of my head, have no clue tho 😅
Do you remember anything about it, because I’m trying to search for it.
Your reddit videos are significantly better than other channels I get recommended. Really interesting/unique stuff.
Keep doing your thing, I’m rooting for you.
i remember the second one omg. someone showed it to me in like 2010 and i remember being mortified that someone would call my phone and i would have to explain to my mom what happened and i would get in trouble for being on a site i wasn’t supposed to be on
cool! do you remember any other details?
Wasn't it the Doritos promotion? Their old promotion page for a flavor was about a hotel and in the end they could call you if you put your real number
Hope the algorithm blesses this video too. Very good job on this one!

im thinking its an original model- look at the way one of the arms is fused to the body- theres no way that could be rigged, it dosent look like it has enough polygons around the elbow to actually be poseable.
if it is from a game, its either a static, non animated asset or from some indie horror game with lower animation quality. not anything triple a in origin
underrated youtuber your vids are amazingggg

SO GLAD TO SEE YOU UPLOAD AGAIN

By the way have you thought about making a Discord server for your channel? it would be nice to talk to other people that enjoy your content :)

holy shit i wasn't expecting to know exactly what the first one was talking about, i went to the adventure dome as a kid because i live less than an hour from vegas and we would always go to the 4d SpongeBob thing but the psa scared the living shit outta me. although i remember there being a random shot of a realistic skeleton on fire driving a truck for some reason
These videos keep me entertained when i need something to distract me, thanks lad

Binged all your stuff the other day, glad you've uploaded again :)
It was literally the first one solved, what do you mean?
